The apartment, recently renewed with elegant furnitures and furnitures, is composed by 1 comfortable double bedroom, 2 comfortable single bedrooms (1 with 2 single beds and 1 with 1 single bed), kitchen completely fitted (gas and electric oven, microwaves oven, dishwasher, fridge with deep fridge section, toaster, necessary utensils), bathroom with shower, sitting room, service room with washer.

Furthermore the apartment offers: hair dryer, television with terrestrial digital channels receiver, high speed Internet connection (3 Mbs) with free usage desktop computer, open air private parking closed during the night but not under surveillance.

Water, light, gas, towels and linen, final cleaning are included.

Heating is available during winter time and included in price.

Magreglio History and Curiosities

Magreglio lays as a natural balcony upon Lecco lake and it's surrounded by the mountain peaks of mount San Primo chain and looking directly on Grigne mountain chain.

This position makes the town an ideal choioce for winter and summer tourism, this last one has been an economic propulsion since the beginning of last century as a holiday place for important Milan families, in Magreglio it's present the summer residence of the family of Eng. Nicola Romeo, the world famous car vrand founder.
br /> The creation of a sanctuary dedicated to the Holy Virgin Protrectess of the Cyclists during last century 50's, thanks to the idea of parish priest Don Ermelindo Viganò at that time responsable for the sanctuary, has represented an important point in the town history, town that now is visited by lot of professional and amateur cyclists that come from Italy and all over the world to visit Ghisallo church and paying homage giving as a present their sport relics.

The town is the ideal starting point for long excursions through the mountains or for trips around lake Como and Lecco.


Piano Rancio and Parco monte San Primo Excursions and winter sports

From Magreglio is possible to start lot of excursions towards mountains looking either on lake Lecco and lake Como.

Lake Lecco side is for easy walkings and offers the posssiblity of relaxing among the woods and in the same time enjoy the beatiful views on lake Lecco and Bellagio peninsula.

The side towards lake Como is characterized by alpine flora and it's possible to reach heights around 1600 mt. till mount San Primo peak.

At Piano Rancio is present an amusement park for children and teenagers based on the use of ropes between conifers woods, furthermore there a lot of typical restaurants offering dishes based on polenta and wild games.

Lambro river spring, called "Menaresta", is located at Piano Rancio; the name derives from the fact that the water springs at timed intervals.

During winter months at park mount San Primo is possible to practice ski using the skilifts and cross country ski.



Ghisallo, champions hill Legend and Relics

Ghisallo sanctuary was born as a protection church at the passage between Magreglio valley and road to Bellagio around 16th century and built by an unknown earl of Ghisallo as a thanksgiving to the Holy Virgin for the protection given during an attack by bandits infesting the surroundings.

Thanks to the idea by Don Ermelindo Viganò, local parish priest and sanctuary responsable, in the 50's of last century the sanctuary became dedicated to the Holy Virgin Protectress of Cyclists; between most devoted we must remember champions like Fausto Coppi, Gino Bartali and Fiorenzo Magni that actually is the founder and director of the Cycling Museum that lays a few meters from the sanctuary.



Bellagio, "Lake Como's Pearl" History, Art and Shopping

Bellagio, called "Pearl of the Lake" too, is a little town laying on the omonynous peninsula and in historic times town of fishermen and handicrafters and still surrounded by the patrician and noble families villas, owned by the families that have marked Bellagio history.

Villa Serbelloni now property of Rockefeller foundation, Villa Trotti, Villa Gerli, Villa Melzi d'Eril and its beatiful gardens.

The central part of the town deserves a visit for the atmosphere, San Giacomo cathedral buolt in romanic style, the "Punta" view on lake Como northern part, the promenade and it's bars in Belle Epoque style.

Lot of shops are of interest, fashion and accessories made will the well known Como silk are offered.

From Bellagio is possible to start lot of excursions around the lake for the nearest points of interest: Menaggio, Varenna, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia, Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta.



Menaggio and Varenna patrician villas

The short distance to Bellagio, 15 minutes, and the possibility of reaching different lake Como points by ferry or hydrofoil offer the possibility to visit points of historical and landscape interest.

Menaggio with his promenade, Varenna ancient fishermen town and architecture jewel laying directly on the shores of the lake and the nearby Villa Monastero.

The very famous Villa Balbianello with his magnificent terrace surrounded by columned pathio and the beatiful gardens.

Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, of which is possible to visit the indoor with its beatiful furnitures and the marvellous italian style garden.

By touristic boats it's possible to make excursions along lake Como coast to admire other characteristic towns looking directly on the lake: Lezzeno, Nesso, etcetera.


Como and Cernobbio the other side of Lake Como

The town of Como is easily reachable either by car or bus and owns lot of parking facilities.

Ideal point for shopping with his wide possibility of choice but full of architecture jewels as the romanic cathedral whic interiors and exteriors express this style at best.

The cathedral square with its cafes, the promenade walking and lot of little squares and narrow characteristic streets in center town.

The town of Cernobbio is located at 10 minutes by car from Como at is famous for his hotels like Villa d'Este one of the best on lake Como and for the celebrities living in the nearby as George Clooney in the near town of Laglio.

In Bellagio is possible to rent a car for only one day too or travel by the lake using the lake ferries and hydrofoils transport service.

Bellagio Ghisallo Apartment is located in Magreglio, a little characteristic mountain town at 700 mt. upon sea level, at the feet of Mount San Primo peaks and at the top of Bellagio Lake Como edge.

The town is at 15 minutes car distance from Bellagio, called "Pearl of the Lake" too, and 30-45 minutes distance by car and ferry from the other main localities at Lake Como like Varenna, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia, Menaggio, Como and Lecco.

This lucky position makes the town the ideal starting point for trips and excursions on the mountains and at the lake.

Upon leaving the airport take the ramp to Milano-Varese/Milano/Busto Arsizio then merge onto SS336 and take the exit onto A8/E62 toward Milano/Como-Chiasso and then take the exit onto A9/E35 toward Como.
Exit Como Sud and follow directions to Erba - Canzo/Asso and then Magreglio.

From Linate airport (Milan)
Follow directions to Brescia/Venezia/Linate then merge onto A51 and then merge into Tangenziale Nord/A52 (signs for Torino/Como/Lecco).
Take the exit toward Annone and follow directions to Erba - Canzo/Asso and then Magreglio.

From Orio al Serio airport (Bergamo-Milan)
Follow directions to Milano/Lecco, in Lecco follow directions to Erba - Canzo/Asso - Magreglio.
