Ideal family holiday destination, just over two hours from London to Malaga & then only 15/20 mins airport transfer time to the apartment. The apartment is less than 5 mins walk to the beach & all amenities, including restaurants, supermarket, internet cafe, bank, car hire, taxi rank.
The apartment is new only completed Mar 07. The apartment is finished to a very high standard. includes hot & cold air conditioning, luxury fitted kitchen & bathroom complete with jacuzzi bath. the apartment is spacious & has large patio ideal for taking breakfast in the early morning sun. Main pool & gated childs pool. Secure parking available with electric gates to private underground garage.
Very flexible accommodation sleeping upto six, travel cot & toddler air bed available. Double bed, two singles & double sofa bed. NB: Additional one bed apartment next door but one available for larger parties (Ref:28822).

Less than 5 mins from the beach. Swimming pool & childs pool on same level as apartment, however all fenced off Y childs pool is gated. Showers & toilets available by pool. Real sun trap, reclining chairs available for use by pool / beach. Large patio complete with patio table & chairs, ideal for breakfast with the morning sun.
Further details
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. The remainder is payable 8 weeks prior to beginning of holiday.
A separate refundable 'breakage deposit' of £100 pound sterling will be required, which will be refunded following your stay & return of keys. The property will be cleaned at the end of your stay and this is included within the rental rates.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony, respect other potential guests.

The Costa Del Sol welcomes more than two million people a year who arrive at Malaga international airport and head to one of the many resorts located along this stretch of coastline from Gibraltar in the west to Nerja in the east.
The most well known resorts lie west of Malaga beginning with Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Mijas Costa. Further along the coast lies Marbella with its famous marina at Puerto Banus, Estepona, Sotogrande and finally Gibraltar.
With the Costa del Sol weather giving average annual temperatures of 18ºC and over 300 days of sunshine per year it isn't difficult to understand why it is one of Europe's top holiday destinations.
There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which can be played all year round as well as a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, dolphin safaris, etc. The list is endless.
Away from the coast there are numerous excursions into the real Spain with the cities of Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Granada all accessible for day tours. For the more adventurous you can also take a 15km trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to visit Tangier in Morocco.
The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area
Benalmadena has almost 10km of blue flag beaches, some of which are in delightful small coves. The cleanliness of the beaches is surprising and with sun loungers and shades available for rent all the way along the front you are spoilt for choice on where to relax. The Apartment is only 200 meters from the beach.
The marina of Benalmadena Costa is the focal point for Benalmadena's social scene and has been tastefully developed. This is a 20 min walk along the promenade from the apartment. It can handle more than 1,000 boats & yachts of all types and is central to the resort. From the marina you can walk all the way along a flat promenade to Torremolinos, with plenty of bars and restaurants on the way. In fact, you'll find all the eating out options you'd expect of an established resort; from fish and chip shops to quaint tapas bars and plenty of restaurants with an international theme.
There's plenty entertainment to amuse the whole family. Tivoli World amusement park in nearby Arroyo de la Miel has Wild West and flamenco shows and a cable-car ride to the mountain top, there are the usual breath taking rides for the younger ones & a lovely area for the smaller ones with quaint carousels. This is a great evening out & has plenty of eating places & a short taxi ride 5 mins. Equally popular are the Selwo Marina Dolphinarium (10 mins walk) and the Sealife Centre at marina, which has the biggest shark collection in Europe. There are water-sports facilities at the yacht club and plenty of golf courses in the vicinity. By night there is no end of bars and nightclubs to while away the hours.
Above Benalmadena Costa on the side of the mountain is Benalmadena Pueblo, which is still an attractive old Spanish village with the typical whitewashed houses on cobbled streets..
La Paloma Park 10 minute walk away is a beautiful park, where animals are roaming freely, rabits, chickens, peacocks. The park has three bar's / cafe's where you can stop and take in the beautiful views with a glass of wine or just a coffee. There are children's play areas within the park, a lovely place to have a picnic when you want a break from the beach.
Indoor ice skating, swimming pool & gymnasium, located in Arroyo de la Miel (Club de Hielo) about a 15/20 minute walk. There is a large water park in Torremolinos short taxi ride.
Malaga city is 30 minutes by train from Arroyo de la Miel station, 15/20 minute walk.
Marbella & Puerto Banus being 20 minutes drive away.
Gibraltar is approximately one hour by car from Benalmadena.
Weekly markets in Arroyo de la Miel, Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

Numerous Low Cost Airlines fly to Malaga from all over the UK and Europe and real bargains can be found if you book early.
Once at Malaga Airport, a taxi will take you to Benalmadena in 15/20 minutes and should cost between 23/25 Euros, depending on the time of day or night. There also many car hire companies with offices in the airport.
Alternatively the coastal train stops right at the airport and takes 20-25 minutes to El Pinillo Station which is just short taxi ride, 5 mins from the apartment.

Stayed for two weeks Jul/Aug with my partner and two teenage girls and this place had it all. The facilities were fabulous especially if you wanted to bring out dinky dots as it was all there including bottles, cot, pushchair, toys and even sticker books. Sad as it was because we were on holiday but I was so grateful for the TV as it meant we were also able to watch the Olympics too! So now I don't feel so bad leaving the UK on such a prestigious occasion whilst also getting a suntan! We didn't really use the pool very much as we were with friends whose pool was massive in comparison. The ONLY real negative about the pool is the fact that the shallow end came up to the top of my chest and I'm 5' 4", so unless the kids want to tread water non-stop that was a downside. However, we were fine with that and it was incredibly quiet for our whole two weeks. The other reviews have said it all and I concur. It is definitely an apartment I would recommend. Thanks for a great stay. The Mackintoshes Response: The pool's shallow end is around about 4ft in depth, enabling guests to use the entire pool for swimming. Within the apartment there are plenty of inflatables, that guests can make full use of. Our children are 8 & 6 and spend most of their time, jumping in and bobbing around on inflatables. For small children there is a splash pool, seperated from the main pool and for those with active lively youngsters (as we once had) we are only a few minutes from the beach, whereby you can use the beach chairs, umbrella, buckets and spades provided and even take the coolbag down for a family day out at the beach. Although not a necessity as there is a McDonalds a stones throw away from the beach, have treated the kids to McDonalds on the beach many times. |

The apartment is in a residential area,just behind a main road.My wife and I stayed for a week from 13th to 20th June 2012. The location is great,close to all that Benalmadena has to offer,but quiet enough for complete relaxation.It is 5 minutes walk from a very good quality supermarket,and less than that to the beach. There are too many bars ,shops ,and restaurants to mention,some to suit all tastes and pockets.The fresh seafood restaurants are plentiful and great quality. The marina is about 20-25 minutes easy walk away,and is an absolute pleasure,with lots of shops,bars and restaurants,and a wonderful view of the sea/beach along the way. The apartment itself has everything anyone could need,exactly as the described on holiday lettings.It was spotlessly clean when we arrived,and surprisingly roomy even with 4 adults in it. The pool isn,t massive,but again very clean.We swam in it every afternoon .It gets the sun on it from about midday to 6 pm. We would reccommend this apartment this apartment to anyone wanting a roomy 2 bedroom ,close to all amenities,and allready planning our return. |
