The Costa del Sol region

Benalmadena Costa is in the heart of the Costa del Sol where many activities include fishing, cycling, walking, bowling, golfing, tennis, sailing, and all the obvious activities which comes with being beside the Med.

There are aqua parks in Torremolinos and Fuengirola, about 6 kms either way, and a crocodile park. On the doorstep is Paloma park with its rabbits/chickens/ducks/geese etc roaming wild, and the Selwo Marina dolphin and sealion exhibitions.

The climate is considered the best in Europe because of its exceptional mild sunny winters and long warm summers (300 plus sunny days).

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area

Places to visit within walking distance are the town of Arroyo de la Miel, with its vast array of restaurants and bars. It also has a train station which connects you to Fuengirola to the West and Malaga to the East, stopping off at places like Torremolinos.

The Plaza Mayor boasts International restaurants, bars, a multiplex cinema and 10 pin bowling alleys. Puerto Marina is a must-see with its award winning design and multitude of special shops and varied nightlife.Going back to Arroyo you have the Friday market and a cable car, which takes you to the top of the mountain where you can view as far as Marbella to the West and Nerja to the East.
