About the home

Beccles, a popular holiday destination, is a pretty market town set on the River Waveney. An ideal base to sail up the river to take in the beautiful Norfolk Broads or visit the sandy beaches of Suffolk. As well as boating and riverside walks, there is golf, swimming and a wide variety of eating places and shops. Beccles also has a train station. The town itself is dominated by the detached 16th century bell tower of St Michael's Church. It was in this church in 1749 that the mother of Horatio Nelson, Catherine Suckley married the Rev Edmund Nelson, a former curate of Beccles.

Perfectly situated for holidays enjoying both Norfolk and Suffolk, Waveney Town Apartment is a first and second floor flat in the heart of Beccles. The property is comfortably furnished and is in an ideal location in the town centre, within walking distance of the river and Beccles Quay, the station, and also the wide choice of independent and multiple shops, bars and eating places. Parking: Car park behind property. Owner will provide a free permit for one car which is valid in all car parks in Waveney area for all full week bookings.
Heating: Gas central heating.
Notes: The ground floor hallway would be suitable for bike storage.
