BENALMADENA COSTA is situated a 15 minutes drive from Malaga airport. Every 30 minutes, a train service runs from Malaga to Fuengirola, stopping at various resorts including Torremollinos & Benalmadena. These resorts are also served by regular bus services, as are Mijas & Marbella. If you wish to explore more of Spain, car hire can be arranged, or local travel agents will arrange excursions to such as Granada, Rhonda,Gibraltar & Seville.
We are located next to Bonanza Square & Ibensa Square. There are at least 5 supermarkets, and 3 launderettes 2 minutes walk away. Numerous restaurants and bars will provide a wide variety of cuisine to suit all tastes, including English, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Thai, Romanian and Mexican.
As far as value for money dining out is concerned, the Benalmadena area is probably the cheapest on the Mediterranean coast, without compromising quality and variety.

Heaters in winter & cooling fans in summer are supplied.

The Costa del Sol region
Just outside Malaga, Benalmadena is one of the Costa del Sols most vibrant and attractive resorts.
Lying in the foothills of Sierra de Mijas, Benalmadena enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and constantly mild temperatures due to the influence of the Mediterranean Sea.
Benalmadena Costa boasts a beautiful beach stretching for almost 10 kilometres and what is claimed to be one of the best Marinas in the world. Here, there are over 1000 berths and 200 shops, bars, restaurants, plus a new shopping centre. The architecture has Andalucian, Arabian and Indian influences. It is an attractive place to visit both during the day and at night.
The playgrounds of the rich and famous, Marbella and Puerto Banus, are only twenty minutes away by road, and the Rock of Gibraltar can be reached in under an hour.
There are dozens of excellent golf courses in the area, with the world famous Torrequebrada course only ten minutes away.

For the sporting energetic type there is golf, sailing, fishing, waterskiing, scuba diving, parascending, hang gliding or just laze on our tropical sandy beaches. Even our winters are attractive for the longer stay holidaymaker at even better value. And if you Ski, we are close to the Sierra Nevada, so you can switch from sun to snow in 2 hours.
And if that is not enough and you want to venture out, there are cheap coach excursions to just about anywhere like, Granada, Rhonda, Marbella, Seville, Gibraltar and our picturesque Lakes.

Just a short walk from the Promenade, the apartment is centrally located in Bonanza Square and it is very secure. Lots of cafes, shops and bars within a short distance. It hosts a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains behind Malaga. The Airport transfer offered by the Owners is brilliant. On arriving at the Apartment, they take time to give you information on the area, buses etc which is extremely useful. The Owners also live close by and are on hand should you have any problems which is very reassuring. The apartment was very well equipped with furnishings being of a high standard.It is extremely comfortable and you immediately feel at home. Excellent value. A place to return to. |

Bonanza D is a comfortable & well-equipped apartment in an ideal location. It has easy downhill access to the seafront and splendid Marina in one direction, and similar easy access to the delightful Paloma Park. It is uphill (but not too steeply) to Arroyo de la Miel, the upper part of the resort, to the cable car and to the train station which links to Malaga and Fuengirola as well as to the airport. The trains are frequent and relatively inexpensive. There is a bus service that passes the apartment and runs between the upper resort (Arroyo), the Benalmádena shops and seafront and beyond to Torremolinos. The apartment is more or less adjacent to 'Bonanza Square'. This has several good and inexpensive restaurants, and a sprinkling of friendly bars, with both outside and inside seating. There is a good-sized supermarket and the local church which chimes the hours (but not all night). The owners live nearby and are friendly and accessible, but happy to leave you to your own devices if you wish. They do provide a very useful and reasonably priced car service to pick you up from the airport and take you back for your flight home. We had a most enjoyable 2 weeks there in October 2011, and hope to go again before too long. This apartment was very roomy and comfortable fully equiped with everything required and more. the accomodation was spotless. Terrific views from the balcony, the apartment was in the center of everything on Bonanza Square. this is definately the best accomodation we have ever stayed in and we have been coming to Benalmadena for years. Only problem is it gets booked up very quick, so you need to book really early as the same people keep coming back. Response: Thank you for taking the time to show your appreciation. It makes our efforts worthwhile. In these austere times, it's nice to know that our apartment needs to be booked in good time to secure a reservation. Many thanks Linda & Jack |

After trying other apartments, this is the best! We come 2 or 3 times a year, Robert & Doreen Greenhall, Carlisle.
We have enjoyed 2 consecutive winters. It won't be our last. Jack & Barbara Hill, Bridilington.
