The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol has a wonderful climate - sunny and hot for the spring and summer months, and mild during the winter - the perfect year round holiday destination. There is plenty to see and do - or just relax on the golden sands! Why not take a visit to nearby places of interest in Andalucia - Granada with the Alhambra Palace, Sevilla and its magnificent cathedral, or Ronda with its huge cliffs and spectacular drawbridge. Perhaps you like sport? Well, there are lots of watersports to try, and golf as well, across the Costa. Or if you just fancy lazing with a book soaking up the rays, taking a quiet dip, then heading out in the evening for a nice meal or to a few bars, the Costa del Sol has it all. It won't let you down!
The Benalmadena / Arroyo de la Miel area
Arroyo de la Miel is a wonderful destination - vibrant and lively with its well known Bonanza Square mixed in with the laid back atmosphere of the Mediterranean. It has lovely restaurants and bars to choose from, and is the perfect place to soak up those rays of sunshine.
In Benalmadena you can enjoy Tivoli World - a "Disney Style" Amusement Park, take a cable car ride to the top of a mountain! or go to the ultra modern Marina area to see the Sea Life Aquarium and Selwo Marina (sealife outdoor Marina).
This area caters for all tastes and ages, you will never be hard pressed to find something to do, and if you want to stretch further afield, you can get a day trip to Gibraltar, Morocco, the caves in Nerja, Marbella, Malaga (Picasso Museum), Mijas, and other places of interest! Come and soak up the sun.
