Home description

Benalmadena is roughly 10-15 minutes from Malaga airport.

Flight time from London is just over 2 hours and 2½ hours from Manchester.

Our light and airy apartment is in a block of only 8 apartments and is 3 floors up from ground level (no lift), has 2 bedrooms sleeping up to four people, with additional room available with use of the Sofa Bed (can sleep 2 adults), plus cot hire.

The apartment commands stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea and Benalmadena Marina dont forget your binoculars.!, has a communal garden, situated less than 5 minutes walk from Bonanza Square and 2 minutes walk from Flamingo Square.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Lying in the foothills of Sierra de Mijas, Benalmadena enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and constantly mild temperatures due to the influence of the Mediterranean Sea.

Benalmadena Costa boasts a beautiful beach stretching for almost 10 kilometres and what is claimed to be one of the best Marinas in the world. Here, there are over 1000 berths and 200 shops, bars, restaurants, plus a new shopping centre. The architecture has Andalucian, Arabian and Indian influences. It is an attractive place to visit both during the day and at night.

The playgrounds of the rich and famous, Marbella and Puerto Banus, are only twenty minutes away by road, and the Rock of Gibraltar can be reached in an hour.

There are dozens of excellent golf courses in the area, with the world famous Torrequebrada course only ten minutes away.

Cable car to the peak of Monte Calamorro at 725 metres, here you can see an eagle & horse show, the cable car takes 12 minutes and is located in Arroyo de la Miel 10 minutes away.

10 minutes from the world famous Torrequebrada Golf Course.

Malaga city is 30 minutes by train from Arroyo de la Miel station, 10 minute walk.

Marbella & Puerto Banus being 20 minutes away.

Gibraltar is approximately one hour by car from Benalmadena.

Ronda approx one hour by car.

Hot/cold air conditioning throughout provided on a meter system. 1 Euro for 2 hours approx.

Benalmadena is between the popular resorts of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. It is comprised of three distinct areas - Benalmadena Pueblo, the original village in the hills, Arroyo de la Miel, a bustling town of shops and businesses, and Benalmadena Costa, the vibrant area built up along the coastline.

Conditions

We welcome couples, mature persons, Golfing Groups and families with well behaved children only please. Good behaviour is expected. Sorry no young singles/groups.

No more than six people should reside in the apartment during the rental period.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and completed booking form, dates will not be held without these. We regret the deposit is not refundable in the event of a cancellation by you. This must be signed by the lead name who is responsible for payment of the final balance. We will send you a receipt, upon cleared funds, within 7 working days and confirmation of the final balance due date, which is payable 6 weeks before your departure. (Bookings made within six weeks of arrival will require full payment in advance).

An information pack with local info and excursions can be found in the apartment.

Information on key collection/entry will be sent along with directions and information on the apartment. This will be posted separately, once the final balance has been paid.

A security deposit of €225 or £150.00, is required to cover breakages, cleaning excess and loss of keys.
The deposit is payable with the final balance. The security deposit will be refunded in full, subject to any damages or breakages to the apartment, and return of the keys, being paid for. A cheque will be returned to the Lead Name on the Booking Form, within 10 days of departure from the apartment.

Deposit, Security Deposit, Final Balance and full payment can be made in a number of ways;

Paypal (but this does incurr a surcharge).

The owners will not be held liable for travel cancellations or delays, or for theft, damage to personal property, personal injury or losses of any kind during your stay.

Only those named on the booking form are allowed to stay in the apartment. Name changes maybe made if agreed with the owner prior to arrival at the apartment.
Under no circumstances will persons under the age of 21, be allowed to reside at the apartment without parental/adult supervision.

Check-in/out:

Flexible arrival and departure days.

Changeover day is flexible. Check-in 4pm and check-out 10.00am, however we maybe flexible on times. Luggage may be left inside the apartment, if your flight arrives before 4pm. Please contact our representative in Spain on arrival for more info.

What a wonderful introduction to my wife's first time abroad, it took us a day or so to get our bearings but after that we all had a wonderful time and managed to see most of Benalmadena. The apartment was absolutely first class, clean, tidy and the view was spectacular just sad we had to come back just as we were getting use to being relaxed. You certainly will see us again and if possible it will be for a longer stay next time. 4 Oct 08
