Swimming Pool, Table Tennis, swing ball. Manor House lounge with sky tv, internet wifi throughout, full catering and baby sitting. French period designed rooms, largest can sleep upto 5 people (2 adults on super king bed + 3 children with extra beds). Restaurants, bars, shops few minutes drive~ Wine tasting Chateaux and tours are numerous and plentiful in the area~ River Lot and Garonne for boating and fishing.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Lot et Garonne region

Located in the picturesque Lot et Garonne region famous for Foie Gras and prunes at Agen and the Toulouse Sausage. Foie Gras museum 5 kms away and Agen 20 kms away. Fantastic Cahors wine region, stunning areas surrounding the river Lot.

Beauville / Blaymont area

We are just 5 or 6 minutes, by car in several directions, before you find either a small bastide town with local amenities, or local markets. We are 5 minutes drive from the village square of Beauville with its Boulangerie, bank, pharmacie, small restaurant with sun-terrace for drinks, crepe shop and tourist office, mini supermarket. A 15 minute stroll to the local small reservoir for sunbathing and paddling., or a short drive to the waterpark "Park Walibi" with rollercoaster rides etc. Or, 20 minutes from the shopping high street of Agen and the lovely chocolatier shops, french linen shops, fashion boutiques and cafes, restaurants and bars and of course the main railway station which is a hub of activity.

Local wine-tasting, golf courses, horse-riding, fishing, "Park Walibi" "Parc en ciel" (tree top climbing adventure park for 3 years upwards (some is really difficult and very high trees for the 16+ age range!), Foie Gras tasting & museum, local Brocants and Antique faires. Chateau tours for appreciation of architecture and history. River Lot navigation on short boat trips from Agen to St Sylvestre. Plus much more........

How to get there

Located within one hour from the A20 at Cahors along the scenic D656 towards Agen. No frills EasyJet or classic British Airways to Toulouse, or alternatively Ryan Air to Bergerac is a lovely 50 minute drive past vineyards and hamlets.

Brittany Ferries provides good services from the south coast ports in the UK for those driving. Pets can stay in the car for the 3.5 hour crossing from Portsmouth to Caen, and we welcome pets here at no extra charge. Just remember to inform us.

If your driving up from Spain, then we are an hour north of Toulouse and a great stop over location if your ultimately heading for UK.

B&B has two double bedrooms inside the Manor House , continental breakfast included. Fullboard/Halfboard dining optional extra.
B&B rooms are luxurious and decorated in traditional period style, both with en suites and stunning countryside views. Largest room can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children with notice utilising additional sofabed & camp bed.

Across the courtyard is our luxury Gite/Stone Cottage. Please enquire for details.

Wheelchairs can freely move around the house and bedrooms and grounds, although all the w.c. rooms are small and will not accommodate the wheelchair.

Shaded garden area for those who wish to escape the full sunlight. Excellent area for mother and small babies, or those wishing to read whilst lazing in the hammock.

Sun-trap swimming pool area is divine with the numerous parasols and cool clear water. Shallow end for children with steps into the pool.

The 52 acre estate has a walking trail map across our fields and down to a small stream which marks our borders then back up through the woods and along the lane leading back to the house. Numerous deer, birds (some rare), and wildlife are abundant.

Further details outdoors:
All meals served on the sunny welcoming terrace with option of dinner menus & wine list. Idyllic position in the french countryside, great location for walking on and off the estate, with local fishing in nearby lake and rivers.

Basketball net, table tennis, swing ball, bicycles (2 adults and 2 child and crash helmets (small charge for adult bicycle hire). There's something to keep all the family amused.

Plus lots of activities for tourists in the Lot et Garonne region like wine tasting, bastide villages to visit ........

Two spacious luxury double bedrooms with ensuites on the ground floor, booked individually for double occupancy.

6 Persons Rate is for 4 adults and 2 children utilising both Bedrooms.

5 Persons (2 adults, 3 children) can be accommodated in Opaline (largest) room with sofabed & camp bed. Please enquire for price.

Extra child bed can easily be accommodated in either bedroom.

Outside the Main House and across the courtyard is a separate detached Stone Cottage (historically the servants quarters) is also available and can sleep maximum four people on two sofa beds.

25% extra person supplement applies to all Bed & Breakfast Rooms and the Stone Cottage/Gite.

Please ask for Christmas and New Year rates with or without staffing/catering. Extra upstairs bedrooms can be used to cater for upto 12 people.
