Benatalaya is located in the new golf valley of Benahavis in breathtaking surroundings, approximately 10 km from Puerto Banus. It is a golfer’s haven. It is situated next to the exclusive golf courses of El Paraiso, and Atalaya, as well as 10 more courses within a 10 minute drive.

Benatalaya boasts a truly stunning situation with panoramic views from the large terraces of the Atalaya golf course and the coast down to Gibraltar, and from the other side to Marbella and beyond to the mountain “La Concha”.

This is a three bed, three bath luxury apartment set in fantastic landscaped gardens, with a choice of five communal swimming pools and a fabulously appointed spa facility that includes a heated indoor pool, gym, Jacuzzi and sauna available to all those staying at this complex.

Bedrooms are all en-suite with bath and/or shower, a very large and spacious living/dining area, fully fitted kitchen, a utility room and terrace. The apartments is furnished to a very high standard.

Benatalaya has very easy access to the toll road, beach and the typical Andalucían village of Benahavis. It is only a short drive from San Pedro, Marbella and Estepona.

With its location in this tranquil golfing valley with mountains and countryside all around it also makes the region perfect for those who like walking and hiking.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

It is 5 minutes drive to Benahavis and San Pedro which are typically Spanish towns with lots of lovely restaurants, bodegas, shops etc. The famous Marina at Puerto Banus and cosmopolitan Marbella with its cobbled streets and Orange Square are within a 10 minute drive. Beautiful Ronda nestling amongst the Sierra Blanca mountains with the oldest Bullring in Spain is reached easily within 45 minutes.

Andalucía is renowned for its top golf courses and the unique sunny and warm winter climate allows golf to be popular all year round. There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucía. By car you can reach Los Naranjos, Aloha, Las Brisas and La Quinta within 10 minutes. Torrequebrada, Mijas Golf and El Paraiso within 20 minutes, Sotogrande and Valderama, (Ryder Cup - 1997, 1999 World Championships) within 40 minutes. Benahavis a mountain village situated between Marbella, Estepona, and Ronda, on the southern face of La Serrania de Ronda mountain range, 7km from coast. The village itself is a delightful pueblo, with narrow cobbled streets, that still keep the original Moorish layout, pretty houses, a few shops and a simply amazing choice of restaurants (of which there are 17 in the village) It is known locally as the Rincón de la Gastronomía.

There are a few little shops for essentials, a pharmacy, 2 banks and several lovely galleries including that of the famous sculptor David Marshall. There are several excellent supermarkets a ten minute drive away.

More than seventy percent of the Benahavis area is officially classified as being of environmental interest. One of the most beautiful parts of the area is Las Angosturas, rich in wildlife and vegetation and ideal for rural tourism, trekking and cycling right through the year.

These days, despite the advent of tourism to the town, it remains a typical Andalucían mountain village with a rich historical past.

There are nine golf courses in the municipality. Part of the success of the game of golf in Benahavis is the wonderful landscape surrounding the courses.

You can be in San Pedro in about 10 minutes and here you will find many delightful shops and there is an excellent market on Thursdays.

Benatalaya is within 2 hours drive of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and its wonderful ski resort where you can hire all the necessary ski equipment. The best months are Jan/Feb/March when the skiing is excellent. It is possible through the winter to ski in the morning and swim in the pool at your apartment in the afternoon! There is so much to offer in this area that a car is highly recommended.
Malaga Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe, all budget airlines fly to this region of Spain.
Benatalaya is a 3km drive inland, along the Guadalmina River (A-7475 Benahavis road) from the N340/A7 coast road near San Pedro.

The property is part of a well run, exclusive gated community with a choice of four outdoor swimming pools and one indoor heated pool. Apartments are set in lavish well maintained fertile gardens.
There are ample sunbathing areas and plenty of sun beds.
