About the home

Newly decorated, our 2 bedroom apartment is in a block of only 8 apartments and is 3 floors up from ground level (no lift). it has a sunny south facing terrace with stunning views over the Mediterranean sea and Marina. It can accommodate up to 6 people with use of a double sofabed (which can sleep 2 adults) a cot is available for £10pw. The apartment also benefits from hot and cold air-conditioning throughout. We welcome families, couples, mature persons & golfing groups. The apartment is situated in the heart of the resort, with all amenities (marina, beaches, restaurants etc) within a 5 minute walk.

Our apartment is 2 minutes from a popular hotel complex which has many facilities including a restaurant, bar and swimming pool including children's pool. This is open 365 days a year. In the other direction Bonanza Square is less than a 8 minute walk away with shops, bars and restaurants.

Due to the apartments central situation in Benalmadena, you may find that a car is not necessary unless of course you plan to travel around the Costa del Sol.

The apartment is fully furnished and the accommodation offers:

Double Bedroom with built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables & bedside lamps.
Twin Bedroom with built-in wardrobes, bedside cabinet & bedside lamp.
Large living room with dining table and 6 chairs, Sat TV (free sat channels), two sofa's one being a sofa bed which comfortably sleeps two people. A patio door leads from the lounge onto the south facing balcony.
Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, hob, microwave/oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge/freezer.
Bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and Bidet.

Hot/cold air conditioning throughout provided on a meter system. 1 Euro for 1 hour approx, which can be paused when not in use.

- The closest supermarket is a 5 minute walk up the hill from the apartment.
- Smoke Alarm & Carbon-Monoxide Alarm fitted.
- 24 hour medical centre close by.
- Buses opposite apartment run to Benalmadena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Mijas.

Parental supervision is strongly recommended at all times on the balcony.

Directions and information on the apartment will be posted separately, once the final balance has been paid and cleared into our UK bank account. Keys will be posted approx 2 weeks before your holiday to an address in the UK & Ireland only (Overseas clients, pls see Meet and Greet below) unless you specifically request the meet and greet service, please see below.

Meet and Greet Service ** Optional **

Clients wishing to use our meet and greet service will be charged 20.00 Euros. After 7pm this will increase to 30.00 Euros, this is to cover charges for late call out. This is payable locally to our representative in Spain on arrival at the apartment.

Conditions

We welcome families, couples, mature persons & golfing groups.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and completed booking form, dates will not be held without these. This must be signed by the lead name who is responsible for payment of the final balance. We will send you a receipt, upon cleared funds, within 7 working days and confirmation of the final balance due date, which is payable 6 weeks before your departure. (Bookings made within six weeks of arrival will require full payment in advance).

A security deposit of €225 or £150.00, is required to cover breakages, cleaning excess and loss of keys.
The deposit is payable with the final balance. The security deposit will be refunded in full, subject to any damages or breakages to the apartment, and return of the keys, being paid for. A cheque will be returned to the Lead Name on the Booking Form, within 10 days of departure from the apartment.

Deposit, Security Deposit, Final Balance and full payment can be made in a number of ways;

GBP Transfer
Paypal (but this does incurr a surcharge).

The owners will not be held liable for travel cancellations or delays, or for theft, damage to personal property, personal injury or losses of any kind during your stay.

Check-in/out:

Flexible arrival and departure days.

Check-in 4pm and check-out 10.00am, we maybe flexible on times if there are no back to back bookings. Luggage may be left inside the apartment, if your flight arrives before 4pm. Please contact our representative in Spain on arrival for more info.

The Costa del Sol region

Lying in the foothills of Sierra de Mijas, Benalmadena enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and constantly mild temperatures due to the influence of the Mediterranean Sea.

Benalmadena is between the popular resorts of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Benalmadena Costa boasts a beautiful beach stretching for almost 10 kilometres and what is claimed to be one of the best Marinas in the world. Here, there are over 1000 berths and 200 shops, bars, restaurants, plus a new shopping centre. The architecture has Andalucian, Arabian and Indian influences. It is an attractive place to visit both during the day and at night.

The playgrounds of the rich and famous, Marbella and Puerto Banus, are only twenty minutes away by road, Ronda and the Rock of Gibraltar can be reached in an hour.

There are dozens of excellent golf courses in the area, with the world famous Torrequebrada course only ten minutes away.

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area

The world famous Benalmadena Marina 10 minutes walk away with restaurants, bars, shops and the sea life centre. Selwo Marine Park, located at La Paloma Park less than a 10 minute walk away. Tivoli World is a large attraction park this is located in Arroyo de la Miel, which can be reached by bus 10 minutes away. Here you can take a cable car to the peak of Monte Calamorro at 725 metres. Weekly markets in Arroyo de la Miel, Torremolinos and Fuengirola.

Our apartment is in walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, banks, internet cafe, ice skating, indoor swimming pool and gym located in Arroyo de la Miel (Club de Hielo) about a 10 minute walk.

Benalmadena is roughly 10-15 minutes from Malaga airport.

Flights to Malaga are availablea year round from most UK airports and many mainland European airports. Monarch Airlines, Jet2, Easyjet, Bmibaby, British Airways, Flybe, Ryanair and many other airlines all fly here.
Flight times from the UK are usually between 2 and 2½ hours for direct flights.

For transfers to and from the airport a personal pickup and drop off service is available on request, at an additional cost..

“Great Appartment, Great View, Great Value” This appartment is everything it says it is and more. It is very spacious and very convenient for everything. It has a beautiful view from the balcony and is very peaceful with a table and plenty of chairs. There are bars and restaurants very close by and we had lovely tapas in a small spanish bar a few paces from the appartment. The air conditioning unit was brilliant and 1 euro was enough to take the chill off the appartment in the early morning and late evening. The buses are literally just accross the road making visits to Mijas etc very easy and cheap. We also used the train station which is about a 10 or 15 mins walk uphill but still a nice walk and you if dont fancy the walk for 4 or 5 euros a taxi will take you there. I would thoroughly recommend this appartment as it is very central yet quiet.

Discounts available for bookings of 2 weeks or more. (This discount does not apply to 5th/6th person supplements).

Letting periods which straddle two price months will be pro-rota. We ONLY charge for the days you are in residence, if your stay is for 7 nights or more.

We also offer late availability discounts were applicable, short breaks (not peak season). Discount for long winter lets are also available, please enquire for our best price.
