With Apartamento Il Sogno di Bellagio (meaning the dream of Bellagio) you have it all. Just a few metres from one of the the piazzas with its wonderful cafes and restaurants, yet just tucked away up an authentic stradina to give you peace and quiet when you feel the need to get away. The property is only a minute's walk away from the ferry terminal meaning a car is not necessary for your holiday or if you do have a car, giving you greater flexibility to see the sights around the lake. Although there is no allocated parking with this property, there are plenty of parking places available close by.
A few steps up a pedestrian cobbled walkway you will reach the entrance to the two hundred year old building which once famously housed the only casino in the area. Through the large wooden doors and up two flights of stairs you reach the apartment.
Through the door you will immediately be struck at the space and comfortable feel of the apartment with its long hallway stretching from one end of the property to the other, effectively splitting the apartment into two zones. On the lake side you have the two double bedrooms and lounge/dining room and on the garden side you have the bathroom and separate laundry room. Despite its central location the apartment is very quiet and peaceful due to its elevated position and double glazed windows on the lake side. Bellagio is also mainly pedestrianised and as such traffic noise is at a minimum.
In the large foyer area there are floor to ceiling storage units, a flat screen TV/DVD and a leather sofa which converts to a bed, sleeping one adult or two children comfortably. There is a folding, removable screen to provide privacy when this area is used as a bedroom/dressing room. The parquet flooring and muted lighting give this area a relaxing feel, making it an ideal space for sleeping in, reading or simply watching the TV.
Proceeding down the hallway the first door on the right is to the first of the two double bedrooms. This room has modern white bedroom furniture making it a light and bright room with amazing views of the lake through the window. The rich jewel tones of the linens and accessories compliment the white background perfectly. For your entertainment there is also a flat screen TV/DVD should you ever tire of the lake views and there is air con for your comfort.
The next room on the right down the hall leads to the second of the double bedrooms. Slightly larger than the other bedroom, the gold colour scheme in here compliments the teak furniture and the wrought iron bed frame giving this room a romantic ambiance. There are two armchairs for relaxing in and a TV/DVD as well as the wonderful lake vistas from the window. There is also air con in this room.
The last door on the right down the hallway brings you to the rather grand living and dining room. The sleek and modern furniture in shades of white perfectly reflects the light flooding through the French windows. The style of this room is further enhanced by the large, formal dining table which seats six comfortably and is lit overhead by a chandelier. This space is ideal for entertaining in with the lake as an ideal backdrop through the French windows which open onto the balcony. Should you ever find yourself drawn away from the stunning lake views there is a large flat screen TV and DVD for your entertainment and comfortable sofas for lounging on.
At the end of the hallway is the newly fitted kitchen and informal dining room. The galley-style kitchen is light and the sun floods through the window which overlooks the gardens and the park at the rear of the property; here there is an abundance of flowers, mature trees and shrubs and it is a great place for a picnic. The kitchen, though compact, is well equipped with fridge freezer, oven and hob and dishwasher. The adjoining informal dining room is the ideal place for having breakfast in and the large window looks out onto views of the park and the lake.
Back down the hallway is the bathroom - a bright and sunny room in shades of yellow and white. The contemporary hand basin and vanity unit in rich jewel tones is also accented in the towels and accessories. The separate laundry room is located next to the bathroom and has a washing machine for your convenience.
Il Sogno di Bellagio is the perfect choice if you want generous and stylish accommodation in the heart of the town. The excellent facilities and lakeside setting will ensure you have a holiday to remember in a dream location.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 25% is payable once we have confirmed your booking. This can be paid by Visa, Mastercard or Bank transfer. The balance is then payable one month before arrival, by Visa, Mastercard or Bank transfer. A modest charge is made by the owner for heating, it is metered and paid on departure. An average apartment will cost around 50 euro per week for heating. A deposit to cover breakages will be collected/returned by the owner on arrival/departure. The amount will be confirmed in your arrival pack.

We were welcomed by the very friendly owners upon our arrival at Il Sogno in October and they were always helpful. This beautifully decorated apartment was very comfortable and the perfect accommodation for five people. The living room/dining room was our family meeting place every day. We alternated going to the markets each morning for breakfast items and everyone helped themselves at their leisure in the kitchen. We enjoyed views of the lake from the front windows and, from the moment we stepped out the door, we were in close proximity to all that the town had to offer, i.e., ferries, cafes, restaurants, hotels, shops, etc. (including daily exercise going up the steps to the pasticceria and gelateria). We had five days of beautiful weather, rode the ferries to towns on both sides of the lake, strolled through a number of Villas, and enjoyed many restaurants.
