About the home

This apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has a very large sun terrace for sunbathing, barbeques or al fresco dining. It has two large swimming pools set in beautiful landscaped gardens.
It is spacious throughout with one king bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin/triple bedroom served by an additional bathroom.There is also a separate single sofa bed in the lounge to accommodate a 6th occupant when required. The apartment is equipped with all mod cons to ensure that your stay is as relaxing and pleasurable as possible. It has both English TV and also has a DVD and there is free internet access in the main bedroom.The lounge has double glass doors leading onto the elevated sun terrace.
The apartment is far enough away from the night-life for those who prefer quiet relaxation in the sunshine.There are paddle tennis courts, a gym and a spa available next door to the apartments which allows payment for gym access and beauty treatments for those who like to keep fit while away, or just relax and unwind in luxury.The apartment is also accessible to all areas of Benalmadena via the regular bus service that stops on the main road. It is also accessible to Los Boliches beach front with it´s array of beachfront bars, shops and restaurants.
We also provide a book of all the local information, useful phone numbers & tourist information maps, containing detailed information on all areas of Benalmadena Costa & Benalmdena Pueblo regarding recommended restaurants, bars, market days, tourist attractions etc. Since we live locally, we are able to provide lots of useful personal hints & tips on how to make the most of your holiday from day one. You can also opt for airport transfers and even a tour on arrival by our local representative that has over 20 years experience of living and exploring the local area. All in all you will have a full service holiday without the costs of the package holiday prices.We have 11 apartments to choose from, all owned by friends and family who use them as holiday homes. We can also help larger groups or multiple families travelling together by allocating apartments for all families close together.

Tastefully furnished throughout, benefiting from a through lounge/diner with patio doors leading onto the very large dining terrace.
All rooms have blackout shutters to enable afternoon siestas or extended lie ins.
Both the bathrooms & the bedrooms provide ample suitable lighting & mirrors & all bedrooms have sufficient hanging & storage space.
A book of all local attractions & places to visit is also provided in the apartment.

Further details outdoors:
There is a local bus stop up on the main road which provides a regular, reliable and cheap, air-conditioned bus service, which stops at the many local amenities and attractions.
A copy of the bus route is provided in the apartment together with an information booklet on all local facilities and places of interest. The leisure club next door allows you to pay for additional sports and leisure facilities e.g. paddle tennis, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, nail and beauty treatments etc.
Only suitable for young children in buggies, or the elderley or infirm, if you use the local cheap and efficient taxi service or a hire car, since the apartment is midway up a long hill and therefore difficult to walk for those less able.

Travel cots, high chairs & hairdryers can be provided on request.
We can also provide welcome food packs in the apartment for arrivals in the evening, or on a Sunday or a local bank holiday, when the shops are closed.
One set of bedding & towels is provided for each occupant, with the exception of towels to be used outside of the apartment e.g. at the pool or the beach.
Although this is a non smoking apartment, smoking is permitted exclusively on the outside balcony.
Pets may be allowed - please enquire.
Pool opening times are at the discretion of the residential community.

Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 30% (minimum £100) is payable on confirmation of the booking.
The balance of 70% is payable 2 months prior to arrival.
For bookings confirmed within 2 months of the arrival date, the full amount is payable at the time of confirmation.
A refundable damage & breakage deposit of £150 is payable at the time the balance is paid (this may be higher for larger parties).This will be refunded within 1 week following your stay following the return of all keys & a satisfactory property inspection.
All payments are by traceable bank transfer.
Arrivals at the apartment after 7pm at night will be subject to a £20 / 25 Euro charge for late check-in. Early check in on your day of arrival &/or late check out on your day of departure, can be arranged by prior agreement & are subject to a similar charge, depending on the time you wish to arrive/vacate the apartment.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol translates to coast of sunshine and the all year round summer temperatures attract many thousands of visitors to the coast each year in search of sun, sea and sangria!
From November to March there is also the opportunity to combine your sunbathing with a trip to the mountain-top village of Sierra Nevada, where the ski resort atmosphere gives a totally different dimension to your winter break and the snow covered mountain scenery is spectacular. Sip hot wine, have a brandy and coffee, dine overlooking the vast mountain backdrops, have snowball fights in the sunshine, or shop for winter outfits to keep out the cold for when you return home! Skiiers take your ski's, non-skiers...go on give it a try!
This region of Spain also boasts many varied and contrasting Spanish towns and cities, from Seville and Granada, to Ronda, Nerja and Puerto Banus, all having unique sightseeing opportunities.
Gibraltar is also about 1 hour away and is renowned for it's money saving duty free shopping and the famous barbary ape colony high up the rockface. Close to Gibraltar, there is also easy access to North Africa, via Ceuta or Tangiers, should you wish to experience a different continent in the same trip, including Camel rides, Snake Charming, Bazaar shopping and the inevitable bargaining that goes with each purchase!
In short there is a whole world of different experiences within easy reach.

The Benalmadena area

The Benalmadena/Los Boliches area boasts a wide variety of amenities including:
-Restaurants, cafes, bars and beach side dining
-Shops, boutiques and local markets
-Benalmadena marina (voted the best marina in Europe)
-Parks and theme parks e.g. waterparks, zoo, sea-life centres, safari park, cable-car with falconry display etc.
-Varied nightlife including 24 hour casino and high quality live entertainment such as the popular International and flamenco shows and magic/illusionist shows, cinemas showing films in English
-Whitewashed Spanish villages
-Boat trips including evening dining and daytime dolphin trips.
-Beaches, coves, watersports, including diving and other sports e.g. golf, tennis, ice skating, horse/donkey rides, crazy golf, horse racing, walking/hiking, paragliding, fishing etc.
Also, with prices generally lower than the UK, you are able to indulge in plenty of luxuries and activities that would be more difficult to afford at home which makes the holiday a special pleasure..

The apartment is only 20 minutes by car from Malaga airport and so you can start enjoying your holiday as soon as you arrive!

Cheap flights to Malaga are available all year round from Monarch,Jet2,Easyjet,Bmibaby,British Airways,Flybe,Ryanair & many other airlines. (Arrival & departure days are flexible so that you can book flights according to when they are competitively priced).

Return chauffeured transfers to and from the apartment are also available on request. You can be met in the arrivals hall and driven directly to your holiday apartment all together, even for larger groups. You will also be collected at your apartment and taken directly to the airport in good time for your flight departure on your last day.

Regarding public transport, taxis are available from the airport & there is also a train link which will take you to within a 5 minute taxi ride of the apartment.

Should you wish to travel further afield during your holiday, we can also assist you in seeking a hire car with the most competitively priced and reliable local hire car companies. Ample parking is available near the apartment for those who wish to hire a car.

First of all we must thank you and Jon for the excellent way in which we were welcomed to our holiday, we have not experienced that kind of personal touch in the past, it really did get things of to a great start,
The apartment was excellent and everything we had hoped for, Jon's recommendations were spot on and we visited many of the restaurants he advised, twice to Pepe's, great food every night.I would not be surprised if you heard from us next year.

As for your survey that's easy the ratings are: Local Los Boliches/Benalmadena Area Facilities and Attractions, meet and greet service and apartment quality all rated excellent.
The booklet that your husband and yourself have compiled was also excellent and a real help when deciding where to go and what to do.
We would not hesitate to re-book with you again, (we are going to Australia for 4 weeks at Christmas but I don't suppose you have any properties out there!!)

The size of the balcony was amazing and the views were lovely. Pools and gardens were also very spacious and not too overcrowded which made for a really relaxing holiday. Made use of the leisure facilities next door which provided an added touch of luxury to our stay. Really enjoyed our holiday and managed to totally chill out! Thanks. We had a thoroughly relaxing time.

Airport Transfer Service - was excellent, rate 5
Meet and Greet Service - was excellent, Jill and Jon met us and were most helpful and very informative and even took us in their car to show us around and dropped us off in the lovely village where we returned many times.
Apartment Facilities - was beautiful with such wonderful views and the huge terrace was the icing on the cake.we rate 5****. the pool was the best pool we have ever used!
Local Area - we would rate as 3-4, the apt is situated midway on a steep hill which wasn't a problem for us as all we wanted to do was chill with a couple of shopping trips being ok for us.
Bus Service - we used the local bus and also the train to get into Torromolinos which were very cheap and efficient. We also used the local taxi service many times and found them very cheap and extremely helpful, we rate 5
All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would return again using Jill and Jon to help us find another wonderful holiday, many thanks to a lovely family we wish you well and hope you continue to make good progress with little Tomas.
