About the home

This superb refurbished Apartment is in the popular Agata complex, Arroyo de la Meil, Benalmadena. Situated in the sought after Gamonal area, this apartment is in a perfect position to enjoy the resort's delights being ten minutes walk to the beach and five minutes to the fantastic park de Paloma. Shops, bars restaurants and the train station are all close by.

The apartment has one bedroom with twin beds. A refurbished bathroom with bath and shower. A refurbished kitchen with fridge microwave, mini oven, twin hobs and washing machine.

The living room has 2 comfortable chairs and a sofa which can be folded into a double bed. There is a large flat screen tv with satelitte freeview channels, Spanish HD didgital tv, with DVD with many dvds, and books for nights in

The sunny corner balcony has views over the gardens and the park complet with chairs and table to enjoy long cool drinks

The house is fully equiped for long lets

The complex has 2 large swimming pools open April to October which are protected by life guards. Well kept communal gardens, 24 hrs reception (English spoken) and parking.

The Apartments are adjacent is the newly opened Ice area and indoor pool. A Sea life centre is just across the park. Bonanza Square with its restaurants and bars is 5 minutes walk.

There is a fold up bed available for the fifth person to sleep on.

There are books, and DVDs for nights in on long lets. The lounge has a sofa and 2 arm chairs if you wish to stay in and watch the satellite TV 32" flat screen ( complete with the Freeview package and Spanish didgital tv)

The apartment has a safe and air conditioning

For the winter months the air conditioning reverses to a heater for the lounge, there is also a gas heater available.

The apartment has a balcony with table and chairs if you wish to eat out doors in the sunshine

The newly refurbished bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower

There is a 24 hr English speaking reception complete with security cameras for well being. There is a telephone to contact the reception and receive incoming calls or to call the studio.

Further details outdoors:
The gardens are fully enclosed and secure with a coded pass need to gain entry. A security guard is present in peak season. The pools have life guards at all times there is café bar serving drinks and meals.

Opposite the Apartment is a brand new municipal sports centre with ice area swimming pool and gym
Boat trips and ferry to Fruengirola are available from the Marina

the train from Malaga to Frengirola is 10 minutes walk away

There is a water park , Crocodile park , Sea life cente and Dolphin park all in the area.

There are 5 pools in total manned by life guards

Very close is a large local supermarket, euro shops and clothes shops
Nearby is Tivoli World and also the cable car, with a birds of pray show and suburb views

There is a currency exchange which usually gives very good rates opposite the apartments.
The apartment has off road parking, a 24 hour English speaking reception.

Where there is a same day change over Then the apartment is available from 14: 00 on the day of arrival and is be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure unless other arrangements are made

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The area's mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round.

Few visitors to Spain take the time to discover Malaga as they head from the airport down to their holiday resorts on the Costa del Sol.

The Benalmadena / Arroyo de la Miel area

Arroyo de la Miel is a populated area between the mountains and the coast. This is where most of the area's population and businesses are located and it too has a wide range of attractions including a sports complex, bilingual library and the world famous theme park Tivoli World and Cable car.

From Arroyo de la Miel by train you can travel to Fuengirola (15 minutes), Torremolinos (10 minutes) or Malaga (30 minutes).

The apartment overlooks Paloma park to which the Selwo dolphin park is adjacent. The beach is 10 minutes walk and nearby is the world famous marina.

La Paloma park is a quiet and beautiful park set in the heart of Benalmadena Costa where local people
relax. This was created quite recently and features a large lake with a fountain and ducks, swans and pelicans and landscaped gardens with enclosures for a variety of animals and birds.

Bonanza square with its restaurants and bars is 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Sorry Paul but missed your e mail we flew on21st april and spent a great week in the apartment which I must say was great the facilities were fantastic it was spotless clean and the bedding was whiter than white. liked the new washer and fridge and spent a great time in the sun on the lovely balcony. we were fortunate to be able to watch the easter processions in Arroya what a spectacle very moving.We were also fortunate to have friends whos apartment in Agata we have stayed in before there at the same time so we had some very good nights out with them. The staff in Agata are wonderful and very friendly and gave us all the gen on the parades. Thank again for the apartment which came up to a very high standard in our estimation and look forward to br contacting you again I must say have also looked at the town house in Almeria and we really fancy trying that so thanks again.

Well, your apartment was a great success, comfortable and very well equipped and the location was just perfect. The fantastic park, the shops and restaurants a stones throw away and the supermarket on the doorstep.
