About the home

An apartment with great views great pool and gardens and in the heart of Benalmadena Costa and in turn Benalmadena is in the heart of the Costa del Sol, near both Beach and Arroyo de la Miel, the station is a 10 -15 min walk away.

The climate here ranges from warm winters to hot summers tempered by the Mediterranean breezes. The property being a corner has morning sun on the balcony, great for breakfast and the front part for having lunch and sun bathing. The apt has a 24 hour reception great for security and they are there for any problems. Linen and towels are provided.

Benalmadena in the Costa del Sol is a maturing resort with its new parks and bustling squares so much to do and see you would need several visits to cover them all.The climate in the Costa del Sol is 2nd to none in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine and temperatures in the mild winters never falling much below 19c during the day.

Benalmadena Costa has many places nearby to go and see by train and Bus both inexpensive to use there is Malaga in one direction with routes to Granada/Cordoba and Seville and then theres Fuengirola to the west.

The front of Benalmadena has a long promenade which takes you into the World class marina and on to Torremolinos just great for those leisurely walks stopping at the many beachside cafes/bars and restaurants.

“Lovely little apartment, but in an aging building complex” Really enjoyed my brief stay at Hercules 209, in spite of the surprise of having to pay 4 euros for a sunbed at the pool, and the absence of internet (I ended up signing up for a week of Benawifi, which you can do if you can find a strong enough signal somewhere... I had to stand in the southwest corner of the bedroom for a working signal!). It's a 10 minute walk to the busy little shopping street of Arroyo de Miel, and 10 - 15 minute walk downhill to the beach. There's a major supermarket chain (Mercado) downhill about 5 minutes, as well as the lovely Paloma Park. The apartment is comfortable and nicely decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked. There's a small view of the sea, but no sunrise or sunset viewing, thanks to other apartment buildings blocking the view. As mentioned, it's an aging building, but the owners have really kept up the apartment itself. But during my stay there was a problem with the plumbing, which was a fairly big hiccup in my otherwise pleasant stay. Gill and Luke handled the situation very professionally and did everything they could to prevent me experiencing any inconvenience.

“Excelent apt, great position well equiped- Fantastic all round” I can not find fault was as pictured, the appartment was clean with ample towels and bed linned for our one week stay. While there is a charge for use of sun-beds around the pool Euro 4per bed, we managed to get full value from 11am when the pool opened until 7pm when the sun dissapears behind the building. The pool area was cleaned reguarly and there was a life guard at all times. Eating out, recommend the old town of Benalmadena as it offers better value than the restuants on the sea front. The beach is quite a walk, while down hill going there is easy, did not fancy the trek back in the day up the hill. Excelent supermarket closeby for all your needs. Will certainly lookforward to my next oportunity that I can get back to the Hurcules and enjoy another week relaxing with the family.

“every thing you need apartment” Me and the wife stayed for 2 weeks and the weather was great but the apartment made it all better with a large sunny balcony with sun from 9am to around 2pm. Hercules block was quiet there are 4 pools which are very good even though 2 pools were not opened at this time of year the only problem is that a sunbed for one person only costs 4 euros a day OK if you stay there all day but if you stay like us no more that 2 hours it is a bit expensive so we just sat in the really nice and spacious gardens. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here.

“Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Everything we could have wished for.” The apartment was beautifully presented, sparkling clean, and had everything available to make our stay enjoyable and fuss-free. The view from the balcony was fantastic, lush gardens surrounding the pools, the sea in one direction and the mountains in the other. This apartment is situated between the old town of Arroyo De La Miel, with restaurants, shops and banks etc, and the newer area along the seafront. The marina and beaches are close at hand, with numerous restaurants and bars in the vicinity, especially around the nearby Bonanza Square. It is also situated right next to the stunning Paloma Park It is a 20 minute maximum walk to anywhere, but you can buy anything you want within a few hundred yards. The standard of food in the nearby cafes and restaurants is also fantastic and great value for money. The apartment itself had everything we needed to cook on the few nights we stayed in. There is a tv and radio and even a DVD player to use. The standard of decor and fittings were superb, and although the weather was 25 degrees plus outside, we still felt at home. We will definitely be coming back here, and I would definitely recommend the apartment to family and friends.
