The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
The Costa Brava - the 'wild coast' - is where Catalonia's pine forested hillsides meet rugged cliffs interspersed with bays of golden sand. Despite its name, the Costa Brava is sheltered by the Pyrenees and enjoys a hot, sunny climate - the sandy beaches are perfect for family holidays.
The region has so much to offer - culture-lovers will want to see Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, as well as numerous historical sites, ancient villages, museums and art galleries. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy windsurfing, sailing, diving, horse riding, tennis and golf while other visitors will want to take it easy and enjoy the local Catalan cuisine and top quality regional wines.
Begur area
Nestling between the Gavarres hills and the beautiful coastline lies the hilltop town of Begur. The town is marked with a medieval castle and is full of colonial style houses and old fishermen's huts. Visitors come to Begur to soak up the historic culture or to engage in some popular activities the town has to offer including hiking, cycling or a more relaxed stroll through the cobbled streets.
Begur offers a wide range of restaurants serving their traditional coastal cuisine of 'sea and land' dishes and Platillos. The neighbouring town 'Pals' is another medieval hilltop town full of culture and activities to suit all tastes.

Further details indoors: This stylish quality villa has a large living-dining room with satellite television and music centre. Large modern kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Three bedrooms (two with air-conditioning units*): two with double beds and one with twin single beds. One en-suite bathroom and a further separate bathroom.
*£45 per week supplement for A/C.
Further details outdoors: Sun terrace to front, and shaded dining terrace to side. Established lawned garden. Barbecue. Private swimming pool (7.5m x 4m). Off-road parking (or street parking for low-chassis vehicles).
Please note: Single lady owner is occasionally in residence in separate studio on lower level, but clients' privacy is not affected as all living areas are separate.

A welcome pack can be provided, the cost is £30. Cots & highchairs available to hire, £19/£12 per week. Guests need to take their own pool/beach towels. English speaking local contact on hand to help if you have any questions during your stay.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking inside the villa. £150 refundable breakage deposit paid with balance. Refunded when you return from your holiday. 25% deposit to secure booking, unless holiday is less than 10 weeks away then the full balance will be due.
