About the home

Built in 2005 and fully-equipped with high quality modern conveniences, this is the perfect holiday home for relaxing and enjoying the famous PERIGORD NOIR in a beautiful and comfortable setting. Both apartments open onto a large private deck that offers a panoramic view on the peaceful countryside, and is just a short walk (less than 5 min.) to shops, restaurants and services in the heart of the village.

Three steps up from the living room is the open bedroom with 2 twin beds (80) or King size bed (160x200) looking out on the view! The bedroom can be closed off from the living room by colourful floor-to-ceiling curtain from Pays Basque. Cot and highchair available.

Golfing specials are available through our affiliation with LOLIVARIE GOLF CLUB (18 holes) and LA FORGE GOLF CLUB (9 holes) less than 10 min. driving.
On the large deck nextdoor, facing the spectacular view, the Hostess invites you to discover her many delectable fresh salads and special recipes made from select local products, on sale at the shop with a large selection of products made in the South-West of France (Crockery, paste soaps, colourful linen, walnut oil, wines, etc...)

A well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats.
No smoking except on the balcony
Refundable breakages deposit of €500 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
30% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking. Ask for early payment discounts!
Property not suitable for turbulent children (balcony, sloping garden, stairs)

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

The PERIGORD NOIR is one of the most outstandingly beautiful regions of France. In the valleys of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, close to Lascaux, Sarlat, Beynac, Monpazier and Domme, the PERIGORD NOIR is a stunning blend of prehistoric caves hidden in treecovered valleys, medieval castles dating from the 100 Year War and ancient farmhouses on quiet roads along meandering rivers and wooded hillsides.

The region is perfect walking/cycling and a dream for fishermen and canoeists.

The Belves area

Horseback riding, swimming-pool and tennis courts all offered within the village. Golfing specials available through our affiliation with the LOLIVARIE GOLF CLUB (18 holes) and LA FORGE (9 holes) in nearby Siorac.

Local markets where fresh foods and wines, etc can be sampled and enjoyed are the perfect place to stock up on the area's gastronomic specialities.

The Belvès Tourist Information Office provides maps of the many walks and biking trails available, and has detail of sporting and cultural events in the area.

My vacation at this property was incredible. The apartment is even better than pictured and the description of the amenities is accurate! The suite itself was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean. The location was very tranquil, while still being very close to amenities. The view from the living room and terrace was peaceful and beautiful, there was even a deer walking through the backyard. It was like being out in the country, but on the other side of the house was the village with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and always available for questions. They provided me with an orientation to the suite and the property. They also provided me with lots of good information about activities to do in the area, where to get groceries, and where the markets were and on which days. I felt very much at home during my stay and plan on returning again on my next trip to the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone planning on staying in this region.
