Home description

La Finca is ideally located for those holiday makers that want to be close enough to enjoy the fantastic amenities that Puerto Banus and Marbella have to offer, while being far enough away to enjoy a relaxing, secure, self catering family or golfing holiday.

The apartment is built in a traditional Moorish style surrounded by lovely gardens and spectacular views over the golf course, you can also see Gibralta and on a very clear day you can see the tip of North Africa.

You will find the swimming pool 20yrds to the left after leaving the building. A short walk will bring you to the club house where you can dine al fresco or eat indoors in the beautiful restaurant and bar. The staff are extremely friendly.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Families, golfers couples and groups of friends alike will find all they could want for in this picturesque area of Spain. The mountains of the Sierra Blanca are the backdrop to this area of coast which offers National Parks and beaches to explore as well as sophisticated towns such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, San Pedro and Benahavis all within less than 15 minutes. San Pedro has a market on Thursdays and Puerto Banus on Saturdays.


Benahavis / Capanes del Golf area

Benahavis is within 2 minutes drive of the apartment. This is an ancient white village set in the mountains. The small village has many restaurants in the plaza or many haunts dotted around the narrow mountain streets. Most restaurants have terraces with wonderful views to the mountains. If you want a good helping of very good meat then this is the place to come.

San Pedro de Alcantara is only 2km away. You can do your day to day shopping here. There is a large supermarket on the way into town. As the locals you can do all your shopping at very reasonable prices.

Ronda is a beautiful 45 minutes drive through the mountains and well worth a visit. It hangs on the side of a gorge and has many streets filled with shops and restaurants to explore.

Puerto Banus is a ten minute drive away, with exquisite shopping, marina, restaurants and clubs. Mix with the rich and whatch the world go by.

Malaga has flights arriving daily from all London and most regional airports. Monarch Airlines, Jet 2, Easy Jet, and Bmi Baby are among the budget airlines to fly the route.

Gibralta airport is only 50 miles from the apartment and there are various carries that fly there from the UK including Monach and BA.

Malaga airport is serviced by a huge range of car hire companies, with Helle Holis recommended for last minute bookers. Holiday Autos seem to be the cheapest, you can find all car hire companies on the web.

DIRECTIONS:
From Malaga Airport follow signs for E-15 to Marbella for approximately 35K take the right hand slip road A-7 for Puerto Banus, you will pass the casino on the right hand side. Continue until traffic lights and veer right for A-397 Carretera de Ronda. Follow signs for Los Arqueros, approximately 2k. Los Arqueros is on the left hand side, then follow signs for La Finca just past the Golf Club House on the left.

There is also a bus service from the airport to the centre of Puerto Banus where you can hire a taxi to the apartment.

The Location of Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club is set in 250 acres of undulating land at the foot of Andalusia's Sierra Blanca mountains, providing the most breathtaking views across the golf course, which by the way was designed by Seve Balesteros.

The apartment is less than ten minutes drive from the spectacular night-life, restaurants and marina of Puerto Banus and the very cosmopolitan Marbella with its quaint old town, picturesque orange square, with its many al fresco restaurants and designer shops. With an average of over 360 days of sunshine a year & very mild winters, it has been known that you can enjoy temperatures in the 70s in December and January.

This makes for a mainly outdoor way of life, sun-bathing, golf, walking, enjoying al fresco dining or just sitting having a coffee in Puerto Banus marina whilst people watching are possible all year round.
