The Costa del Sol region
The del Sol is noted for all year round good weather but that doesn't mean that it never rains.
The lively resorts of Puerto Banus and Marbella are within 15 minutes drive.Puerto Banus with its jetset Marina, and both noted for their restaurants and nightlife.
The Benahavis / Atalaya Golf area
Benahavis is a mountain town within 5 minutes drive, known as the gourmet capital of the del Sol, ( Michelle Obama dined there twice ). Also offers good walking oportunities when its not too hot. Casares and Istan are two more white pueblas within easy reach. Mijas famous for its bull fighting tradition and further inland Rhonda a must visit for many reasons.
