About the home

South facing 2 bedroom apartment with beautiful sea views. Built and stylishly furnished, this ground floor apartment benefits from roadside parking and a large terrace overlooking the garden. The complex has a large communal pool and barbecue area. Very private and close to Torrequebrada golf course the apartment is convenient for nearby beaches, bars and restaurants. Close to Torrequebrada Hotel and Casino.

This property combines the best of both worlds in that it is ideal for families or couples looking for a relaxing getaway but is close enough to beaches and lively towns for those looking for a bit more adventure. After a hard day at the beach or shopping, dine on the beautiful large balcony, relax in the cool and inviting lounge or rejuvinate after a night out on the town with a refreshing morning dip. No carrying of bottled water as mains water filter is over kitchen sink for drinking water and making tea/coffee.

Marble floors throughout apartment. All new furniture and fittings. Well equipped with crockery and cutlery as well as a range of cooking utensils and pans. Daikin Air Conditioning/Heating units in Lounge and Main Bedroom superbly keep the interior temperatues as selected and desired.

On the apartment rear terrace there are two comfortable sun loungers, two washing airers & two small tables.

Near to the swimming pool area there is a communal barbecue, plus in a separate location close by ladies & gents toilets, changing rooms and showers.

The Costa del Sol region

With the best climate in Spain the Costa del Sol is a favourite holiday location. Torrequebrada is ideal for exploring local countryside/mountains around the Mijas and Nerja areas. The nearby championship Golf course at Torrequebrada is worthy of note and the Casino is a great place for trying your luck and you can also enjoy the highly recommended Flamenco dancers and caberet show. (You need to pre book). Mijas village is a short distance away and a popular place to visit. Take a stroll amongst the splendid scenery with many shops, cafes and bars in which to shop, eat, drink and be merry! In the summer usually at Mijas at around midday on Wednesdays there is a Flamenca dancing show and free glass of wine to be had!! For a really great night out why not visit the popular Mijas Playa restaurant and cocktail lounge and nearby La Cala. You can enjoy a pre dinner drink then have a delicious meal and dance to a great pianist. Further afield other places well worth exploring are Marbella, Puerto Banus, Malaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada (Alhambra Palace).

The Benalmadena / Torrequebrada area

Benalmadena Costa with its own lovely sandy beach with lots of good bars, cafes and restaurants. Torrequebrada has its own casino & golf course and restaurants. About 10 minutes walk there is Mercadona supermarket that opened new at the end of March 2010, which is very handy for buying all your groceries and provisions. It is only approximately 10 minutes drive to Benalmadena Marina where you will find many bars, restaurants and Seaworld for the kids. Nearby are the lively towns of Fuengirola and Torremolinos. There are regular buses into Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Malaga.

There is a local market every Friday at the local town of Arroyo de la Miel from where you can take a cable car to the mountain peaks. There is also Tivoili Amusement Park which is very popular with locals and tourists and great fun for all ages. There are water parks at nearby Torremolinus & Fuengirola, a must for the young and young at heart! Just a few restaurants particularly worth trying are Spanish Garden at Torremolinos, Sizzlyns Steak House, at Fuengirola and The Pasodoble at Benalmadena Costa. All serve excellent food.

There are many airlines that run a regular service to and from Malaga Airport. Easyjet, Thomson, Iberia, Monarch, British Airways and Jet2 to name but a few.

Approximate flying time from the UK is 2hrs 30 minutes.

Drive time from Malaga Airport to apartment is approximately 25 minutes.
