About the home
Sunnyside studio is located on the top floor of a large complex in one of the most scenic parts of the Mediterranean coast and is complete with three pools. Enjoy the promenade walk to the amazing yachting marina, calling in to eat at one of the many restaurants where you will be surrounded by chefs cooking the latest sea catch and boutiques displaying all manner of gifts. Buses stop outside, taking you to Malaga, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Be sure to visit the local Wednesday market in beautiful Paloma Park which offers excellent bargain hunting. The many beach bars and restaurants around give a wonderful opportunity to sample the wide variety of restaurant food available. Opportunities abound for a huge variety of sporting activities. Buses stop outside the apartments, taking you toTorremolinos and Malaga in one direction and Fuengirola in the other. Leading from the main entrance area are four lifts and two service lifts. Sunnyside studio has been completely renovated and as its name suggests, captures an amazing amount of afternoon sun. The studio has been enlarged by incorporating the balcony internally but new double glazed sliding windows make it easy to pull back and admire the view. It has a good kitchen area, new beds and new tiled floor with a new ensuite shower room alongside, that includes a shower, toilet and basin. The gardens are extremely well maintained, watered daily during the summer months and retain their lovely green colour right through July and August. Staying in Maite makes for an ideal get-away holiday, 10 minutes away from the main bustling area of Benalmadena Costa and with plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area or relax on the beach or garden.

Conditions
Swimming pools are open during summer months only as Spanish law directs that life guards must be in attendance. The sea makes excellent swimming through September and October and for the more hardy throughout the year.

The area can be divided into three sections, Benalmadena Pueblo, the pretty village set in the mountains, Arroyo de la Miel, the small busy town where you will find bustling restaurants at low prices, a big supermarket and train station. The studios themselves are at Benalmadena Costa, situated on flat level ground and covering a huge beach area. The climate is excellent and statistics indicate that in general there are in excess of 300 days of sunshine per year. The airport is easily accessible, a journey of about 20 minutes either by train or taxi and Malaga itself is well worth a visit with its amazing cathedral and Picasso museum.
The famous Alhambra, a Moorish palace and the Generalife, considered by many to be the 8th wonder of the world are well worth a visit, as are the Sierra Nevada mountains at Granada which give opportunities for year round skiing. You may care to venture further afield and enjoy a day trip to Gibraltar, visit the apes, caves and shop English style or may be the famous caves at Nerja will be a big attraction. Whatever your preferences you will find an amazing variety of activities at Benalmadena Costa.
The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area
Cross the road and you are on a safe, sandy beach where you may easily rent out sunloungers and umbrellas and enjoy safe swimming. Walk along the promenade to the yachting marina and enjoy the many bars,
restaurants and boutiques selling all manner of wares.You might consider a longer walk, on to the Carihuela, a fishing village beyond the marina, again littered with bars and restaurants and leading directly into Torremolinos itself. Bus stops outside the apartments take you to Fueringerola in one direction and Torremolinos in the other.
A short walk from the apartments will take you to beautiful Paloma Park where animals roam freely and which houses the 2nd largest cacti garden in the world. Venture just a few streets further and you will find the indoor swimming pool and local ice rink. The most famous Torrequabra golf course and night club are within striking distance and this alone attracts people from far afield.
Tivoli World amusement park proves a major attraction and just adjacent is the amazing cable car ride to the top of Calamorro mount where you will find a Birds of Prey collection and a brilliant view. The area is renowned for its sporting activities and whatever your field of preference you will be sure to find it here.

Easy access to Malaga airport by Easyjet at a cheap price if booked well in advance. Nearer the flight date prices escalate rapidly. Ryanair and BA provide alternatives. Train or taxi from the airport will quickly transport you to the accommodation. Trains run half hourly and cost only a euro or two. Car hire is more cheaply purchased once you have arrived at your destination and will be cheaper than at the airport. If you fancy driving by car, allow about 3 days for a fairly rapid journey or longer for a more scenic and enjoyable ride.

SPECIAL 10% PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNT ON ALL DATES FROM JANUARY TO 26TH MAY INCLUSIVE IF DATES ARE BOOKED BEFORE END OF JANUARY, 2012.
We accept cheque payment only. A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure booking. The remainder to be paid 6 weeks before departure.
Cancellation within 6 weeks of departure incurs 100% charge but if the dates are relet there will be a refund of the balance remaining.
A refundable £100 security deposit needed with final payment, reimbursed to guests within two weeks of the return of keys, subject to satisfactory inspection of the property.
Until such time that a meter is installed, air conditioning is included in with rental rates. A £10 per week surcharge to cover air conditioning during July, August and September is necessary. Likewise a £10 surcharge to cover heating during January, February and March is also applicable.
Prices may be subject to change at advertiser's discretion.
Please note that £20 representing the final cost of cleaning after departure will be added to your bill.
