About the home

The apartment is a ground floor apartment and is safe for children with no high balconies and due to its location on the ground floor is very OAP friendly. The apartment has a new kitchen with a double hob cooker and a small table-top oven, microwave, sandwich toaster,and conventional toaster, it has easy access to the gardens and poolside, close by is the hairdresser, bars and retaurants are close by as are the super markets and smaller shops.
Smoking is only permitted on the balcony and not in the apartment.

You can feel confident in the knowledge that there is a 24 hr reception, staffed by English speaking staff.
Safety deposit boxes can be obtained at reception.
The 3rd single bed is a fold down bed.
INTERNET access in the reception area, cards can be purchased for 10 euros from reception which gives unlimited access, great for the younger ones. Or 50 cents for 10 mins.

In addition to one of the best swimming pools on the Costa Del Sol, there are many other attractions in the area,Tivoli World Amusement Park is just up the road from the station, Also at Tivoli World is the Cable Car which takes you up to the top of the mountain overlooking much of the Costa Del Sol, where you can watch The Birds Of Prey in action, and on selected days there is an equestrian display. Just a short taxi ride away is the Water Park at Torremolinos great fun for the kids, young and not so young. If you are interested in Golf, Benalmadena is in the heart of a Golfers Paradise, within 30 min drive you can access any one of 7 or 8 excellent golf courses.

Swimming pool open until the end of October and then on selected week ends through November depending on weather, the pool is private to the apartments, unless you are staying at the Minerva/Jupiter you can not use the pool.
The apartment has 2 single beds and a double sofa bed, in addition to these there one fold down bed which can be used for younger members of your goup.

TERM AND CONDITIONS

Please read the booking terms and conditions carefully, they apply to all bookings made with Mr and Mrs J. Heard and each individual member of your party.

YOUR CONTRACT

When you book accommodation either via the internet or telephone, your booking is confirmed immedately upon receipt of deposit, and it is at this time a binding contract comes into existence,email or postal confirmation of your booking will also be sent to you in the form of an invoice, and a voucher will follow once full payment has been received.

Once the contract is made, it is our resposibility to provide you with what you have booked, and it is your resposibility to pay for the accommodation in full before you travel.

All relevant documentation will be sent to you,it is important to check carefully all the details of your booking once you receive it.

If you want to cancel or amend your booking later, you may have to pay cancellation or amendment fees.

If your booking is more than 8 weeks away, you must pay a 20% deposit. This deposit is non refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks before you travel,please note this must be paid before you travel or your booking will be canceled.

Included in the price is:

The accommodation as confirmed to you,plus the board basis you have chosen and paid for
*Self catering : The room will have kitchen facilities.

We guarantee that once you have made your booking we will not increase the price of your accommodation.
Please note that once you have agreed a price and made your booking this is the price you pay. If the price decreases, you are not entitled to the accommodation at the changed rate.
We have a strict no smoking policy within the apartment, smoking is permitted on the balcony. Please adhere to this.

INDEMNITY

When you book accommodation with Mr and Mrs J. Heard you accept resposibility for any damage caused by you or a member of your party, your accommodation will be checked for damage or losses prior to your arrival, and after your departure.


Change over days are flexible where possible. Apartment available from 2.30p.m. on day of arrival and must be vacated bt 10.30a.m. on day of departure.

The Costa del Sol region

The weather in this region starts to warm up at the end of March and can be in the mid twenties, however you can still get the odd shower,after April it really starts to warm up and by the end of May it can be 30 degrees most days, at the peak of the season in July and August it is in the mid to high thirties.This region is said to have 320 days of sunshine per year.

The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area

At the Marina you can visit Sea World and see several species of sea life in captivity, or take a Fishing trip from the Marina.

At the neighbouring town of Fuengirola there is a zoo,with a children's playground and two themed restaurants. From the Port in Fuengirola you can take a boat trip to see the dolphins, or go Scuba Diving with an experienced team who will give you all the coaching you need. You can also experince the thrill of driving your own Go-Kart at Fuengirola

At Torremolinos you can cool off at Aqualand,it is said to be the biggest Water Park on the Costa Del Sol, and right next door is the crocodile park.

Close to the Train Station at Benalmadena there is Tivoli World Amusement Park,also at Tivoli World is the Cable Car, which will take you to the top of the mountain overlooking the Costa Del Sol.
5 mins walk from the apartment is Paloma Park where you can take a leisurely stroll and see several species of birds and small mamals.At the far end of Paloma Park is the Dolphinarium.
Just along the main road from the Windmill Roundabout towards Torremolinos,Benalmadena has its own Crazy Golf.

If you are interested in Golf then this is the place to be, within half an hour (by car) of Benalmadena, there are approx 8 golf courses.
On selected days of the week there is a golf society run from the Captains Rest, open to anyone, (directions supplied)
Amoung the numerous bars and restaurants in the Bonanza Square is The Robin Hood run by Kevin and Jo which we highly recomend for friendly atmosphere and excellent food including sunday lunch, for that very special evening meal you may like to visit the OK 1 Restaurant which ofers excellent food, and the service there is the best,and you won't pay over the odds the prices are more than reasonable.

Fly to Malaga airport
By Taxi to Benalmadena takes 15 - 20 mins
Or you could catch the train from just outside the airport to Benalmadena - public transport in Spain is very cheap approx 1.50 euros - then a 15 min walk to the apartment or a Taxi will cost 6 euros.
There numerous car hire companies at the airport, you can pre-book or book one on arrival.
If you feel that you might want a car just for a day or two, then there are hire companies in Benalmadena that you can hire from.

“fantastic value for money” stayed for a week in august with my partner and our 3 children and thought that the apartment was great value for money, the air conditioning was good value as 1 euro lasts for 2 1/2 hours and the pool area is excellent.
