Los Nisperos is a beautifully equipped Catalan style villa, completed and furnished to a very high standard. The villa is nestled into the mountainside above Sa Tuna, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is surrounded by extensive, well maintained landscaped gardens providing areas of interest, shade and a high degree of privacy.
The accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms (3 doubles and 1 twin), 2 en-suite bathrooms, 1 family bathroom and downstairs wc. Downstairs are the kitchen and open plan living/dining area. Two sets of French doors lead to open and covered terracing with BBQ where there is an additional table and seating for al-fresco dining. One bedroom suite is located downstairs and is ideal for guests. There are large terraces on both floors to enable you to take full advantage of the stunning views.
Because of the design and location of the villa, the inside remains cool throughout the summer season. The villa lends itself to quite family holidays, but is large enough to cater for family reunions or joint family holidays.

Because of the design and location of the villa, the inside remains cool throughout the summer season, but there is the added benefit of a remote control ceiling fan in the living area.

There is an 8 x 4m pool with shower to the side of the property, ample sunbeds and comfortable chairs. Next to the pool is a covered barbecue area with a sink.
A highlight of this property are the extensive landscaped gardens, affording a high degree of privacy and maturity, with many shrubs, trees and a waterfeature.
Due to the mountainside location, the gardens are terraced providing different areas of interest and nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of tropical plants and different species of bird.
There is a stone table and bench located under the dappled shade of the pine trees, ideal to escape to in the heat of the day.
Off road parking is available, plus use of the double garage to park your vehicle.

We provide all linen and a set of towels per guest, however guests must bring their own beach towels.
Conditions
The rental prices quoted are for the villa and grounds for 1 week, up to a maximum of 8 people. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before your departure. A £250 refundable secutiry deposit is required, payable with the final balance. The security deposit, less and breakages or damage, will be returned to you within 14 days of your return.

Located in the heart of Empordà, the town of Begur and its beaches are, in our opinion, one of the most wonderful spots on the Costa Brava. The striking silhouette of the medieval castle overlooks the town and numerous monuments have been left as legacies of significant moments in the town's history. There is eight coves and small beaches belonging to Begur and even more further afield. The dazzling blue sea and golden sands and the natural surroundings combine to make Begur an unbeatable place to visit.
The climate in the Costa Brava is welcoming pretty much all year round. Its summers are hot without being oppressive and July & August boast average highs of 29°C
The Begur / Sa Tuna area
Begur has supermarkets, cafes, banks, boutiques, tourist information office and pharmacies. For an evening out, there are numerous restaurants and chic nightclubs. There are a number of fiestas in Begur and surrounding towns throughout the season. These are a great day out and we would recommend checking with the local tourist office for dates.
The places of interest are many and varied: stroll around the larger towns of Roses or Palamos, take a trip into charming Girona, situated on the river, with its cathedral and old quarter, or enjoy a day in Barcelona visiting the sights or shopping. The villa is centrally located for a number of popular golf courses. There are also many beautiful coastal walks nearby, leading to places of interest with spectactular views.
The local tourist office is happy to provide full details and maps of the walks, local area activities and markets. Further afield you could take a long drive through the nearby Pyrenees and discover the principality of Andorra (approx 5 hrs). A hive of activity during the winter skiing season, this area is also a wonderful place to visit in the summer for the scenery and excellent duty free shopping.The picturesque cove of Sa Tuna is the local beach, although there are many other beaches and tranquil coves to choose from, Platja de Pals, Tamariu, Calella and Llafranc to name but a few. The fishing harbour of Palamos and the cosmopolitan Platja d'Aro are only 30 minutes' drive if you want a change of pace.

| Airport: | Girona |
The nearest airports are Girona (40 minutes) and Barcelona (90 minutes). Both airports are serviced by various low cost airlines. You can choose to drive through France and into Spain, the journey takes approx 12 hours from Calais (approx 800 miles). The journey can be made almost entirely on motorway, or you can choose a more scenic route if you prefer, although this will take longer. To make the most of your stay on the Costa Brava we strongly recommend the use of a car.

Everything was first class and the sea view is better than the pictures indicate. The drive is steep so 1.0 litre Corsa not ideal to get up it! Would really benefit from internet access. |

We were 2 families of 4 with children aged between 6 and 8 and this villa was perfect. The property is very spacious and furnished to a high standard, the photos do not do it justice. It is set in a really quiet hillside valley with a few other houses / villas. The gardens are beautiful and well kept - they are terraced and you can just about see the sea between the trees. The driveway is very steep. You definitely need a car as the house is in a hilly position and you need to drive everywhere. The area surrounding the villa has many beautiful towns and beaches to visit. We stayed for 2 weeks and visited a different beach every day. |
