Enjoy a 'home away from home' in Belfast's safest and most cosmopolitan neighbourhood. You'll have the perfect base to explore Belfast and Northern Ireland in a charming Victorian house where old-fashioned features mix with modern comfort and luxury.

The house is certified as a B&B with the Northern Irish Tourist Board, meeting strict statutory requirements as a provider in NI.

Set over three floors, the house is spacious, bright, inviting, carefully decorated throughout and offers 4 bedrooms. A hearty, organic breakfast includes quality museli, locally produced yogurt and honey, home made bread and jams and fresh fruit. You'll have access to the dining room, kitchen and covered garden on the ground floor. Upstairs, you'll find the modern bathroom and the bedrooms.

All bedrooms have very comfy beds ranging from single to king size, are bright, welcoming and cosy with a range of colour schemes. Each room has plenty of books and relevant reading materials for travelers including maps and guides. Each room has clean white linens, towels and toiletries including a white house-coat and slippers, a desk, electric blanket, tea/ coffee making facilities and wifi.

The house is located on a very quiet residential street in the heart of Belfast's Ormeau Road - a safe, family-friendly and diverse area where you can find great restaurants and cafes, contemporary bars and traditional pubs. Only 15 min walk into the very centre of the city which provides easy access to the Titanic Quarter, the Cathedral Quarter and the Linen Quarter. From the city centre, the Gaeltacht Quarter is a short walk away giving access to the murals, the Peace Walls and the political walking tours of the the Falls and Shankill. 10 minutes away from Ardmore B&B is the Ormeau Park, Queens University, Botanic Gardens, Ulster Museum, Lyric Theatre. The city centre bus stop just outside the house will take you into town in no time. The main bus and train stations are a 10 minute drive from the B&B.

I'm a Belfast native and have lived abroad and travelled the globe. I love welcoming people to the city and to my home and look forward to making your trip special. I have worked in Universities, Colleges, City Councils, Voluntary and Community Sectors and have a lifetime of community development involvement including Peace building, Community Relations, Personal Development and Management Development. I am happy to provide city tours outlining the history of the Conflict, and visits to explore the cultural and artistic legacy of the City. Equally, I can provide a safe and secure place where guests may have an opportunity to reflect on life and have access to Life Coaching and Personal Counselling.

"At Ardmore, you couldn't ask for more."

"Home away from home"

Brigid runs a beautiful homely B&B in a great location. The terrace house is located just off the Ormeau Rd and walking distance (15/20mins) into the city centre but there is a bus stop close by.
I stayed at Ardmore B&B for a month while I was looking for somewhere to live in Belfast. I stayed in the yellow attic room which was lovely and cosy. I had everything I needed and more including dressing gown, tea/coffee making, radio, WIFI, electric blanket, lovely warm comfy bed and even slippers!
Brigid welcomes you into her home and lets you come and go as you please after sitting you down for a lovely cuppa and chat. She shows you the kitchen - extensive range for breakfast (which you can make yourself when it suits you), the shared bathroom and your room. She has extensive knowledge of Belfast and NI in general and has maps handy and tips on where to go and what to do. Brigid also seems to have interesting people staying with her which adds to the wonderful atmosphere in the house.
Everything you need is handy and Brigid really does go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. I definitely recommend staying with Brigid when you are in Belfast!
