About the home

The villa is very clean and spacious with four bedrooms and three bathrooms over two floors. The resort is unique to the coast with fantastic facilities, beautiful gardens, with a lake, plus leisure facilities including a jacuzzi, sauna, massage area, paddle tennis, squash, tennis courts, children's play area, five indoor and outdoor pools, and pool bar/restaurant . The villa is within easy reach of both Puerto Banus and Estepona.

The villa benefits from a private gym, English Sky TV, a great BBQ area for outside entertaining and is completely private with great views. All the furniture and equipment within the villa is brand new and to the highest standard. The gym includes a brand new spinning bike and various top of the range free weights including bench press and dumb-bells, just in case you feel the urge to do some exercise!!

The gardens are very private and have loungers and a children's swing/slide. There are plenty of games, toys, books, tennis racquets, golf clubs etc to keep everyone occupied along with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry area. Towels and beach towels are provided plus all the bed linen is 100% cotton and brand new.

We have spent the last two summers holidaying here and find it a very relaxing place. We spend our days relaxing in our private garden or one of the lovely pools, or go out to spend the day at one of the many local beaches. The villa is located right between Banus and Estepona so loads of beaches very close.

There are Spanish and English people living at the resort who are very friendly and helpful. Our kids love it there as there is so much to do. Its very safe for kids too as the pools have life-guards. We have spent the last two years furnishing it and we feel we have created a warm family home in a great location.

The villa has a beautifully landscaped private garden which is totally enclosed and safe for children. There are sun loungers, a great patio area with a BBQ and an outside dining area with six seats and two cosy chairs for relaxing. There is also an outside seating area and a children's swing and slide.

The Costa del Sol region

Parque Botanico is located 6km from the coastal attractions and beaches of the New Golden Mile in Estepona, home of Spain´s great hotels, the Kempinski Resort and Las Dunas Hotel & Spa. The brand new Laguna Village and PuroBeach Club (http://www.purobeach.com/) is the closest beach just a short 5 minute drive down to the coast. This is great during the day for relaxing and shopping and a great setting for dining out in the evenings. Its like a small (and less expensive) Banus!

There are many other great restaurants located near the villa. Tikitano on the beach front is superb and great for families. Also you have both Puerto Banus and Estepona marinas both within a short drive of Parque Botanico which are great for shopping, dining, sightseeing etc during the day and come alive during the evenings. There are regular boat excursions from both ports.

It is also in a great location for the many Golf Courses dotted along the coast and there are many things to do to entertain the children. Selwo Safari is just around the corner and is a nice day out for everyone. Also you have Funny Beach which is great for all kinds of aged children and Tivoli World just passed Fuengirola to name a few.

Marbella and Banus are approximately 10km. Malaga airport is around a 45minute drive along the great new AP7 toll road.

Local festivals are a part of Andalucian life and no visit would be complete without the experience, in particular try the carnival festivals that take place in almost every town during Shrove Tuesday. Grapes are harvested in late August and September, and the event, known as La Vendimia, is often accompanied by a fiesta. One of the most famous Vendimias takes place at Manilva at the west of the Costa del Sol.

The Benahavis area

A traditional white Andalucian village, Estepona retains a peaceful atmosphere yet provides you with everything you need for a modern holiday, with a lovely marina, shops, restaurants and traditional bars.

A short walk (0.5km) from the villa is a donkey sanctuary. 4km away there is Selwo safari, Laguna Village with two beach bars, Trader Vics and many shops, an English Deli and hair salon plus Las Dunas 5* hotel with Asian restaurant and top-class spa facilities.

Mercadona, Carrefour and OpenCorr (24hr) supermarkets are all approx. 5kms away. Antigua beach resort is a short drive. For a night on the town Puerto Banus is 12kms away.

Malaga Airport is 8 kilometres west of the city of Malaga and is the main place of arrival for the region. The airport is next to the main A7 coast road that links to the AP7 Autopista del Sol motorway for Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella and Gibraltar to the west.

Many international airlines offer regular scheduled services to Malaga, as well as numerous charter companies. The Spanish state owned national airline, Iberia is Spain's major international carrier. Monarch from Manchester. Jet2 from Leeds Bradford and British Airways from Heathrow.

There are also many car hire companies based within Malaga airport - Hertz, Crown, Avis, Europcar are a few. The villa is a 40minute (71 kilometres) drive along a very good toll-road (AP7). It is also possible to fly to Gibraltar as this is only 45kms from the villa.

“Luxury villa, very peaceful location in easy reach of civilisation!” We have stayed at this villa several times. It a large 4 (double) bedroom property that is very well fitted out and ideally located in the peacful Parco Bontanico development. The property is 15 minutes in a taxi from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Banus (for those who want it), but offers an extremely peaceful and relaxing experience for those who don't.
