Home description

Designed by an interior designer, the apartment has everything that you could wish for to make your holiday enjoyable and comfortable. It is light and airy and the air-conditioning and heating keep you comfortable inside regardless of the temperature outside.

Full width patio doors take you from the lounge through to the large balcony with wonderful views of the Andalucian foothills and the sea just 3 miles away. The balcony has a table, chairs and sun loungers. Each of the 2 bedrooms have their own small balconies. The swimming pool is set in beautifully tended gardens and is never over-crowded.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Whilst the apartment is quietly situated in the foothills it is within a short distance of a wealth of attractions; the nightlife of Puerto Banus (10 min) with it's eye-popping marina; the un-crowded one-mile sandy beach (10 min) at San Pedro and the 'Blue Flag' beaches of La Cala offering water sports. For shopping, the luxurious resort of Marbella (20 min) is hard to beat. Whilst not for everyone, try the Casino or Bull Ring (15 mins).

Selwo Safari Park is a must (20 min). For golfers, the magnificent courses of Los Arqueros, La Zagaleta and La Quinta are close by. For a touch of real Spain, the old town of San Pedro is on your doorstep (5 min). It offers a good choice of restaurants and tapas bars centred around the main square. The ancient town of Ronda is worth a visit, as are the picture postcard villages of Benahavis, Casares and Mijas. If you fancy an “ogle” visit Sotogrande where the super-rich live. If you’re home-sick take a trip to Gibraltar.

Airports: the apartment has the advantage of being served by both Malaga and Gibraltar airports (45 km from each). Many airlines fly into Malaga including Easyjet. British airways (operated by GB airways) have flights between London Gatwick and Gibraltar. Road travel from either is very straight-forward, either taking the ap7 (motorway toll road) or the a7 (fast coast road) and then the San Pedro exit to the Ronda road a376. Car journey time about 50 minutes.

Car hire: plenty of rental companies on the internet. We recommend that you advanced booking for pick-up and drop-off at either airport. If you wish we can put you in touch with a reliable company.

Entering the elegant Entrance Hall you feel that you have “arrived” and the feeling of quality continues throughout the apartment. Bathrooms are marbled tiled as are all the floors. The kitchen is fully equipped.

There is a separate utility area with a washing machine. The Dining area has a hand-made table with high-backed chairs. The lounge has leather sofas, satellite TV, DVD/CD player.

The master bedroom has French doors opening onto a small balcony which receives the morning sun. Lying in bed you have the most fabulous view of the Andalucian foothills. The doors have curtains and shutters which can be closed to keep the room in darkness - if you ever felt like laying-in.

There is a queen-size very comfortable bed, which has been custom made so that it can be divided into twins (if twin beds are preferred, please let us know). There are bedside tables with reading lights and a chest-of-drawers. Integral to the bedroom is a changing area with built in wardrobes and ample storage. From here you enter the en-suite bathroom.

The second bedroom, like the master bedroom has French doors, shutters and curtains and the same glorious view from the balcony. There are twin beds a bedside table and reading light, a chest-of-drawers and built-in-wardrobes. The second bathroom is opposite. Both bedrooms have marble floors, concealed air-conditioning and heating.

The en-suit bathroom is equipped with a jacuzzi bath, which is just the perfect way to relax after a hard day holidaying! There is also a wall-mounted shower above the bath which will also invigorate you. The bathroom is beautifully finished with marble tiling on walls and floor. The large mirror was specially commissioned and is separately lit. There is an electric shaving socket above the fitted washbasin.

The shower room has a shower cubicle with one of those high-pressure showers that you just have stay in a little longer. A perfect way to shake off the effects of the night before. The fitted washbasin has a storage cupboard beneath and there is a large mirror and electric shaving socket. Walls and floors are marbled tiled. Please note, there is no bath in the shower room.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment is one of only 16 in the block, all of which are privately owned. This small complex, in its own grounds, has a very private and exclusive feel. We ask that guests respect the property and facilities as it is much cherished by the Owners.

Smoking policy: Smoking is only permitted on the balconies.

Security: Entryphone, safe.

Parking: There is secure underground parking (operated by electronic fob) with lift access directly to the apartment.

Poll and gardens: The pool is located within the beautifully tended gardens, with shower facilities, toilets and ample sun loungers. The pool is never over-crowded. Permanent sited parasols are available for those who prefer a little shade!

Local agent: Guests will have the benefit of having a local English speaking agent if they require help or assistance or to answer any questions. There is no charge made for this.

Cleaning: The apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival with fresh bed linen and towels. If you require an additional clean including a change of linen and towels, there is a charge of £65.

Cots and high chairs are available at £ 35 and £30 per week respectively (pro-rota for part week).
