This complex is situated in the heart of benalmadena costa in front of the santa ana beach and castle bil bil it is the perfect family complex with 24 hour reception, parking , 5 swimming pools and slides,the slides are only open during the summer months due to the weather,there is a spa centre and gym on site for extra charge which has indoor swimming pool, luxurious gardens and just across the road from the beach. The complex has its own resturant, bar (the bar and restuarant close in low season if there is a lack of clients ) and supermarket on site. The reception also offer facilities such as car hire area information and tours to the numerous activities that are available in the costa del sol.

The apartment is within the complex in controlled safe area for children, sea and mountain views and sitaited by the park paloma with its very own lake with numerous wildlife and a sealife dolphin centre with penguins and seals etc.

Just a short walk to the centre of arroyo de la miel shopping area and tivoli world amusement park

it is 15 minutes by car from the airport and 20 mins by train - the nearest station is 20 minute walk away in the centre of arroyo de la miel

The Andalucia region

Mediterranean climate, more than 320 days of sun per year, the sea, small charming towns and a lot more... The Costa del Sol cast a spell over you and it has logically converted itself into a key international tourist destination since the middle of the last Century. The Costa del Sol offers luxury and glamour, taking advantage of the frequent presence of film stars since the seventies. Today between 25 and 30% of the large luxury hotels in Spain are found in Marbella and its surroundings, not to mention the first class golf courses. A luxurious and international character which contrasts the typical small Andalusia villages such as Ronda and Mijas, with narrow streets and white-washed houses adorned with flowers.

The Costa del Sol is located in the province of Malaga, in the south of the Mediterranean coast, between the provinces of Granada and Cadiz, and bordering the provinces of Cordoba and Seville in the north.

The changeful history of the Costa del Sol has taken place between the mountains and the sea. Due to its climate and spectacular landscape a number of different races, such as the Phoenicians, Romans, Goths and the moors settled down at the Costa del Sol. Especially the moors characterized a number of Andalusia cities, such as Malaga with their architecture.

In the second half of the 20th century, Costa del Sol became more and more popular as tourist destination for tourists from all over the world choose the coast to relax on its sun-drenched beaches, discover its rich architectural heritage or explore the wild beauty of its mountain geography.

As the name already says, Costa del Sol guarantees a lot of sun throughout the year. Come and enjoy Costa del Sol to the full.

Benalmadena Costa

Benalmadena is a well known name on the Costa del Sol so I won’t try and give you the full tour but will instead give a personal view of the area.

Originally Benalmadena was no more than a village high up on the hills overlooking the costa about 12 miles from Malaga city and between the old fishing villages of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. That pueblo still exists, is still pretty and retains some of the old charm even though it has grown considerably in recent years.

Initially, whilst Torremolinos and Fuengirola grew quickly as tourist destinations Benalmadena was rather left out and the city fathers have worked very, very hard to compete with their neighbours.

Today Benalmadena Costa is a long, well developed area , sea front behind long man made beaches that has backed up inland to an appealing town area named Arroyo de la Miel and beyond. Further up the hill towards the original pueblo development has been much less intense and there are many individual villas and more spacious well looked after urbanizations - golf courses and nature reserves.

The area is a lively, thriving community with a massive choice of places to eat, entertainment and shopping. It is immensely popular with international home owners and tourists because of the convenient location and excellent services and facilities.

OK, what makes it so attractive? Well, it’s easy to get to by road with cheap taxi fairs and regular buses from the airport. In addition it has excellent rail access to Malaga city and the airport. The best known features are the 33 meter tall Benalmadena Stupa (Buddhist monument) and the magnificent marina. Whilst the architecture of the marina has little to do with Andalucia it is attractive for all that and it is a great place to promenade, dine or go clubbing. And talking of clubbing takes us on to the night life that draws people from all along the coast. It isn’t for nothing that Benalmadena is home to what everyone calls “24 Hour Square”! Aside from the clubs and discos there are cabaret shows and a whole range of entertainment in bars and restaurants throughout the area and prices tend to be very competitive.

Other things to see and do include visiting the amusement park at Tivoli World, taking the cable car to the top of Monte Calamorro which towers over the town, skating on the Costa del Sol’s only ice skating rink, swimming in the municipal indoor pool or visit the Sea Life aquarium in the port. I could go on with the list but for full information on all the choices Benalmadena offers there are plenty of other sources, but this should give you a flavour.

At the end of the day if you are looking for old, unspoilt, Spain Belamadena, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel they are understandably immensely popular as places to live, work and holiday and for many people offer an ideal mix of sun, sea, entertainment and convenience and yes, fun!
