We have contacts for rental in the countryside and can arrange a two centre holiday. Mixing a beach holiday with a relaxing time in the surrounding countryside.
Conditions
Non refundable deposit of 25% is requested to confirm your booking with the full balance due four weeks prior to the start of your holiday.(or as agreed)
A 150€ refundable damage deposit will also be payable when the balance is payable.
A provisional booking can be made by e-mail or telephone to enable flights to be booked.

The Costa del Sol is an area in southern Spain, in Axarquia, comprising of the coastal area between Cadiz in the west to Motril and beyond in the east. Formerly made up of a series of fishing villages, the region west of Malaga has been transformed into a popular tourist destination. This includes the city of Malaga and the towns of Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Mijas and Marbella.
The east of Malaga however, has retained much of its Spanish way of life and culture. The famous "white" villages along the coast and a short way inland are still mostly unspoilt. With views of the mountains, beaches and countryside, it is an ideal area to relax and enjoy Spain. Towns such as Velez Malaga,Torre del Mar, Rincon de la Victoria, Torrox and Nerja are among the most popular to visit.
The coastline to the east of Malaga consists of a series of large beaches, a few coves between cliffs, leasure marinas and fishing ports.
The Benajarafe area
Benajarafe is a coastal village situated approximately 18 kilometres east of Malaga. It has been traditionally a fishing village.but today is becoming a popular holiday destination. The weather in the area is excellent all year round with mild winters and pleasantly hot summers. There are a variety of bars , cafeterias and restaurants on the promenade and along the beach. Local facilities include chemists, banks,supermarkets, church, post office, doctors surgery and many general stores.
A wide variety of amenities and activities are available in the surrounding area. Golf (2 courses within 15 minutes drive) sailing, go-carting, fishing, Aqua park, cinemas, horse riding, trekking, shopping centres and street markets.
Local buses travel along the coast. Westwards towards Rincon de la Victora and Malaga and eastwards towards Torre del Mar, Torrox and Nerja.
Granada and the Sierra Navada are an hour and a half away.

Fly to Malaga International Airport using one of the many budget airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch etc.)
From the airport there is a variety of transport options to get you to Benajarafe.
1. Hire car. Can be prebooked with your flight or arranged at Malaga Airport when you arrive.( a hire car is strongly recommended to travel round the area, although buses and taxis are readily available if prefered)
2Bus. A shuttle bus runs regularly from the airport into central Malaga where you can transfer to a local bus to take you along the coast to Benajarafe.
3. Taxi. From the airport to Benajarafe takes approximately 30 minutes and will cost in the region of 50€.

I booked this apartment for a last minute holiday in November. As my Mum and I were travelling alone, we liked the fact that the owners were on site which gave us that bit of added security. When making enquiries, Peter, the owner was so helpful and answered all sorts of last minute questions. When we arrived at the airport and picked up our hire car, I was a bit nervous as I had never driven abroad before, but, the really easy to follow directions Peter had provided were a great help, as was the fact that the villa is only about half an hour from the airport. When we got to the villa, Peter showed us around and told us how to find the nearest supermarket (a couple of minutes drive away). The apartment is underneath the owner's villa and patio doors open onto a small terraced area by the pool. The apartment is small but perfectly formed with everything you need, including a lovely shower. The ktichen is well stocked with an easy to use oven, hob and even microwave. This really is a home from home, with everything you need. We had a lovely week there and Peter and Christine were so lovely. They had stocked us up with a few beverages (tea, coffee, wine, beer, juice, water etc) and were on hand throughout the week with advice on places to visit. Whilst we were aware there was someone in the villa above, we had full use of the garden and pool and they are such a nice couple, it really wasn't a problem. The villa is a 2 minute walk from the beach and there are bars and restaurants a short stroll away. The main coast road also means it is really easy to get to and from other places (with good resorts 5 minutes aways in each direction). I would definitely recommend this to others and if you do go, make sure you go and visit Frigiliana - it's a really easy drive and is so beautiful. It was the perfect ending to a really lovely last minute holiday. |
