About the home

The apartment is a new apartment which has been furnished to a high standard. Arenal Golf is a secure gated community and this apartment is on phase 3. The property itself is light and airy in feel and well laid out for comfort and relaxation. Comprising of a spacious lounge and dining area, a modern fitted with kitchen with all the modcons aswell as two bedrooms (one en suite) and a lovely family bathroom. There are also two balconies and a BBQ to enjoy alfresco dining.
Location is ideal for families, young couples or older people looking for a luxury break. Restuarants, bars and beaches are all neraby aswell as many other tourist attractions.

The Costa del Sol region

The Costa del Sol is famous for it all year round good weather. This contributes to making this such a popular choice for holiday makers year after year.
The apartment is within easy reach of Malaga, Mijas and Fuengirola, although a car is essential to make sure you get to see the best of the area. A train service is avialable from Benalmadena station to Malaga or Fuengirola. There is also a bus that runs from the main road to Mijas or into Benalmadena Casta. There is also a local bus which picks up from across the road of the complex. This has many stops including the local supermarket and Tivoli World and this terminates at the harbour at Benalmadena pheblos which is a small village with stunning views of the sea and surrouding area. It also takes you to the beach. This bus leaves every hour.

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Pueblo area

Benalmadena is made of up three main areas. These are Benalmadena Pueblo, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel.
Benalmadena has a wide range of attractions, from museums to an old picturesue church, gardens and even a castle.
There are also a number of local cultural festivals:
Easter Week - Live presentation of the Passion of the Christ.
Fe 28th - Andalucia Day (everything Spanish Closed)
June 24-29th - Arroyo de la Miel - local fair
Mid Aug - Local fair
July 16th - Evening boat procession

Benalmadena has a shore line of over 9km boasting bueatiful beaches. It has also has a marina which is surrounded by bars, restauarants, boutiques and apartments and the sea life aquarium. Close to the marina is a 24 hour square with nightclubs, cinemas and a casiono, prooving to be very popular with the younger visitors.
There are a variety of parks to visit in this area: The La Paloma Park, large landscaped gardens with wildlife and a mini zoo. Selwo Marine Park, Dolphin and Sea Lion displays.
There are 15-20 golf courses to choose from, all with in a 15 minute drive.

Being a popular holiday destination there are a number of budget airlines that can get you into Malaga. For example, Easy Jet, Jet 2 and Ryan Air to name but a few. You will probably find these flights will depart from local airports aswell the main London airports.
Malaga Airport is only a 15 minute drive from the Arenal Golf Complex. Car Hire is available from numerous companies both from the airport at arrival or to book prior to your arrival.
There is also a train service that runs from Malaga Airport to Benalmadena which also takes about 15 minutes. And then you could take a taxi from the station to the apartment or the local bus that runs regularaly aswell. You will need to be aware to get off at the stop for the Hospital Xanit.

“relaxing holiday” We went as a family to this appartment sept 2011 for 10 days,the appartment has everthing you need,the pool area was great,the girls loved it,we more or less had the pool to ourselves all day.I must admit a car is advisable,although we didnt hire one,when we went out we either walked into the town which took us 30min,or we caught the bus for 1.20euro,and then got taxi back for 7euro.If i went back then i would hire a car,but dont be put off by this.If you just want a relaxing holiday round the pool then this appartment is a must.
