We stayed at the cottage for a university reunion; four thirty something ladies and one toddler! The cottage was just as described and had every amenity that we could have asked for. The accommodation was perfectly roomy, with more than enough space for all of us and the toys which travel with a two year old. We had the fire going both nights, keeping us warm whilst it tried to snow outside. We had a fantastic weekend, and will definitely be returning. |

Lovely position in pretty village. Attractive house with enclosed garden with adequate space for 6 adults. Parking is an issue if your party has more than one car, difficult to unload/load cars without blocking the road. Huge garage but doors do not open fully therefore we were unable to use it. Disappointing not to have any Christmas tree or decoration of any kind. Excellent supply of crockery but not enough cutlery to enable you to have a three-course meal. Only one pillow supplied per bed, eventually found two more but everyone else had to use cushions. No double duvet on one of the double beds, just two singles. Creaky bed woke me every time I turned over. Extremely low doorways on second floor and ceiling on stairs to second floor. |
