The property has two bedrooms a double bedroom with 20" Flat screen TV and built in DVD which leads out onto the terrace and a twin bedded room, as well as a large sofa bed in the lounge area.There is a bathroom and another large shower room, a fully fitted separate kitchen and a lounge/diner with a two seater settee, three seater sofa bed, dining table with 6 chairs, 40" Flat screen satellite TV, DVD, video recorder, CD/radio/ cassette. There is a large terrace with a six seater wooden patio set, a built in Spanish style stone BBQ and reclining chairs that can be taken down to the pool area. The terrace boast views of the sea to the left and mountain views to the right. There is air conditioning and central heating and a private garage space as well as parking in front of the apartment. There is a large swimming pool as well as a children's paddling pool. Within easy walking distance and minutes from the apartment, are beaches, restaurants, bars,cafes, a large newly built 'Mercadona' supermarket and a childrens play area with swings, climbing frame slides and seating areas. The location is Ideal being within easy reach of all the major towns such as Furengirola, Torremolinos, the lovely Puerta Marina and Benalmadena Costa which is easily reached by foot, car or bus. There are also 2 superb parks Paloma Park in the centre of Benalmadena and Parque Bateria in the area of Torremolinos. So you have all the attractions, towns and nightlife on your doorstep but a quieter enviroment at night and plenty of public transport such as a local bus route and taxi rank a few yards from the apartment.

The property is on street level so there are no lifts or stairs to manage, which is ideal for guests with heavy suitcases or golfers with equipment. Inside there is an attractive hallway leading through to the lounge/diner. The double bedroom leads out onto the terrace as does the lounge. Both bedrooms have hairdryers and the double room has a 20" flat screen high definition satellite TV with built in DVD. There is a lovely bathroom with shower, wash hand basin, WC and bidet and a large shower room with a very spacious powerful shower, as well as a basin and WC. There is a separate fully fitted & equipped kitchen.The lounge diner has a two seater settee and three seater sofa bed, There is a 40" Flat screen high Definition satellite TV, DVD player, video recorder and a variety of family and childrens videos. The dining area has a dining table and seating for six. The apartment also has air conditioning, central heating and double glazing. There is a lovely large terrace decorated with typical colourful Spanish ceramica, attractive wooden patio furniture for 6 guests and a built in stone BBQ so you can enjoy the lovely weather as well as eating 'Al Fresco' and enjoying the views of the sea and the mountains. there are also reclining chairs which can be used on the terrace or taken down to the pool area. We have also just added glass curtains to the terrace which can be used during the winter months making it entirely enclosed and also making it another room.

The apartment is within easy walking distance, to local beaches and a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes There is also a brand new large supermarket approximately 2 minutes away with an excellent fresh meat and fish counter. There is an excellent local bus service which will take you into Benalmadena, Tivoli World & up to the cable cars & a taxi service yards from the apartment. Also within easy reach there are other bus routes which will take you into all the major towns such as Furengirola, Torremolinos, Puerta Marina and the city of Malaga for just over a euro. We can also arrange pick ups to and from Malaga airport for up to 7 guests at an excellent rate, cheaper than the taxis at Malaga.

To secure the apartment we need a deposit of £175.00 over and above the full rental rate which is used as security against any breakages, damage or losses that may be incurred during your stay and fully payment should be sent within 6 weeks of your booked dates.There is a safety deposit box available where cash, passports and valuables can be locked away. We can also supply 2 travel cots which can double as a playpens, we also have a small cot suitable for babies up to 6 month's old, a highchair and buggy just in case you don't want to bring one with you, but useful if a little one gets a bit tired from time to time and we even have a potty. All can be hired for a small fee. We also have an excellent pick up service where they can take up to 7 passengers and at prices which are cheaper than the taxis at Malaga, if you are interested in this service please mention this at the time of your booking. Thinking of booking a car you can do this through Easyjet, at Malaga Airport.
Conditions
Smoking is not permitted at any time inside the apartment but is allowed on the terrace with the use of an ashtray. We welcome families, however we do expect children to be well behaved (as we do our own) and ask that parents make sure that children do not jump all over the furniture or play around with any of the electrical equipment such as satellite TV, video or DVD, and in the case of very young children put any breakable objects out of the way. Unfortunately we do not allow pets.
The Costa del Sol region


The apartment is within easy walking distance of an array of of all types of cafes, bars and restaurants from Chinese to tapas and a large supermarket 'Mercadona' has just been built within approximately 2 minutes of the apartment, also within a few yards there is a local bus stop which takes you into Benalmadena as well as other bus routes which take you to all the major towns and attractions not more that 10/15 minutes away and a taxi rank so there is no need of a car. The local beaches are also a short walk away where there are some lovely restaurants with terraces either over looking the sea or almost on the beach. Within yards of the apartment there is an open cafe facing a new children's play area with swings, slides and climbing frames
Even in the Winter the weather can be in the 70's and is a great time to take advantage of cheap air flights and getting away from the wet and cold british climate. Spring and Autumn are also lovely seasons to enjoy the warm weather and if you prefer the less hectic and crowded season of Summer you can explore the lovely Costa del Sol in a more relaxed manner. Summer is hot and sultry with all the attractions and restaurants open, as some of these do close down or have limited opening times in the winter months.
There are many places close by to visit and all within minutes by foot, car or public transport. Tivoli World the famous theme park is great for families as well as the cable car, Seaworld at Puerta Marina, There are aqua parks at Torremolinos and Mijas and at great zoo at Furengirola. The Puerta Marina and the resorts of Torremolinos and Furengirola are minutes away by car or bus and Benalmadena Costa can be reached both by foot or transport. Also not to be missed are the 2 lovely parks, Paloma park in the centre of Benalmadena and
Bateria Park close to the area of Torremolinos.
There are some excellent markets around and well worth a visit, especially the one held on a Friday at Arroya del Miel in the car park at Tivoli World, details of all of them in the apartment.
The Benalmadena / Torrequebrada area
The area of Benalmadena is divided into three parts Benalmadena Costa, which is vibrant with long stretches of sandy beaches, a lovely walkway along the front with an array of restaurants to suit everyone. In the centre is the lovely Paloma park with its lake and fountain and a variety of little animals running around as well as other attractions such as play areas, remote control boating lake, some animal enclosures and cafes and with free entry!!. Then there is the Puerta Marina at the end of Benalmadena Costa and close to Torremolinos housing an array of beautiful yachts and surrounded by sugar crafted turreted apartments, up market shops and restaurants.Opposite to the marina is the area of Solymar where all the night life can be found, with a variety of nightclubs and bars. The next part is Arroyo del Miel an attractive and bustling town where the Leisure Centre and Ice rink are located and the only one on the Costa del Sol. Just before you come into the town, Tivoli World and the Cable car can be found and a little further on is where the train station is located. To get into the town drive up to the car park of Tivoli World and the cable car, then walk along a walkway with some shops and small restaurants and this will lead you into the town. The third part is Benalmadena Pueblo the old part of Benalmadena a delightful and well kept village with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars.
Torrequebrada is an off shoot of Benalmadena Costa, and is situated within the vicinity of the famous casino and 5 star hotel, next door to the Torrequebrada Golf course where the Spanish open has been played and close to the riding school which is a very pleasant location to book a ride, have a meal or just enjoy a leisurely drink while enjoying the beautiful views. it has it's own beaches, restaurants and the new commercial centres where there are a variety of new restaurants, shops and businesses and a newly built large 'Mercadona' supermarket. A lovely palm tree lined road leads down to coved beaches and restaurants looking out onto the beach and if you are in tune with nature there is also a nudist beach. There is also another excellent park in the area of Torremolinos with a boating lake where you can hire a rowing boat for up to half an hour for just one euro, or climb up the tower and look over the breathtaking sights of the area.
There is also the excellent Plaza Mayor open air shopping mall with its excellent shops, restaurants, cafes and cinemas and close to Ikea both of which can be reach by train from our local train station at Torremuelle approximately 5 minutes away by bus or car.

Malaga Airport is easily reach from nearly all airports in the Uk and Europe and is services by all the major airlines and buget aircraft such as Flybe, Easyjet, Ryanair etc and is approximately a two and half hour journey from the Uk. From Portsmouth and other ferry ports you can sail over to Northern Spain and travel down to the Costa del Sol. Car hire is easily arranged either via Easyjet or on arrival at Malaga Airport. We also have someone that we use on a regular basis and is very competitive on price. The Apartment is approximately a 15 minute journey from Malaga airport by taxi and cost approximately 25 euros. Altermativley there is also a train that runs from the airport to Arroya del Miel and costs around 2 euros per person, the journey time is about 15 minutes and on arrival you can pick up a taxi from outside the station which is a few minutes from the apartment, the cost for this would be around 7/8 euros. If you are hiring a car we can send you a detailed route from Malaga Airport to the apartment.

Completely mislead about the whereabouts of this apartment. Not within walking distance of anywhere. On a very steep hill. Apartment not up to much. Ended up having to spend a fortune on taxis.... more |
