The cottage is a 2 bedroom detatched house (sleeps 5 ) with views over Broadhaven Bay and of Glencastle and Carrowmore mountains The cottage has wooden floors throughout with the bathroom completely tiled. The cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful place and with its traditional turf burning fire,fantistic scenary, making it an ideal place for you to relax and unwind. It is located in a village that has 6 houses,but only 2 of them occupied ( 4 people in total) making it a very peaceful village. There are several sandy beaches nearby,which you will probably have all to yourself, as well several marked walks which take you through some of the most scenic areas of Mayo.

The North West Ireland / County Mayo region
The Erris area of Mayo is an area of unspoilt beauty and mystique and is beginning to become a very popular tourist location. It has numerious sandy beaches with beautiful white sands, several marked walks,most of them circular which take you through rugged mountains,along the beaches and around the lakes.
Belmullet / Erris area
Pullagurane is about 5 miles from Belmullet and about 1 miles from Barnatra. Belmullet has lots of pubs, shops, pharmacies and restaurants, including a chinese and indian. Barnatra has a supermarket,a petrol station a pub and a picnic area at the top of the strand.The Erris area is a fishermans paradise, shore fishing is good almost all year round, there is miles of accessible coastline and lots of deserted beaches guaranteen the fisherman perfect peace. The area is also renowed for its sea angling, with over 40 varieties of fish recorded, Belmullet sea-angling club have all the details and they also run a number of open competions during thr year.

Ireland West (Knock) Airport is 100kms approx. from Cottage The next nearest airports are Galway and Sligo. Shannon airport is approximately three and a half hours drive and Dublin airport about four hours drive. Nearest ferry port is Dunlaoighere ( Dublin).

Further details indoors: The cottage is a 2 bedroom house ( 2 double,1 single bed ). It has a fully tiled bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen and living room are combined and seats five. The kitchen is small and has an a gas cooker, fridge and microwave. The living room has an open fire, wooden floor anda t. v. There is a washer/clothes dryer in the hallway. The whole house is centreally heated by oil.
