Wonderful holiday home just outside of Marbella in the gorgeous cobbled streets of La Heredia only a 5-10 minute away form Marbella and Puerto Banus.
Its set out over three floors with 3 on suite bedrooms on each floor. It would suit up to 6 people. Because of the layout, it wouldn't feel too big even just for two people. There is a wonderful terrace leading out of the middle floor with sea views (see the pics) and this is where most of the meals are eaten and suntanning done when not at one of the two pools in the complex or the beaches of the Costa del Sol.
The house has all the basic amenities one needs and towels and linen will obviously also be provided. The house and the whole of La Heredia have a wonderful feel about them, authentically Spanish and slightly away from the noise of the very touristy parts, but close enough to access them easily.
There is the most amazing restaurant in La Heredia called La Casita, if you're feeling lazy and don't fancy a drive down to Marbella, San Pedro or Puerto Banus - all within 10 minutes, then this is the place to eat. There's also a bar on site should you fancy a drink. Also, less 5 minutes away is the "Centro Commercial" which has a bank, 2 pubs and a supermarket, open 365 days a week till 1am - so very convenient (as I found out over the Easter weekend when we forgot potatoes for Sunday lunch!)
If you are partial to a game of golf there are loads of wonderful golf courses around, not least of which is Los Aqueros, which is right outside of the La Heredia gates. It was the first golf course to be designed by Severiano Ballesteros. (website hidden)
A 40 minute drive along the same road will take you to Ronda - a city you must visit, it is breathtaking. Its one of the last Moorish outposts and set on the cliffs with the most beautiful bridge (again see pics) and it has world famous tapas as well as one of the oldest bull rings in Spain.
Seville isn't far and there is also the whole of the the Costa Del Sol to explore, Malaga airport is a only 40 minutes away along the coast, so is very convenient. Anything else you would like to know, let me know! Here is a link to some more pictures of La Heredia for your perusal:

About this location
The Andalucia region
Three bridges, "Roman Bridge", "Old Bridge", "New Bridge", span the canyon. The Puente Nuevo is the tallest of the bridges, towering 120 metres (390 ft) above the canyon floor, and all three serve as some of the city's most impressive features.
The 'Corrida Goyesca' is a unique and historical bullfight that takes place once a year in Ronda in the Plaza de toros de Ronda, the oldest bullfighting ring in Spain. It was built in 1784 by the architect José Martin de Aldehuela.
The partially intact Baños árabes ("Arab baths") are found below the city and date back to the 13th and 14th centuries.
American artists Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles spent many summers in Ronda as part-time residents of Ronda's old town quarter called La Ciudad. Both wrote about Ronda's beauty and famous bull-fighting traditions. Their collective accounts have contributed to Ronda's popularity over time.

i stayed at this lovely villa over the easter holiday. the location is great - just outside the cliche tourist resorts, but super close to all the sites (def explore puerto banu and ronda!). the place was huge, welcoming and stocked with everything you need to cook. the terrace is GORGEOUS - a sweeping sea view! the area is safe and everyone we met was really friendly. would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Tucked away in a charming hillside village 'la heredia', this gorgeous well-loved and pretty house suited our stay perfectly. Days were spent around the pool, visiting the local tennis club el madronal, pottering in San pedro, long lunches, drinks on the balcony and out to the glitzy boardwalk of puerto banus. Ideally located for access to Seville, ronda, Marbella beaches, we had a fantastic week and found everything we needed in this comfortable, private and well-equipped house.
