About the home

The property is an original Old Village House which has been architect re-designed in the Ottoman Style.


Very spacious and modern facilities throughout. Antique marble flooring has been laid throughout the Large Lounge, Bedrooms, Terrace, Courtyard and Garage.

The large terrace and Swimming Pool area paved to traditional design with Natural Stone and Cobbles has
the most splendid view of the Abbey, which, when illuminated at night, is truly stunning.
A third bedroom is an annexe situated in the Lower Courtyard ( see photographs).

Facilities

Further details outdoors:
The large Roof Terrace gives panoramic views of the Kyrenia Mountain Range and down to Sea beyond.
There are splendid views of The Abbey from the Front North Facing Balcony. This balcony is quite cool
in hot weather.
The East facing Balcony is overlooking the Swimming Pool, ideal for early morning breakfasts
and evening BBQ.

Further details

It is necessary to negotiate some steps to gain entry to main lounge area and bedrooms, elderly active people
will have no problem with the steps
Facilities are good for children with large paved area adjacent to Swimming Pool. Children under 5 will
require supervision. Not suitable for toddlers or the infirm.
The Swimming Pool is not deep, ranging from 1metre to 1.400 in depth therefore not suitable for diving,
fantastic for learning to swim though.

The Kyrenia region

You are within 10mins drive from Kyrenia with its beautiful Crescent shaped Venetion Harbour, in our
opinion one of the most romantic settings for dining out in the Mediterranean.

There are plenty charming restaurants and bars to spend an afternoon in or enjoy a delecious meal in the evening. Kyrenia is a wonderful place whether you want to relax and enjoy the sun or explore the cost and the architecture of this beautiful region.
N Cyprus is not in the eurozone! more value for your money against turkish lira....

The Bellapais area

Bellapais has all the amenities for a perfect relaxing holiday, a local shop, bar/coffee shop, restaurants 8 in
number provide an excellent cusine of local, continental and european dishes, the local wines are excellent
and inexpensive.

The international Bellapais Music Festival which takes place in the Abbey brings together world famous musicians and preformers every year.

The village nestles in the foothills of the Kyrenia mountain range between Five Fingers mountain and St Hilarion
Castle, an ideal venue for a walking holiday, wildflower walks track down some of the 30 species of wild orchid
that grow here.

Other active options are plentiful, Paragliding from St Hilarion Castle, Scuba diving, Horse riding and various Watersports. Not to forget Golfing on the new international Golf Course some 20 min drive
from Bellapais.
