About the home

Villa Lilovett is one of seven individually designed villas set at the foot of the Besparmak mountains with Mediterranean views.

Located in Lower Bellapais, the villa is ideally situated for all the local attractions. This brand new villa has its own private pool with gardens. The accommodation comprises of 3 double bedrooms, all with air conditioning and floor to ceiling wardrobes, two of the bedrooms have a private balcony. The large master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The kitchen is fully fitted with a large fridge/freezer for any catering needs.
Beautifully furnished throughout.

All 3 bedrooms have air conditioning with full length wardrobes. Two of the bedrooms have a private balcony. The villa is centrally heated for the winter months. The luxury kitchen has all the amenities necessary for any self catering requirements. Marble flooring covers the entire villa. Downstairs has a large WC. The lounge area is air conditioned and has a through aspect with a front veranda and back patio leading to the swimming pool and gardens.

Further details outdoors:
The outside aspect overlooks the Besparmak mountains, with a pretty garden. The pool surround has sun loungers. There is a brick built seating area with outside shower . The large rear patio overlooks the pool and is idea for al fresco dining, with a front veranda for a more formal setting. The villa has its own private driveway with wrought iron entrance gates.

Further details

Booking: A 20% Deposit is required on booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the departure date.

Bond: A bond is held for £100 to cover any breakages or repairs. This is refunded ( if not needed) within 1 week of your return.

The villa is cleaned and made ready for your arrival with a complimentary welcome pack in the fridge.

Any cleaning/laundery services required throughout your stay can be catered for - please enquire at time of booking. These additional services would be charged accordingly.

The villa is non-smoking and no pets.

The Kyrenia region

KYRENIA: Kyrenia is situated on the north coast approximately a 10 minute drive from Villa Lilovett, and has a 6,000 year long history. Kyrenia is the main port and major holiday resort in northern cyprus with one of the prettiest harbours in the Med. It is easy to explore its narrow cobbled alleys and chic pavement cafes and restaurants. Just a few minutes drive away is the fairytale castle of St.Hilarion said to have been the original inspiration for the Walt Disneys 'Sleeping Beauty' castle.

THE KARPAS: The Karpas region is well known for its Byzantine churches, and boasts some of the finest beaches and countryside. The karpas peninsula (pan handle) is the easternmost part of the island where the land tapers into a thin strip which streaches out towards Turkey. This area is well worth a visit.

FAMAGUSTA: This area is on the east coast a delightful old city completely surrounded by well-preserved.
Venetian ramparts. The ancient gothic St Nicholas Cathedral is worth a visit as is the covered market where you'll smell every spice you can imagine. Salamis is a little further up the coast with the remains of a Graeco-Roman city , complete with baths, meeting places and amphitheatre.

BEACHES: There are a number of beaches within driving distance, Dezi Kizi Club and Acapulco Beach Club are the closest.

The Bellapais area

Villa Lilovett is located in lower Bellapais close to the village of Ozankoy. Central Bellapais holds one of the main attractions in the area the 'Bellapais Abbey'. Founded at the end of the 12 Century the villiage has narrow streets and local shops creating the feeling that you are still in old Cyprus.

There is an old tree in the small square called the Tree of Idleness which has become the symbol of Bellapais village. The area is ideal for walks and local tours are held every Sunday between October and the end of April and twice a month between the summer months from May to the end of September. St. Andrews is a United Reform church situated in the centre of Kyrenia.

Option 1 - fly to Ercan airport in the north with a touch down in Turkey. Taxi transfer to the villa is 30 minutes.
Option 2 - fly direct to Larnaca airport in the south. Taxi transfer to the villa is 1Hr 20 minutes. (£35 each way)

Car Hire - We have secured a competitive daily/weekly rate. Airport transfer costs £25 this is wavered if you hire a car (from Ercan). It is strongly recommended to use the transfer service as the villa is hard to find on the first visit.

Dear John,

Had a fantastic time in Cyprus, the villa was excellent, beautifully designed and spacious. We really feel in love with it, especially the swimming pool.......... you have a five star villa.

Mehmet and Mariam (gardener and cleaner) were very welcolming and went out of their way to make our visit extra special. They prepared a traditional meal for us and gave us a tour of Kyrenia. We enjoyed a meal together as well at the harbour on our last night. Please pass on our heartfelt tnaks for their kindness.

I will be in touch next year to make another booking.

Hope you are doing well.

Could you please pass on to your father my thanks for letting his beautiful villa to myself, Dawn and our daughter Charlotte. We had a fantastic holiday and thought the Villa was out of this world. It was beautifully maintained and furnished with everything you need. The weather was great and the pool was fantastic also. On behalf of Dawn, Charlotte and myself please give him a huge thank you from us all and we would love to go back again sometime in the future.

Memhet, Marium and their 2 children were fantastic and were extremely helpful and very courteous. They made us some beautiful traditional Turkish dishes.

Your Mother and Father have a wonderful villa that is extremely well maintained with everything you need. His help before we went was lovely.

Northern Cyprus is beautiful and myself and my family can not say a bad word about the place or the people who live there.

Take care and I hope we will talk again in the future with regards to some bookings in either Cyprus of Cornwall.
