About the home

The San Jose studio is in an excellent location just across the road from the beach. It has a private terrace and small lawned area just off the terrace. It is south west facing so gets the sunshine most of the day. The kitchen is very well equipped including a full oven which is ideal for longer winter lets.

San Jose is a well maintained complex with a communal pool and garden area and there is also communal barbecue for guests use staying at the San Jose apartments.

The world famous marina is about a 10 minute walk away along the promenade and various bars, restaurants and entertainment venues are only minutes away.

The studio has a full kitchen with oven and hob. It has an american style kitchen with an archway separating the kitchen from the lounge/sleeping area.

There is a double sofa bed in the lounge area with two stools at the breakfast bar. A double wardrobe for storage and a tv/dvd showing English tv channels.

There is a separate bathroom which has a bath with shower above. The washing machine is in the bathroom.

There is small private garden area which has a small outdoor table, a lounger and a sun chair.

The coomunal pool and garden area is on the same level as the studio. There is a communal BBQ area around the pool for guest use. The studio is south facing so gets the sun all day.

For the consideration of others using the apartment we request smoking guests use the patio area.

Travel cots, pushchairs and highchairs are available for hire. £15 for 1 week or £25 for two weeks.

Airport tranfers can be arranged with an English speaking driver.

Other apartments available for rent from Studios to Villas with Private Pools.

Bed linen and 1 bath and 1 hand towel provided per week for each guest. Beach towels are not provided.

Conditions

A £100 per week non-refundable deposit is required along with a signed booking form detailing party members and accepting terms and conditions. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.

Apartments must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure and are available from 4pm on the day of arrival. If there are no guests arriving or departing on the same day this is flexible.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa Del Sol is pretty much an all year round weather resort with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. There are plenty places of interest to visit or you can just relax and unwind. Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cordoba or the Sierra Nevada mountains in the winter for skiing are all within easy travelling distances by car or train. The famous Rock of Gibraltar is only an hours drive away.

Benalmadena is located between Fuengirola and Torremolinos. These are both easily accessible by public transport, either by train or bus. Malaga is a 15-20 minute drive away and has the Picaso museum, Open Top Bus Tour and many other things to do and places to see. The choice is yours.

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area

Benalmadena is split into three areas being Benalmadena Pueblo the old Spanish style village, Arroyo De La Miel the busy town area where you will find the train station and Benalmadena Costa, and the beach area.

Benalmadena Pueblo has a quiet pace of life with white washed Spanish houses and a lovely square which is an ideal place to stop and have lunch. The church is worth a visit and outside has stunning views down to the coast. The local bull ring is here too.

Arroyo De la Miel is a much busier area with shops and restaurants. Tivoli World Amusement Park is in Arroyo and this is where they hold the local Friday market. The cable car runs from here and at the top you will be rewarded with a falconry display.

Benalmadena Costa is the coastal area where you will find the world famous Puerto Marina. There is plenty to keep the younger ones occupied with Sealife Centre, Dolphinarium, Mini Golf and the lovely Parque de la Paloma.

Malaga airport is only a 20 minute drive from Benalmadena. Airport transfers can be arranged to take you directly to the apartment you have booked but if you prefer to use public transport taxis are available right outside the airport. The train station is just across the road which would take you into Arroyo De La Miel.

There are a number of airlines that fly into Malaga:
Easyjet, Thomsonfly, BMIBaby, Flybe, Monarch & British Airways are just a few where great deals can be found when looking for flights.

With budget airlines the earlier you book the better and a if you register with each of the companies they will send you details of special offers as soon as they become available.

“lovley studio and close to everything” the san-jose is a lovley studio with all we needed,ann and nigel were very helpful with everything,we are hoping to go back early next year.

“Lovely Apartment with garden” This studio Apartment is really lovely with the added advantage of a small garden area, next to the complex pool and communal barbecue area. Clean and tidy with views overlooking the sea. Suitable for single or double occupancy. Situated not far from the main road [although quiet] with a bit of a steep climb but within walking distance of all amenities.

A lovely ground floor studio with patio doors opening onto the well maintained garden area which gave us a secluded place to relax. Although situated close to beach and all amenities, within the Spanish style complex it was quiet and peaceful. John & Kath.
