"Just another day on the Costa" is our motto, as there is so much to see and do in this lovely part of Spain where we have on average 320 sunny days a year. Our apartments are home from home, all you need to bring is your beach towel and toothbrush. Edificio Cielomar is a lovely apartment complex with a unique swimming pool on the second floor. Bars are close by, as are supermarkets, and it is in close proximity to the popular Bonanza Square where you will find a choice of International Restaurants. The beautiful Marina is a 10 minute walk away, where you can admire the wonderful boats and people watch or even take a journey yourself. Also close by in the growing village of Arroyo de la Miel, this is a typical spanish village, and the Cable Car ride up the mountain. There is something for everyone, and your holiday apartment will be an excellent base. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and get repeat bookings year after year. We give clients our personal touch. We have two 2 bedroomed apartments in this apartment block, which have the added benefit of air conditioning/heating (coin operated - for your convenience) so it is ideal for families who want to holiday together. One is on the first floor and the other is on the ninth floor. We also have apartments in other blocks, please ask about these. A dvd and brochure can be provided, please ask for one when enquiring. We also have apartments in other blocks available which are very close to Edificio Cielomar. Most have large plasma tvs in. There is also a selection of dvds in the apartments for you to enjoy if you cannot find anything to watch on the tv!!
The apartments each have 2 bedrooms, one double, one twin. The kichen has fan oven, 4 ring halogen hob, washing machine, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster and microwave/grill. The living room has a leather sofa and chair, tv receiving free to air channels, dvd/cd player, video recorder. The balcony has patio furniture. The apartments are air conditioned (coin operated - for your convenience)
The swimming pool is on the 2nd floor, we provide sunbeds for use around the pool, please take back to apartment each day. There are sunshades around the pool, for those red hot days when you appreciate to be in the shade. Please note, as of April 2012 there are sunbeds and cushions available for your use around the pool at no extra charge.
The balcony has a glass table and 4 chairs and a whicker table and 2 chairs. There are beautiful views of the med from the balcony. Why not enjoy a glass of sangria and watch the boats sail in and out the marina?
Our first floor apartment has a table and four chairs, and relaxer chairs, you get views of the med and are overlooking the garden.
We also have other apartments in the building next door, Edificio Europark, these are also 2 bedroom apartments, so we can accommodate larger families/parties who wish to holiday together but have their own space.

Please note if you avail of the winter special the housekeeper will not call during your stay. We will provide sufficient laundry for your use during your stay. You can wash the laundry at your own time. The housekeeper will call at the end of your stay. During the winter months heating is provided through the air conditioning which is coin operated for your convenience.

There is a lovely tapas bar, called El Refugio, the owner, Parviz is an excellent cook and his food is delicious!! 2013 is his 25 year anniversary at the restaurant.
Also there are a couple of bars in the complex (Jan 2013), The Harp Bar (Sally and Alan) is open from Noon - close and they serve a very nice English breakfast, and an Irish Bar, The Little Shamrock (Manus and Maureen)
There are many supermarkets close by, MAS, Lidl, Supersol, Mercadona.
The local train station at Arroyo de la Miel is just a 5 - 10 minute walk away.
The popular Bonanza and Ibensa Squares are only a few minutes away, and the nearest beach is a steady downhill stroll.

There is a one off charge of 50 euro per apartment per stay for the housekeeper/service charge
We would appreciate if you are a smoker to please smoke on the balcony. Please think about the next guests.
The coin metered air conditioning costs one euro for three hours, but this can be stopped and started, holding the money for you.
Conditions
Change over day is usually Sunday, but we can be flexible depending on time of year. Please call us to check availability before booking your flight.
We have a winter special for bookings of 4 weeks or more, £697 for 4 weeks. This is available October to March. Please enquire for availability. We will provide laundry and towels for your stay and you can wash this at your own convenience. The housekeeper will not call during your stay. Heating is provided through the coin operated air conditioning for your convenience.
Although we welcome smokers, for comfort of next guests we kindly ask you smoke on the balcony.
As from 2.1.11 Spain has become a no smoking country in Bars, Restaurants, Public Places, Airports.

Benalmadena offers so much to the tourist from a relaxing day on the beach, to a go at parasailing, or a dip in the pool. Benalmadena is split in to three levels, the Pueblo which is the old town with white washed buildings and typically spanish, you have Arroyo de la Miel which translates as river of honey, this used to be a small village but is now growing each year. Here we have the local train station, many restaurants and shops. Then we have Benalmadena Costa with many beaches stretching all along the coast, and here you will find a wonderful marina with restaurants and bars in abundance. The Costa del Sol is just as it says, the sun coast.
The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area
For the more adveturous a trip to North Africa could be on the cards where you can ride on a camel, go to a traditional tea room for mint tea. Benalmadena is an ideal base to take many trips if you wish, although there is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area, such as our beautiful Paloma Park, Selwo Dolphin Park, where if you wish you can swim with the dolphins. For fantastic views then take a ride up the cable car and if you time it right you'll get to see a wonderful bird show with golden eagles, falcons and owls to name just a few. We have many fiestas during the year and you may get to see the spanish all dressed up and having a great time. You may want to take a trip to Gibraltar to get a taste of home but with warmer temperatures. Benalmadena also has an ice bar where you can really chill!!! There is really something for everyone. You may wish to take a small bus ride up to the typical Spanish white washed village of Mijas, their local Feria is beginning June, For fish lovers if you are visiting the first Thursday of June, walk down to La Carihuela and enjoy the free fish, beer and sangria (2013 date to be confirmed)

You can fly to Malaga from all regional airports in the UK. Companies such as easyJet, Jet2, Monarch, Thomsonfly, First Choice, Thomas Cook and Ryanair offer good prices.
To get to the apartment you can either take a taxi (approx 25 euro one way), the train, approx 1.85 euro per person one way, or hire a car from the many car hire companies. If you hire a car, please let us know so we can provide a hob to the gates of the car park

We have now refurbished one of the kitchens to have a full fan oven, 4 ring halogen hob and fridge freezer, microwave/ grill and superb washing machine that does a load in 15 minutes, I love it!!!
We now provide beach towels, to save weight on your luggage, £5 per let, please enquire at time of booking so we can out the towels out for you.
We have a September special in our apartment in Edificio Europark, £150 per week 23 - 30 Sept, or 30 Sept - 7 Oct
