Octopus Villa benefits from its own private infinity pool, jacuzzi, gym and beauty treatment room, to treat yourself to a relaxing massage or facial while your here.

Take a trip on the stunning 63' private Sailing Yacht. Cruise around the bay with a cocktail watching the sunset, take a day trip to Mustique and mingle with the rich and famous or stay a night on the yacht and visit the uninhabited, spectacular Tobago Cays, the second largest horseshoe reef in the world and snorkel with turtles or relax and have a bbq on the beach.



Leading from the open living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a daybed, a rocking and hanging chair . The garden has a shaded outdoor dining set to enable you to dine al fresco, as well as a sofa set to relax and loungers to lie by the pool.

The three well appointed, double ensuite bedrooms are perfect for friends, couples or families.
Octopus Villa is located just two minutes drive from the closest beach and five minutes drive to the main town of Port Elizabeth. Quiet and peaceful, the villa has easy access to all amenities, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay, including the local markets for bargain hunting, the beautiful white sand beaches and many excellent restaurants and bars for eating out.

The Villa can accommodate between two and six people.

The main living area has an open plan design with the kitchen, dining room and living room flowing into one elegant space.

From the lounge and dining area there is direct access to the main veranda, terrace and pool area through four sets of French doors making the whole area beautifully light and open with stunning views of the whole bay.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, including American style fridge/freezer with ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave, and Smeg hob and oven.

Two double bedrooms and one double/twin bedroom all have private en-suite shower rooms and French doors leading directly onto the terrace and pool area. Each bedroom is comfortable and tastefully appointed.

The Bequia region

Bequia is not just another Caribbean holiday destination. It is a "big little island" with a proud sea-faring history, active community life and a friendly, independent minded people. Visitors come back time and time again for more of the special Bequia magic.
Bequia offers a wide range of activites, from sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling to sports fishing and day/overnight charters to other islands and cays. Or you can just laze on one of the many beautiful beaches, swimming and snorkelling the unspoilt reefs. There are walking and hiking trails for flora and fauna lovers and for those interested in historic sites, magnificent views of Mustique and the Southern Grenadines can be seen from the mountain tops. Visit the model boat building shops, a trade left over from the days of the great schooner builders and the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, where Brother King rears and releases hawksbill turtles.
You will find restaurants and bars catering to very taste and budget, with live music somewhere on bequia every night-from steel band, soca and West Indian folk to country and western and rythm and blues.
The climate ranges from 70 F - 85F (21C - 29C) in the winter to 75F - 90F (24C - 32C) in the summer.

The highest point of Bequia is Mount Pleasant, which has great views of the ocean and nearby Grenadine Islands. Belmont is halfway to the top of Mount Pleasant, which accords the villa stunnng views across Admiralty Bay.
There are spectacular views of coconut lined beaches and bays. Beauty is everywhere on this little island.
There are countless festivals and activities throughout the year. Some of the most popular are the Bequia Music Fest (end of Jan), the Bequia Easter Regatta (Easter) and the Vincy Mas (Carnival-End of June/beg July).

Bequia can be reached via the following Caribbean gateways: Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada, Trinidad, Martinique and Puerto Rico.

Same day connections from Barbados to Bequia can be made through SVG Air, Mustique Airways and Grenadine Air Alliance. (45 minute flight).

As an alternative to flying directly to Bequia, or if travelling from gateways other than Barbados, flights are available into St Vincent with L.I.A.T, Mustique Airways, or SVG Air.(45 minute flight). Then take the ferry from St Vincent to Bequia (around 50 mins).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Octopus and highly recommend it! Paul and Claire are absolutely wonderful hosts. The villa, infinity pool, facilities, grounds and yacht are just beautiful. This well appointed villa is quite private, in a great location and has a spectacular view of the harbor. The beach and several restaurants are just a ½ mile walk (downhill) and town is just a little farther via the walkway along the water. We kayaked in the harbor, hung out at Jack’s Bar, explored town, went to the Frangipani buffet and jump-up, ate pizza at Mac’s and hiked to the radio tower at the top of the hill. Don’t miss the opportunity to sail to Tobago Cays and snorkel with the turtles and at the reef and see a great view of the Milky Way. Sunset cocktails on a yacht…how good can it get! We did end up renting a car one day to explore the island (the Fort, turtle sanctuary, other communities and bays, etc.) and bought live lobsters at Paget Farm which we grilled at the villa. There are lovely locations on Bequia, but we felt we had the best seats in the house at Octopus. -Best wishes...Tim
