About the home

The apartment is a first floor beach front studio located 4km South West of Benalmadena and would be a lovely cosy retreat. It will sleep four people. Two in the lounge/bedroom area on two single beds (which can be made into a double if required) and two on the enclosed terrace where there is a double sofa bed. It is very homely with a separate kitchen and bathroom.

The local transport is a very cheap way of finding your way around Benalmadena and its surrounding areas and there is a bus stop right outside the block. For those feeling more energetic it is a good walk into Benalmadena either along the road or some of the way along the beach.

The "Playa Nudista" is a 5 minute walk away.

The apartmentment is bright and airy, has good storage space and is south facing so gets the Spanish sunshine all day.

Directly on the beach with a beach bar next door so not far to go for that ice cold beer. New supermarket just been built close by which bakes it own bread. Asian and Pizza restaurants all within walking distance.

Two sunloungers and mattresses provided for beach use.

Airport tranfers can be arranged with an English speak driver.

Travel cot, highchair and pushchairs are available for hire at £15 for one week or £25 for two.

Another studio is available for hire in Malibu for families/couples wishing to holiday together. Please email for further details.

Bed linen and 1 bath and 1 hand towel per person is provided but beach towels are not. Please bring your own.

Conditions

A £100 per week non-refundable deposit is required along with a completed booking form detailing party members and accepting terms and conditions. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.

Apartments must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure and are available from 4.00pm on day of arrival.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa Del Sol is pretty much an all year round weather resort with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. There are plenty places of interest to visit or you can just relax and unwind. Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cordoba or the Sierra Nevada mountains in the winter for skiing are all within easy travelling distances by car or train. The famous Rock of Gibraltar is only an hours drive away.

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area

Benalmadena is split into three areas being Benalmadena Pueblo the old Spanish style village, Arroyo De La Miel the busy town area where you will find the train station and Benalmadena Costa, the beach area.

Benalmadena Pueblo has a quiet pace of life with white washed Spanish houses and a lovely square which is an ideal place to stop and have lunch. The church is worth a visit and outside has stunning views down to the coast. The local bull ring is here too.

Malaga airport is only a 20 minute drive from Benalmadena. Airport transfers can be arranged to take you directly to the apartment you have booked but if you prefer to use public transport taxis are available right outside the airport. The train station is just across the road which would take you into Arroyo De La Miel.

There are a number of airlines that fly into Malaga. Easyjet, Thomsonfly, BMIBaby, Flybe, Monarch & British Airways are just a few where great deals can be found when looking for flights. With budget airlines the earlier you book the better and a if you register with each of the companies they will send you details of special offers as soon as they become available.

“Clean studio with prime beach position ,facilities and service.Great value.” We are retired couple looking for quiet holiday with good quality accommodation .We found this in Malibu Studio .Right on beach- we could almost touch the sea.The accommodation was first class-beautiful quality but maybe could do with air conditioning (The weather was hot when we were there).There were restaurants nearby-may be a bit limited if you do not like fish..But the doorstep quiet beach bar ,Italian and others suited us..Full beach facilities a very short walk away and there is bus and train service within yards to beautiful Benalmadina and other resorts.Airport transfer service was provided from the excellent letting Agents Ann and Nigel of benalrent..com Great value.Recommended.We will be back.

“Spacious on the beach studio apartment with beautiful sea views” Fantastic location of this apartment right on the beach! Bus stop to take you into town right outside too! spotlessly clean with all good amenties. Everything we needed was catered for, such as sunloungers and beach parasol, full kitchen equipment, Cd player ,Tv, hairdryer, clothes line, even a shopping trolley for when buying groceries! There is plenty of storage space provided although I feel the apartment furniture would look even better if updated to a more modern type. Although this would then maybe increase the price and at the moment I think its a really reasonable cost for such a fantastic sea front property. A special mention for Ann and Nigel who looked after us very well..also Neil who picked us up from the airport and settled us in nicely.

“Lovely studio with a beautiful view of the sea” This was our 2nd visit this year. The studio is very comfortable and the view of the sea from the enclosed balcony is lovely. Everything is supplied for your needs. A quiet location but very near to buses and only 15 mins walk to the train station. Bars, restaurants, and good supermarket nearby. Great for 2 persons but can accommodate 4.

¨Location on beach made this an idyllic and relaxing holiday. Regular bus service enabled us to get around without a car. A spacious studio and the sliding doors made it seem like a 1 bedroom¨ John & Kath.

We also found it fantastic being able to get the bus right outside into Fenguirola or to Benalmadena of an evening only a short journey away, both very vibrant places where shops and restaurants are in abundance, but nice to come back though to the peace and tranquility at Malibu ! once again thankyou very much"

"Hello Ann, well , Malibu Apartments , what can I say? It really was beyond our expectations , a very pleasant , clean and I must say very spacious apartment ! I admit I was surprised , not least because it didn´t cost the earth to rent ! The setting could not have been better , right on the beach , looking out over the sea , it really was like a small piece of paradise. Admittedly it is away from most of the hussle and bussle of Benalmadena Costa , but I think that added to its attraction ! It is a lovely walk into Benalmadena , but for us we regularly used the buses ( a huge saving on taxi's) , although the taxi fares were not badly priced either. We were only sorry it was for only a week, we really did not want to leave so soon. I/we would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for somewhere quiet and idyllic to stay , but which is not far from everything you could want ! There is only one word for it "PERFECT" Hope to see you again very soon. Kind regards"

Hi Ann,
Just to say how much we enjoyed our stay in the apt: The convenience and low cost of public transport in the area was a bonus, and if we fancied walking to the " madding crowds " there were plenty of resting places to sit and ponder along the way, and then a bus back to our oasis. With the beach and the ocean on our doorstep ( literally ) we had it all. The apartment was clean, airy and very comfortable and we hope to stay there again. Thanks for the drinks left for us, it was much appreciated.
