About the home

This privately owned holiday flat is situated in the centre of Benalmadena Costa, on the 10th floor of a block right next to the marina and only 50 metres from the beach. There is no road to cross to get to the beach, a pathway leads directly onto the promenade. It has a magnificent large swimming pool set in a lovely garden with many trees, and overlooking the beach. There is a also a small children's pool and a play area. The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed. The living room has a sofa bed which makes a double, and there is a fitted kitchen with microwave and full oven, and fully tiled bathroom. with washing machine. Two sets of bedlinen are supplied and two bath towels. The flat is ideal for two but can sleep up to four for a small extra charge. We have another very similar apartment close by. The special offer for Aug/Sept refers to this apartment. (Please ask for photos) The availability chart reflects the vacancies in both of them. The Diana apartment is well located, with both a bus stop and taxi rank right outside the building, and a good supermarket and bakery across the road, and banks, post office, car rental, exchange, tourist office all within 100 metres of the block.

Changeovers can be any day of the week, and you do not have to book full weeks, (although one week is the minimum booking.) Divide by seven for the daily rate.

Normally the apartments are available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Arrangements can be made to leave suitcases while the flat is being cleaned. Whenever possible we try to make an exception to this rule for the convenience of guests, depending on arrival and departure times. For this reason it is most important to let us know these as soon as you have them.

To make a provisional booking, you should email us to find out if the dates you require are available. We can hold the dates for you while you look for a flight. To make a confirmed booking, you pay a deposit of one third of the total cost. The balance is due six weeks before your holiday.

On receipt of the full amount we will send you the keys to the apartment and directions to give the taxi driver at the airport. We will give you the name and telephone number of the person who will be managing the apartment.

Conditions

A third of the total is required on booking, with the balance payable one month before your holiday. On receipt of this we will post you the keys, and directions to give the taxi driver at the airport.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol is an ideal area for holidays, whether for beaches, night life, or just soaking up the sun. The temperatures in the winter are the best in Europe, and the weather in April May June and October is pretty near perfect. From your base in Benalmadena Costa, there are an enormous number of excursions, to Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Gibraltar, Ronda etc, and only half an hour away by bus is the beautiful Spanish city of Malaga, such a contrast to the cosmopolitan tourist area on the coast.

Benalamadena Costa is well known for its attractions, there is so much to see and do. Its is famous for the beautiful marina which is packed with boutiques and restaurants, and is a wonderful place to stroll around by day or at night. Apart from the beaches, there is a beautiful park with a lake and a wonderful variety of flora and fauna, a paradise for children with rabbits and ducks to feed, amongst many other animals. There is a cable car to the top of the mountain with amazing views, Tivoli world entertainment park, two aquaparks, an aquatic park, and a dolphinarium with daily shows of dolphins, penquins on ice etc. The paseo (promenade) stretches for 9 kilometres along the beach to the east of the marina, and about 2 kilometres on the west side. A gate and pathway lead directly from the Diana II garden on to this promenad

“Wonderful holiday in Diana II” The apartment was clean and fitted out to a very standard.The large pool is situated in a well kept garden which is ideally suited for sunbathing or lazing about.The booking process was simple. This was largely due to the owner Mrs.Pennell answering my e-mails promptly. On paying the balance of the rent I received the keys by post within a week. All in all our stay was very enjoyable.Would I go again? Yes please!

Friends and I have booked accommodation in Benalmadena with Mrs Pinnell for over 10 years and have stayed at various properties, all thoroughly recommended.
My favourite is at Diana II as this small apartment is a few minutes from the sea, has lovely gardens and a swimming pool and is central for the shops, buses and taxis.
Mr and Mrs Pinnell are always helpful and welcoming which makes holidaying troublefree and enjoyable.
