The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Literally translated the name means the "sunny coast", and it doesn't disappoint! With over 300 days of sun a year it is hardly surprising that it is one of the top UK holiday destinations. Whilst the sun is a major attraction, there is a lot more to the Costa del Sol than relaxing by a pool.
The area boasts the birthplace of Picasso, a wide variety of wineries and olive presses, not to mention a whole host of theatres, museums, exhibitions, and shops. Benahavis / La Hacienda del Senorio de Cifuentes area
Benahavis is in perfect harmony with the colours of the surrounding mountains. Situated between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda, is the most mountainous municipality in the western Costa del Sol, distant only 7km from the sea. At an altitude of 160 m above sea level.
It is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday or to enjoy its wonderful gastronomy. The leisure opportunities that this village offers are numerous: from an excursion to one of the Natural Interest Monuments of Malaga province, like the spot known as "las Angosturas", to a walk to the Fuente del Moro (the Moor's fountain.
Hacienda del Señorio de Cifuentes, situated in the centre of Costa del Sol on Benahavis-Costa, "The new Golf Valley". This development is situated between the three more important "Municipios" in the Costa del Sol: Benahavis, Estepona and Marbella. Benahavis is the new Golf Valley of The Costa del Sol in the municipality of Benahavis, between Marbella and Estepona municipalities. The world famous Puerto Banus is just minutes away, Benahavis is typical white Andalusian white village with a reputation of fine dining. How to get there
Malaga airport is approximately 40 Minutes drive by car; directions and map can be provided.
There are three direct access roads to La Hacienda, directly linking El Paraiso and the coastal road, La Alqueria golf course and San Pedro junction of the main Malaga - Marbella toll road.

The apartment has the benefit of excellent design, optimising the available space and maximising comfort, and is equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating. A large terrace has been incorporated into the apartment, taking account of the outdoor living which is so pleasant in the Costa del Sol's perfect climate.
Both bathrooms have marble walls and floor, underfloor heating and highest standard specification. There are built in wardrobes in both bedrooms for maximum storage. The living area has a beautiful high quality wenge timber dining table for six with can be extended for eight people. The leather chairs to the table offer comfort and a suspended light pendant allows intimacy for any dinner parties you may have. The L-shaped sofa in the lounge allow ease and comfort whilst watching dvds or satellite tv on the large plasma screen, alternatively you can listen to cds or your ipod on the stereo provided.
Further details outdoors: La Hacienda del Senorio de Cifuentes is a luxury complex built to the very highest standards. It lies within 90,000m2 plot with a further 50,000m2 green zone to ensure total privacy and tranquillity. The low rise blocks lie within landscape gardens with a total of six pools and are oriented to the best advantage.
La Hacienda is totally enclosed and has a security guard on its single access gate.
Our apartment is situated on the ground floor, a small terrace to the front of the apartment is only a few steps to one of the complexes swimming pools.
At the rear of the apartment is our 50m2 terrace which retains a welcomed shaded area from the sun. Immediately to the front of our terrace is a grassed area which allows for un-obsrtucted sun bathing. Shared only by one other apartment block. This area has a small retaining fence to avert young children from wandering off the edge.
