Set in Clapps Lane, just off the main street leading to the centre of Beer, only a few minutes walk to the beach.

Porch entrance with Gas meter cupboard and slatted shelves to leave your shoes. Large sitting /dining room with laminate floor, two large brown leather sofas, one 3 seater and one 2 seater. Open fire place for those cold evenings. TV/Video/DVD. Stereo ipod connection (bring your own ipod.) The dining area has an antique pine table with 6 leather backed dining chairs and patio doors to the garden. Adjacent to the dining area is a cream Shaker style kitchen with laminate ‘granite type’ work surfaces, modern coloured wall tiles and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer. Gas hob and electric oven. 1 ½ bowl sink with mixer taps.

Family Bathroom: White suite of bath, over bath power shower, toilet and wash basin, medicine cabinet and airing cupboard.
Bedroom 2: Double pine bed with fitted wardrobe, matching pine side tables with lamps and chest of drawers. Polished pine floor boards.

Location was good-- short stroll to village and beach- roomy enough for 4 adults and 2 children--all kitchen gadgets well maintained and immaculate --lounge area welcoming -- it was " lived in " rather than immaculate which fitted the period of cottage -- garden was good for drinks and lunches -- a bit of TLC on garden could make it stunning - the 3rd storey is a bit awkward cos of sloping walls -- but quite cute! --- staircase to 3rd storey very steep, so I would not put children there -- a few stains on carpet which ,if cleaned, would make huge difference, as everything else so pleasant. We really enoyed it -- lovely walks nearby, including easy access to Pacorama which is great. Loved Beer very nice holiday. Letting cvompany local and very helpful |
