From the owner

Purpose built holiday home located in a small town called Belper, in the South of the Peak District, where you can enjoy the great outdoors.

We offer fantastic countryside for many outdoor activities, for example, walking, cycling, amazing golf courses, shooting, quad biking, go carting or horse riding. We can arrange these activities for you in this fantastic part of England, then after your day out relax in our superb hydro massaging hot tub spa that seats 5 people (additional charge), or share a home cooked meal/order a takeaway to eat in the house around our dining table (seats 14 people). We can also arrange to have food prepared for you. Our private garden features a large raised decked area, with great views of the surrounding countryside.

Our small town has a long history; you can find us in the doomsday book under our French title Beaurepaire (beautiful resting place). We are in a world heritage site, located 1 mile from the Strutt Arkwright mills (the first cotton mill in England) and the birthplace of the industrial revolution. We are now a busy market town with good bars, great restaurants, shops and supermarkets just a short walk away. We are a 20 minute taxi ride away from Derby, and 30 minutes from Nottingham, both are great for a night out clubbing or a great day shopping. We are a 40 minute drive from Alton Towers for a day of thrills, and a 40 minute drive from the majestic Chatsworth House and country gardens, which is known as the palace of the peaks. If you have small children we are a 20 minute drive away from the enchanting Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath, another close by wonderful market town. Other nearby places of interest to explore and enjoy include Bakewell, Buxton, Ashbourne.

Whatever your age we know you will have a fantastic stay with us, and we look forward to your visit.
