What a shame that you feel so aggrieved at paying 30 euros for damage caused that you feel the need to discredit the villa, especially as before the damage to the wardrobe was noted you were all so full of praise for everything. However, I am very sorry if this has spoilt your holiday in anyway as my only concern for all my guests is to have a wonderful relaxed holiday with nothing but good memories.
I will try to address the points you make.
1. I'm not quite sure why you suggested that there was a fault with the wardrobe mechanism as the wardrobe is relatively new, has always worked perfectly and as you are aware worked perfectly well during your stay. It was only on your vacation of the villa that the door was found to be damaged and unable to be opened. It was necessary to employ a workmen to repair the damage at the cost of 30 euros which was then deducted from your deposit. I have merely passed on the charge paid by myself for the repair.
2. 'Noise' There is some work taking place at the moment, they are building a new wall at the entrance to the Urbanisation which is now almost complete. Unfortunately I have no jurisdiction over works that are undertaken outside of my home and grounds. However, I will add that I stayed at the villa myself the week prior to your arrival and was not aware of any undue noise.
3. Contrary to your comments regarding notices about leaving the villa clean, there are no notices whatsoever in the property regarding cleanliness. There is a clause in my terms of business which I send at time of booking, which states that if the villa is left in such a bad state where there is excessive mess that it takes the cleaners longer than usual to clean, there will be a charge of £10 p.h.
4. With regards to ' a snake', In all the timee I have owned the villa I have never seen a snake although they do exist here as well as in the uk.. However, I will investigate.
5. 'Security' Security all over Spain and probably most countries these days is absolutely necessary. I take pride in the knowledge that I have done everything possible to safeguard my property and my guests in order to make their stay carefree. Nobody has ever complained that the fact the villa is alarmed and secure is off putting.
6. Since your departure I have found that there seems to be a problem with the freezer (although you did not mention this to me at the time of your stay) I have installed a separate freezer whilst waiting for a part to repair the existing one.
7 With regard to the Sunbeds, I know a lot of owners don't supply mattresses because it is impossible to keep them clean throughout the season, they get stained with suntan lotion and kiddies ice cream and lollies etc. I took the decision to supply mattresses for the sunbeds as it makes them so much more comfortable and although I also supply beach towels to cover them it is impossible to avoid staining. All mattress are either washed or replaced at the end of the season.
My visits to the villa were solely in response to your calls in order to attend to your needs. As you yourself stated a couple of very minor problems were ironed out immediately. One only has to read all the other reviews for Villa Al Jazmine to see the necessity for one to read between the lines.

We stayed at Villa Al Jazmine for a week in September and from the moment we walked in the door felt at home, the view from the lounge window was breathtaking. The villa was lovely and clean, had everything we needed, [except nutcrackers to crack the claws on the crab] which we laughed at on our way back to the airport with Lynn.
We had mum with us who uses a wheelchair and with everything on one level made life very easy for her.
We will certainly be going back x

"Our Stay at Villa al Jazmine Benalmadena"
The location of the Villa was great as it was within easy reach of shops ,a bar, and one or two restaurants. The grounds were quite extensive with views of the sea to the front and the hills to the rear. Inside the lounge was large and comfortable as was the dining room. The kitchen was also large with a breakfast island and obviously had recently been refitted to a very high standard with little touches like a wine cooler and ice and water available from the front of the fridge. The bedrooms were of an adequate size with very efficient quiet air-conditioning available for one euro per 2 hours.

I have just returned from this beautiful Villa and could not fault it . The location is great with a supermarket within a minutes walk. Good bus service to Benalmadena , Mijas , Malaga etc . We took the bus most evenings to Benalmadena Pueblo which has great restaurants and bars but with a real spanish feel. The journey took 5 mins and cost 1.50 euros.
The villa itself is so peaceful with beautifully kept gardens and a pool to die for! Plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas plus outside eating/sitting areas. Inside, the new kitchen is simply stunning, well equiped and has all you could require, including ice maker and wine cooler!!
All in all couldn't recommend highly enough this little piece of paradise. Already booked for next year!
