Entered through an antique wooden door and sunny flower filled courtyard to the rear of the house, Casa Mireya follows the traditional style of an andalusian pueblo house and is laid out over three floors. The property is furnished and equipped with antique and contemporary pieces to a very high standard and offers plenty of space to relax, unwind, eat and sleep.
The courtyard, outside dining and BBQ at the rear are located next to the kitchen with honesty cupboard, there is also a separate dining room located next to the salon and kitchen with full sky satellite TV and entertainment system, all the rooms open through french doors to a terrace at the front of the property with incredible views. During the summer the sun sets behind the mountains in the distance at around 10.30 PM and this is a fantastic place to sit out in the evening with a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. The bedrooms are located, 3 on ground level opening onto the garden and master suite on the top level, there are no thin uncomfortable mattresses in this house, all the beds are super king size, solid wooden, handmade beds with quality mattresses and egyptian cotton linen with plenty of pillows.
The master suite is indeed quite special with its precious half tester bed, it is quite nice to open the french doors at night, listen to the crickets and look at the stars, lying on the bed has the feeling of being in the sky. The private walled mediterranean planted garden is a great suntrap, located to the front of the property where there are comfortable sunbeds from where you can also sunbathe and enjoy the amazing view, this is a nice quiet area and there is some privacy, children can play safely in the garden when not at the pool however the pool is to the rear of the house and not far away if you fancy a swim.
This truly is a beautifully maintained and special property fantastic for a family and friends get together at any time of the year as the climate is agreeable throughout the year.

La Heredia has a communal pool, padell tennis, the land of a 360 hectare gated estate and The Monte Mayor golf club and course to enjoy.
The atmosphere, tranquility and environment of Monte Mayor is quite different to that which you find on the coast which is a lot more developed, here there is no traffic noise bar the odd car coming through and you can enjoy walking through nature, down to the river valley below or the woods behind, you may spot a deer and can enjoy the birdlife and fauna. It is hard to believe that you are so close to the coast and its facilities yet in this last untouched hidden gem of a valley you really are in a different world. The house is ideal for a family or friends get together where you can come together to enjoy the environment whilst not actually being that far away from the more developed areas, facilities of the coast or the culture within the area, so you have the best of both worlds. La Heredia has a communal pool, the land of a 360 hectare gated estate to enjoy and The Monte Mayor golf club and course.
The main coastal road or motorway can be reached in approx 10 minutes giving access to a wider area however within the vicinity of Monte Mayor are The Marbella Club, 5 minutes away with restaurant and hosting great equestrian events. Ritz Carlton villa padierna, 15 minutes away for a nice treat and spa. Cancelada village, 10 minutes is a traditional village which has retained its local character, there are facilities available in Cancelada, some small local shops, restaurants and tapas bars where you can sit outside. Benahavis the infamous gastronomic capital within the region offers many restaurants and is also approx 15 minutes away. The closest beach is reached through Cancelada and here you have a choice of simply spending a day on the beach or within the comfort of an upmarket beach club.
