The villa, which is approached buy its own drive, is set in lovely landscaped gardens having extensive lawns surrounding the swimming pool and parking for at least three cars in a shaded area. The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

Osta Brava
Costa Brava is well known for the package holiday destinations such as Lloret del Mar and Tossa del Mar in Southern Costa Brava. The real Costa Brava is a diverse region of extraordinary natural beauty and cultural heritage (Dali, Picasso, Romanesque art, Roman Ruins).

Attractions include many beautiful beaches and coves, facilities for adventure sports, mountaineering and rock-climbing. It has a highly rated, distinctive cuisine, a rich heritage of Romanesque art, natural parks and the nearby Catalonia Pyrenees ski resorts.

The rugged appearance, warm seas, small sandy bays, and temperate climate are features that make the Costa Brava one of Europe’s most picturesque and popular tourist centres.

Part of the coastal region of Cataluña in northeast Spain, the resort area extends some 125km along the Mediterranean Sea, from the French border at Port-Bou to the Spanish resort of Blanes.

The Costa Brava, with it's mix of rugged coastal scenery and quaint fishing villages, is one of the most popular locations for holiday villas in Spain.


Begur / Aigua Blava area

The nearest beach is within easy walking distance at just 1.1km from the villa. There is also a supermarket and restaurant in the immediate area. The beaches by Fornells harbour and its 5* hotel along with the picturesque beach of Aiguablava are just a few minutes’ drive away. The old town of Begur with its many sites by day, superb choice of restaurants and varied nightlife is 5km from the villa.

The main living accommodation is on the ground floor with the exception of a first floor studio / balcony area accessed from the kitchen / diner by a staircase. The build quality, fixtures, fittings and contemporary furnishings are of the highest standard throughout. In the centre of the house, accessed by large double patio doors, there is a modern fully fitted open plan kitchen / dining room benefiting from modern stainless steel appliances including an American style fridge-freezer, a ‘Range’ cooker with extractor, a dishwasher and a microwave oven.

Next to the kitchen there is a very large sitting room with feature open fire fireplace. It is furnished with modern, comfortable leather sofas, easy chairs and high quality furniture. Entertainment here is provided by English Sky TV in addition to Spanish channels, a DVD Player and stereo system. Doors from the lounge and kitchen give access to the bedrooms via passageways either side.

There are three double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms in total, all having comfortable beds, quality furniture with bedside tables and fitted wardrobes. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans and double patio doors to the terrace and gardens. Two of the bathrooms also have separate power / massage showers. Internal stairs from the hallway lead down to the spacious basement where there is a Utility room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.

In addition there is a large games room in the basement with table tennis, table football and America Pool table. The first floor balcony/studio area, which extends to a full roof top solarium, is idea for relaxing and taking in the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean coastline.

Further details outdoors:
Patio doors from all the bedrooms, the lounge and kitchen/diner lead out onto a full length terrace having steps to beautiful expanse of well kept mature gardens and lawns. The feature 12m x 6m swimming pool which has roman steps for safe easy access is set in well kept lawns. Pool heating is available at an extra cost.* The brick built Barbecue and Patio furniture are provided to experience ‘Alfresco’ dining in this wonderful setting. Sun beds and parasols are also provided to relax by the pool.

Off road parking is available for at least three cars to the side of villa, shaded by trees. The villa is totally private and not overlooked in anyway. It is without doubt one of the most prestigious properties in the area. We are very proud to have this as a ‘flag-ship villa in Costa Brava. *Due to the size of the pool and the fact that it is not covered, pool heating will have a minimal effect, especially in the early weeks of the season. No guarantee of its effectiveness can be given.

There is a 25% deposit due to secure the booking. This can be paid by credit or debit card (there is a 2% charge for credit cards)
