About the home

A studio for two people ideally located centrally for all amenities in Arroyo de la Miel and down at the coast. A low level studio with lovely views of the gardens pool and sea.

The studio enjoys an enclosed balcony to give you a more roomy feel with large sliding windows to let the sun stream in, there's a tv with British programmes a dvd cd and cassette player. For security we have a safe for your passports /money etc and for general security there's a 24 hour reception which are there for any direct problems. Linen and towels are provided.

The swimming pool is open in may till October and has a lifeguard for safety purposes,there are also a large garden to sunbathe in and a poolside bar for snacks and refreshments on those long hot summers days.

Smokers welcome but must use the balcony. Entry to the apt is from 2pm and we need a 12 noon vacation if we have no bookings coming in the day you leave we can be flexible and allow you to stay until you travel back to the airport , we recommend buying an extra day as it will ensure you can stay late.

The Costa del Sol region

The nearest international airport is Malaga which is approx.10kms away. The town is situated in the heart of the Costa del sol where there are numerous activities to see and do there's golf,fishing,horse riding, bowls, sailing, cycling and touring all done in the best climate Europe has to offer(over 300 days of sunshine a year and the kindest winters in Europe).

Arroyo de la miel is a very busy all year round town come summer or winter nothing closes, it has a market on Friday and a Sunday bric a brac in Tivoli also a Wednesday flea market at Paloma park.

There's a railway station which takes you as far as Fuengirola to the west and Malaga to the east from there you can catch the the fast train to Madrid(2 hours 40 mins) or to Seville and beyond. A car is not necessary as all amenities are within easy walking distance or by one of the many reasonable buses.

The resort of Benalmadena boasts a fantastic marina.

“First stay but certainly not the last” We've just returned from a two weeks stay at this apartment and Imust say it was everything we could have wanted. There was all the crockery,utensils etc. you could ask for even down to books and dvds if you decide on a night in, add that to english tv and a beautiful enclosed balcony overlooking the swimming pool and you have the makings of a perfect home from home. Gill and Luke were as helpful as always and we will definitely use it again and reccomend it to friends

“Great for the price” Booked apartment with Luke no problem. Arrived at apt and found it very clean and tidy and everything there that was stated in advert. In a good location for the park and sea front a short walk away or up the street into the main eating area. Try Paraiso near Hercules. Food very good and cheap. Would definitely go back Response: Thankyou for your review of May we have just improved the studio even more by having it soundproofed probably the one of the only apts to have this done in the block.

“Good situation - poor soudproofing” We staydet in this cute little studio two weeks.. The situation is exelent( Bus ja train connections) . In the studio there was everything you need for a short stay. It was clean and there was a porter 24 h/day. Yoy could feel safe. Internet was in the lobby ( cheap).We would not stay longer because the poor soudproofing. You could here the TV-program and discussing from the neighbour apartment. Response: The soundproofing of the studio would be an added bonus and after the next rentals have vacated (we have asked the current renters and they have said there isnt a noticeable problem)we will be having work carried out to ensure that there is no chance of sound coming from next door our word is our bond.
