Church Farm is a recently renovated, grade 2 listed farm house. Edge of the peak district location, and a country kitchen overlooking the Derbyshire countryside. En- suite master bedroom and Luxury king size beds, with a Roll top bath and open plan dining / living.

Walking and cycling routes can be taken directly form the house to explore the Derbyshire countryside, and local area. However a 15min drive into Matlock also provides plenty of opportunity to explore the historic towns of the peak district. Activities are available for all interest within 30 mins of the house, hot air balloon rides, walking, caving, climbing or shopping and coffee in the local towns and villages.

Belper

Fritchley is a small village on the edge of the peak district National Park. A typical Derbyshire village, people wishing to explore the Derbyshire area can set off right form the door step, walking, cycling or mountain biking.

Local pubs and restaurants provide excellent food for all occasions, form a short coffee stop in Crich or Cromford to a romantic meal for two at Baslow hall. Close by towns of Belper, Matlock and Bakewell provide fantastic days out for children and adults.

"One of the most comfortable houses we have stayed in"

My husband and I had a great week here with our 20-year-old son. We chose Church Farm because of its convenient location as we wanted to meet up with family and friends in the area. We really appreciated the warmth and comfort of this beautiful house, particularly as the weather was so wet. With its spacious and well-equipped kitchen and living/dining room it was also perfect for entertaining guests (who were all fascinated by the well under the kitchen). I would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet in beautiful scenery without being too far off the beaten track. Our thanks again to our kind and generous hosts.

"Fabulous Holiday Home from Home"

As soon as you step in Church Farm you can see the care and attention that has been paid to create a luxury holiday home. There is plenty of space and it has been furnished to a high standard. We stayed for a weekend with our two young children and it proved to be a great base for quiet walks in the woods and down by the canal. Set in a small quiet village, it was just the job to recharge our batteries. We our looking forward to our next visit.

"Highly recommend this beautiful cottage in a tranquil location"

I stayed in this cottage for a long weekend with a group of old university friends. It was a fantastic find. Absolutely beautiful, cosy cottage (the photos are accurate) that is maintained to a very high standard. The area is quiet which was perfect for us as we just wanted to spend some time together so weren't looking to go out and about too much though it's only a short drive to the local town which has a supermarket. The owners were very helpful when I booked and the lady who greeted us on arrival was extremely friendly and helpful and said we could call her at any point over the weekend if we had any problems. We were also greeted with two free bottles of wine upon arrival which couldn't have been a better start to a wonderful weekend! I highly recommend this cottage which is suitable for families and small groups of friends.

"Amazing Place"

Amazing Place My Family and I traveled from New England USA, to Church Farm in on day and we could not have landed in a better place. We were made to feel right at home immediately. We were greeted by a very sweet woman who had been waiting for us. Her Children were there with her and they were Angeles. Our children all met and it was so amazing to them get along. We were fussed over to make sure that we had everything we needed. The home was immaculate. Everything looked brand new and beautiful. Old world charm with all the technology you could ever want. The home was warm and cozy and made for an incredible vacation. I have never seen a kitchen so beautiful or bathrooms with such opulence. The grounds and the views are Breathtaking. I hope nothing ever changes in this little neighborhood.

"A beautiful farmhouse in a lovely village"

I stayed in Church Farm for a brief 'family reunion' with my children and grandchildren in April 2012. It is a beautiful old house that has been restored to a very high standard so that it is very comfortable and cosy without losing the charm and fascination of an old building. The house is spacious and extremely well equipped for guests of all ages - and the old illuminated well under the kitchen floor is fascinating for young visitors (but completely safe!!) Fritchley is a peaceful friendly village set in lovely surroundings - we definitely hope to be returning soon - with a bit more time to explore the area properly!

"Beautiful house, everything you could possibly require. Will be going again!"

The family who own this house where excellent with communication and so very helpful. The house was beautiful both inside and outside, lovely bright and clean decoration, lots of space, fantastic water and heating system. Comfortable beds with bedding and towels provided. Fantastic dining area for 8 people. Ample parking on the driveway for 3/4 cars with on street parking available also. Only a short drive into Matlock village for all of your shopping needs. 20-30 min drive in the opposite direction an activity centre for outdoor activities such as paintball, laser tag, quad biking, etc. We were told that the local pub has a fantastic atmosphere which was only a couple of minutes walk away, however we did not get the chance to experience this but will do the next time we come. A few of the guests have already said that they would like to book the house again in the future. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay around the Fritchley area.

"beautiful cottage, great location, amazing "local""

Stayed over xmas period, cottage was decorated festively, with some lovely extra touches. The cottage itself is stunning and full of history, the location was great, some amazing walks around the village and there is a great local real ale barn around the corner, which topped the week off!
