Located in the prestigious 'La Capellania' urbanisation within walking distance of the beautiful white village of Benalmadena Pueblo. It is literally a stones throw to the bus stop and a couple of minutes walk to the new shopping centre by the entrance to the urbanisation. Here you will find a large Carrefour supermarket, a bank, newsagents/ booksellers, tapas bar, dry cleaners, internet café, excellent Indian restaurant and stylish Spanish bar/ restaurant.
Benalmadena Costa and Fuengirola are only a short drive or bus ride as are Mijas and the aqua parks. Malaga, with its beautiful cathedral and Picasso museum is less than half an hour and the local train service is excellent as well as inexpensive.
1000 square meters of beautifully manicured gardens including a fabulous west facing swimming pool with walk in steps attracting all day sun adorn this property. There is also a covered patio and ample shaded areas for those wishing to escape the heat of the midday sun. The private drive has parking for up to 4 cars and is secured by electronically controlled gates.
The south/ south west-facing garden has great views of the Mediterranean. as well as an amazing back drop of the mountains. Sun-loungers are provided on the terrace for your comfort and relaxation as well as a barbecue dining table & chairs all that is important for carefree al-fresco dining.

The beauty of this villa is that there are no stairs, everything is on one level so no need to worry about young children, elderly relatives or anyone with restricted mobility.
The villa is entered via a large private drive secured by electronically operated gates. The hallway leads through to a large tastefully furnished marble floored open plan lounge and dining room. The lounge patio doors open out onto a furnished covered arched patio which gives way to the garden/pool and fabulous sea views. There is a second terrace which is accessed from the dining room patio doors. There is a log burner which is great for winter bookings. The large flat screen tv shows all the usual free to view channels that you would expect as in the uk plus there is a dvd player available with a selection of DVD's.
There is a band new 14ft kitchen just installed new for 2013 with all the mod cons you would expect at home including a large american style fridge/freezer, dish washer and washing machine. Photos on site soon.
For your comfort 3 of the 4 bedrooms are carpeted and all are fitted with new windows complete with mosquito nets and aircon. Two of the bedrooms have TV's.

There are over 1000m2 of beautifully well kept gardens which are a major feature of the villa and are full of mature plants/colourful flowers, palm trees and lemon trees. At night the scent of La Dame de Noche (Jasmine to you and me) is truly amazing.
The large swimming pool with walk in steps is on the west hand side of the villa, therefore attracting all day sun.
Sun loungers and parasols are provided around the pool for your comfort.
There is a covered terrace furnished with attractive patio furniture and a second terrace off of the dining room complete with dining table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining.
A BBQ is supplied.

The Costa del Sol reputed to being one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world is translated as the coast of sun benefiting from approx 320 days of sunshine per year there are miles of safe sandy beaches an abundance of fantastic golf courses and of course the snow caped mountains of Sierra Nevada. Whether relaxing on the beach, sightseeing, fishing or shopping the Costa del Sol has something to offer to young and old alike.
The area is steeped in history dating back before the Greeks, Romans and Moors. If you are looking for the real Spain, you don't have to travel far. El Chorro salt water lakes where Von Ryans Express was filmed is beautiful and only approximately an hours drive. The beautiful city of Malaga is within easy access by road or train about half an hours journey, here you will find the Picasso museum, cathedral, an abundance of shops to suit every taste and wonderful restaurants from Tapas bars to Al a Carte.
The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Pueblo area
Benalmádena has become a firm family favourite holiday destination over the years, primarily because of its fantastic climate, safe sandy beaches, abundance of restaurants and entertainment to suit all ages.
The white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo with its narrow streets lined by orange trees and overflowing with exquisite vividly coloured flowers is within walking distance. The Plaza de España is at the heart of the Pueblo and has cafés, restaurants, craft and souvenir shops, this opens out onto the prettiest cobbled square complete with a fountain and statue of a young girl,(La Nina) the symbol of Benalmadena. in the centre.
The square has numerous restaurants and is a really relaxing people watch place, perfect for lunch or dinner or just to sit and simply enjoy a drink. This too is where a lot of colourful processions congregate for spains many festivals. Walk through the other side of the square to one of the oldest churches and the most breathtaking views over the costa.
For the children, Tivoli World a Spanish theme park is just a short bus ride at Arroyo de la Miel. Here you will find an array of breathtaking rides, flamenco shows etc. For those with a head for heights, why not take the cable car up to the top of the mountain where you can watch the birds of prey show and take in the breathtaking views.
Within a couple of minutes walking distance of the villa is the Altos del Higueron shopping centre which has a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, an Italian restaurant which has superb pizzas to eat in or take away. Then there is the Taberna del Frasco bar, a dry cleaners, internet café, excellent Indian restaurant, hairdressers and the very stylish 'Punto Rojo' restaurant and bar. All the restaurants and bars have tables and chairs on the pavement so you can sit and sip your 'mojito' whilst watching the world go by.
Paloma Park again only a short distance away is beautifully landscaped with a lake and fountains, there you will find chickens, rabbits and even peacocks all roaming freely. It is also the home to Selwo Marine Park where you can spend a day watching more than 2000 semi free roaming animals, penguins, flamingos and watching the fantastic exotic bird show, dolphon and sealion shows..
There are two excellent water parks in the area which are easily accessible and an excellent fun day out for all the family.
On the beach there are many water sporting activities that you can participate in and for the daredevils why not try your hand at paragliding . If your a keen angler there are many good fishing spots close by also organised sea fishing trips from the Marina and Port at Fuengirola.
Bored with sunning yourself on the beach? Then why not take a boat trip, there are many operating throughout the day from the Marina.
Throughout this area there are many pretty white villages like Benalmadena Pueblo, where you will find the more traditional Spain. Mijas Pueblo can be reached by bus and is well worth a visit. As well as a bull ring, beautiful churches and breathtaking views over the costa, there are lots of souvenir shops and many authentic restaurants offering tapas, paella and local dishes.
If you want to venture a little further a trip to Gibraltor takes approx 1hour
Restaurants:
Benalmadena Pueblo has a wide range of excellent restaurants ranging from non expensive Tapas bars to wonderful spanish and english restaurants serving non expensive set meals as well as al la carte menus.
One of the many attractions is the range and diversity of both cafes and restaurants where you can eat a hearty English breakfast for less than 5 euros and enjoy the traditional Menu del Dia (3 course menu of the day) for about 7.50 euros.
Fish Alley in Fuengirola again only a short drive is a hive of activity in the evenings, having every type of restaurant including some with live music and many bars and clubs.
The Village of Arroyo de la Miel just a short bus or train ride away is always buzzing no matter what time of year,it has many cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets and lots of shops to browse.
Shopping:
The new Miramar shopping mall in Fuengirola situated on two floors has an array of shops including many fashion stores, shoe shops, household ,furniture and hypermarket there are also many restaurants plus a multi screen cinema showing both Spanish and English films.
Plaza Mayor an outdoor complex located between Torremolinos and Malaga (approx 20 mins on the train ) is buzzing during the summer months there you will find many types of designer shops and dozens of restaurants and bars with various themes as well as a multi screen cinema.
Torremolinos & Fuengirola are easily accessible by bus or train and are always buzzy no matter what time of year. Both have numerous shops including some well known high street names, wonderful restaurants of all descriptions and some great Tapas Bars.
There are two markets, the largest in Fuengirola on Tuesdays and the other in Arroyo de la Miel on Fridays, both worth a visit.
Malaga approx 30 mins away by train is the capital of Andalucia and has a multitude of attractions for the sightseer and the shopper. There is a magnificent Cathedral, art galleries including the Picasso museum, designer shops and departmental stores as well as hundreds of bars and restaurants offering fantastic tapas,paella as well as many other authentic restaurants.

Fly to Malaga which is approximately 2 1/2 hours flight from the UK and covered by most of the budget airlines. On arrival we can reserve a taxi to pick you up and take you directly to the villa which is approximately a 15 minutes drive. If you are hiring a car you will be sent directions from the airport to the villa, (it is a very easy straightforward journey) you will be met at the villa by our English speaking representative who will show you around the villa and be able to answer any questions relating to the villa or surrounding area.

Excellent villa with pool, view of the sea and lovely gardens. The villa was spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very clean and lovely decor. Food shopping was walking distance away, as was bars and cafes. Well appointed with only a 5 minute drive to a vibrant town in one direction and beautiful villages in other directions, as well as the beaches. Would definitely go again. |
