This is a ground floor privately owned 1 bedroom apartment within a very popular holiday ownership complex which gives you all the added benefits of the facilities on offer. Being ground floor means that there are no steps to climb to get to the apartment as there is with many of the others as the complex is built on a hill. The resort is split into two with a number of apartments located around the lower swimming pool, which is easily accessible from this 1 bed, with more apartments on the upper section. This apartment is located in the middle of the two sections and you can access it through the complex at the bottom.

Pueblo Evita is popular with couples and families alike who return year after year. Around the lower pool there is a cafe bar restaurant which is open from 10am daily offering food and drinks. There is also an onsite pub, launderette and supermarket. The large local Mercadona supermarket is not far away.

There are 2 swimming pools, 1 outdoor and 1 indoor, on the roof top of the upper section apartments although please be aware that there are a number of steps to access these. There is a cafe bar next to the outdoor pool with sun loungers and eating areas for guest use. The added benefit of this resort is that you have 2 outdoor swimming pools to choose from and the other swimming pool is very close to the apartment. You do not need to use the roof top outdoor pool if you did not want to.

The heated indoor pool is open October - April. There is an indoor jacuzzi which can be used all year round. The cost to use this is 1 euro.

Next to the indoor pool there is a games room with cards, jigsaws and other table games and there are is a shower and changing room area.

There are several wi-fi areas available all over the complex.

As previously mentioned families return year after year with young children due to the benefits and all that the complex has to offer. Also the beach is very close, just over 5 minutes away, and there are numerous local bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The large local supermarket and municipal tennis courts are also about 5 minutes away.

As you enter the apartment the lounge, dining and kitchen area is open plan. The L shaped sofa opens up to a double bed if there are four people staying. There is a television with some English speaking channels and a DVD player. The patio doors open onto the terrace. The lounge area and bedroom have air conditioning which is metered.

The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you would need to enjoy a self catering holiday, a full oven & hob and a fridge with large freezer section. For indoor dining there is a table and 4 chairs.

The double bedroom has a king size bed with fitted wardrobes and again there are patio doors leading onto the terrace.

The bathroom has a bath with shower above.

There is a safety deposit box for valuables.

The outside space to this apartment is lovely. There is a table and 4 chairs with an umbrella for al fresco dining and when you have finished you can move over to the easy seating area which has a sofa and 2 chairs and a small drinks table.

An added bonus is that there is a built in BBQ.

Although this apartment is marked as smokers welcome smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. We ask our smoking guests to use the outside space and thank them for their co-operation.

Travel cots, pushchairs, high chairs, sun loungers, beach umbrellas, cool boxes, fans are all available for hire. Enquire about rental costs.

Other apartments available for rent from studios to a villa with private pool.

Bed linen and 1 bath and 1 hand towel provided per week for each guest. Beach towels are not provided but are available for rent at a cost of €2.50 per guest per stay.

The Andalucia region

The Costa Del Sol is pretty much an all year round weather resort with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. There are plenty of places of interest to visit or you can just relax and unwind.

Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cordoba or the Sierra Nevada mountains in the winter for skiing are all within easy travelling distances by car or train.

The famous Rock of Gibraltar is little over an hours drive away.

Benalmadena Costa

Benalmadena is split into three areas being Benalmadena Pueblo the old Spanish style village, Arroyo De La Miel the busy town area where you will find the train station and Benalmadena Costa, the beach area.

Benalmadena Pueblo has a quiet pace of life with white washed Spanish houses and a lovely square which is an ideal place to stop and have lunch. The church is worth a visit and outside has stunning views down to the coast. The local bull ring is here too.

Arroyo De la Miel is a much busier area with shops and restaurants. Tivoli World Amusement Park is in Arroyo and this is where they hold one of the local Friday markets. The cable car runs from here and at the top you will be rewarded with a falconry display.

Benalmadena Costa is the coastal area where you will find this apartment and the world famous Puerto Marina and much, much more.

There is an open top bus tour which will take you to all 3 of the above places mentioned or if you prefer you can get about just as easily using the local transport.

The people who visit Benalmadena return year after year as the area has so much to offer.

Fireworks displays

San Juan, 23rd June on the beach not far from the apartment

Virgen del Carmen 16th July where the fishing boats come out from the marina with a firework display to finish.

Both fireworks displays are on late so you will need a siesta in the afternoon but they are well worth staying up for.

"Fantastic couple of weeks in the sun"

From the booking onwards the whole experience was very good, they even arranged collection from & back to the airport. The apartment was lovely and comfortable with everything that we needed for a really enjoyable stay. The complex was very clean and our daughters loved the pools. There is plenty of restaurants nearby for when we didn't fancy cooking. I wouldn't hesitate going back again soon!

"A great apartment"

"Lovely winter break"

Thank you for taking the time to review Pueblo Evita but it was not this apartment you stayed in in January. This is a privately owned apartment although guests are able to use the onsite facilities. There is no maid service offered but this can be arranged at an extra cost should it be required.

"An apartment for everyone - Couples, the girlies, or with the kids!!"

Read the apartment guide on the flight, covered everything you could think of and loads of ideas on what to do if you fancy venturing away from the pool. Took the train from the airport, a couple of minutes in a taxi and we had arrived.

Lovely clean apartment, with everything you need, in a great location. 10 minute walk to the beach, a selection of restaurants, 3 supermarkets, less than a 15 minute amble to the train station, half an hour to the Puerto for clubs and bars - Everything is in easy reach.

Choice of sunning by the beach, the roof terrace pool or down by the club house... hardship.

Use the train to visit places along the coast - surprisingly cheap, frequent and sooo clean!!

Want a lie by the pool or site seeing holiday, want to get away on a budget or have romantic evenings eating out... this the apartment for you!!

Fantastically enjoyable totally relaxing family holiday. Looking forward to our return next year. The apartment was wonderfully clean on our arrival (and I am very particular!). Ann and Nigel are great agents and really valued their airport pick up/drop off service and handy tips.
