About the home

A great apartment for relaxing, family holidays, or for just having a good time with friends & family, soaking in the Costa del Sol. The property is a1 bedroom apartment, complete with a walk-in shower in the bathroom, very large bedroom with built-in wardrobes, large and bright lounge with a sofa-bed and with an open plan kitchen with everything needed to cook a 3 course meal if wished. There is a balcony with great views over the gardens, pool area, La Paloma Park and the rest of the coast of Benalmádena. There is a gym downstairs (pay for use), 24 hours reception, one of the best swimming pool complexes on the coast with slides and great gardens for soaking in the sun. During the summer months, there is a poolside bar serving snacks and drinks.

It has everything there is to have in a modern kitchen, sofa-bed sleeping up to 2 people, dinning area, table and chairs on the balcony, 2 single beds in the bedroom and a complete bathroom with walk-in shower. Just been renovated and fully furnished in December 2011.

The complex has enormous gardens for strolling around or just laying in the sun reading a book while the children have fun in the pool. The pool area has bar facilities in the summer months surving snacks and drinks. There is a 24 hours concierge, as well as hairdressers and gym. (both pay for use). The apartment complex is situated right between the center of town and beach, making it a 5 minute walk to and from both the center and the beach. There are loads of restaurants & bars in the nearby Plaza Bonanza, one of the most sort after areas for holidaymakers in Benalmadena, there are supermarkets, shops, taxis and buses right by the from door of the complex. Great location and a great little apartment

The Costa del Sol region

Benalmadena is the best place on the Costa del Sol. It boasts the best Marina, wonderful beaches and more attractions than any other resort. Of course the sunshine is the same all along the coast, but only 15 mins from the airport makes Benalmadena more attractive than a long ride to Marbella or Nerja.

The Benalmadena / Arroyo de la Miel area

Local attractions include:
- Sealife in the Marina, all kinds of sea life including sharks
- Selwo Marina. Dolphin shows, also Sealions, penguins parrots and amazing gardens
- Paloma Park, beautiful lake and gardens full of wildlife and fauna
- Tivoli world. A fun time for all the family in this Theme Park. Also Sunday market.
- Cable Car. The cable car takes you to the top of the highest peak for breathtaking views.
- Birds of Prey shows and donkey rides are available at the top.
- Buddhist Temple
- New in 2006 an open top double decker "City Bus" to take you to all the places of interest
- New 2007. Ice rink and indoor swimming pool
Trips to other places of interest are easily arranged. For example, Granada, Gibraltar, Seville and Cordoba to mention just a few.

Flights to Malaga airport are available from most UK airports. From there it is only 15mins by car or taxi to the apartment. Trains are also connecting every 30 mins with Arroyo de la Miel and a short taxi ride later you are applying your sun cream ready to enjoy your holiday in the sun.
