About the home

Benalmádena is only about ten minutes from the airport. You can either take the train to Arroyo de la Miel and then a ten minute walk or a short taxi ride to the apartment or a taxi direct from the airport to the apartment. The taxi will most likely cost about 30 euros.

The building has four lifts and ramp access outside and inside for pushchairs or wheelchairs. It´s near the beach, shops and restaurants and within easy reach of other areas along the coast.

There is an Internet section in reception housing 6 computers to keep in touch with family and friends.

Benalmádena beach is only half a kilometer away. There are pedalos, jet skis and many more beach activities to engage in, plus the many little bars and restaurants that can be found along the beaches. Other activities nearby are: Tivoli World Theme Park and two Water Parks, a Dolphinarium, a Crocodile Park, Cruises between Benalmádena and Fuengirola, an award winning Zoo, Sealife and many more attractions. There is a local market on Friday mornings, well worth visiting.

It has an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar that separates the kitchen from the lounge. The kitchen is fitted with a ceramic hob, microwave, electric kettle and washing machine.
In the lounge is a double sofa bed so in all it will sleep 5 people.
There is 1 bedroom with two single beds and the option of using a z bed. The ventilated white bathroom has a power shower in it.
There is air conditioning in the lounge which is fed by a meter and only costs 1 euro for three hours.

Many people spend hours and hours by the super pools in this complex. There are pools for adults, young children and babies. Lifeguards are always patrolling during the summer months. The pools are set in lovely gardens with a cafeteria in the grounds.

There is an internet section in reception to keep in touch with family and friends and of course ideal for teenage holidaymakers to keep in touch with Facebook.

Numerous places to visit and lots of excursions available. There is no way you could not enjoy this holiday!

Further details outdoors:
There are two adult pools with slides plus children's and babies pool with lifeguards in the summer season. Only residents and holidaymakers from apartments allowed in so it´s never overcrowded.

A lovely pool side bar and cafetaria is set in the grounds. There will be beach/pool towels left in the apartment so as not to fill your suitcase with unnecessary things.

Opposite the apartment are numerous bars and restaurants even an "English chippy"

Very nearby is the lovely Paloma Park with it´s large lake and attractions for children.

Further details

For those who wish not to be woken up early by the morning sun, we have hung special curtains to close at night to keep the sun out.

The only thing we ask is that people treat the apartment like their own home and limit smoking to the balcony.

The Costa del Sol region

The apartment is one of the best complexes only 0.5kms from the beach. On the beach are pedalos, jet skis and of course little bars and restaurants. The well known attraction park of Tivoli World is nearby which is a must for children and adults too. There is a Dolphinarium and Sea Life both of which are great for family days out! Likewise there are two Water Parks which are not too far away.

You can walk to the cable car which takes you to the top of the local mountain and once there you can enjoy for free the bird show and ride on the donkeys.

There are various markets nearby where you can soak up the local atmosphere. If you want to go further afield then the train station is quite close and takes you both to Malaga and Fuengirola.For something a little different then a little further away you have horse riding and quads.

Only a short taxi drive away is the lovely Sunset Beach Casino and Show. There are lots of shopping centres and bowling centres nearby too, so you really will not be at a loss for what to do!

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area

The old city of Malaga is only 30 mins. away by train which is very interesting. You can go to Marbella by bus, train or of course rent a car. Puerto Banus is a must, especially at night where you´ll see the rich and famous.

There are various excursions to Seville and Cordoba. You can go to Gibraltar and take a boat out to see the dolphins or see the monkeys on Gibraltar Rock. You can see the famous viaduct in Rhonda or just ride up to see the lovely white village of Mijas.

The feria in Benalmadena is awesome. If you haven´t visited a feria before, it´s unforgettable. It´s on during the last two weeks of June. For exact dates, please contact me.

San Juan (Saint John) This is celebrated roundabout 23rd June. The beaches are packed at night with parties around bonfires. Another unforgettable night.

Fly to Málaga airport with either Easyjet or Flybe. The local train runs directly from the airport to Benalmádena and then it´s a very short taxi ride from the train station to the apartment or 15 minutes walk through the village of Arroyo de la Miel. You will need some euros or a note for the machine. There are lots of bars and restaurants and you can stop on the way for refreshments!!
The taxi from the airport to the apartment takes about 15 minutes and costs about 30 euros
