Newly refurbished (September 09) bright spacious studio in the town of Beausoleil suspended between Monaco and Roquebrune Cap-Martin. The apartment is only a short stroll from local amenities which include a variety of independent retailers, an outdoor market and restaurants. There is plenty to do and see locally and in the surrounding areas. The apartment is ideally located to take full advantage of all that Monaco has to a offer but without the added expense. Monaco's Lavotto beach is only a short walk (approx 10 minutes) from the apartment, beach towels provided at no extra charge.
The apartment benefits from a sunny terrace (9 metres square) furnished with table and chairs allowing you to dine al fresco. Inside there is air conditioning, large sofa bed, dining table and chairs, seating for 4 people. Satellite TV and free WIFI available. Modern kitchen and fully tilled bathroom including wardrobe, storage units, linens and towels.

The Monte Carlo region
Monte Carlo was named in honour of Prince Charles III. Based on the Mediterranean coastline it has a micro climate which offers over 300 days of sunshine a year. Monte Carlo is well known for its casino, gambling, glamour, super sized yachts and celebrities. It has plenty to offer to all ages and interests from the arts, culture, exceptional cuisine and high-adrenaline activities like the Formula One Grand Prix, land and water sports and exhilarating nightlife.
These are just a few of the numerous things to do and see in and around Monaco.
Monte Carlo Opera House, Le Sporting Monte Carlo, Observatory Caves, Azur Express Tourist Train, Marlborough Gallery, Monte Carlo Ballet, Philharmonic Orchestra and Spas.
Museums: Oceanographic and aquarium, Prince Rainier collection of classic cars, Napoleonic and Naval, Stamps and Coins, Automation and Dolls of Yesteryear and Prehistoric Anthropology.

Beausoleil / Jardins D'Elisa area
The French town of Beausoleil formerly known as Monte Carlo Superieur is surrounded by history, with beautiful architecture consisting of charismatic Belle Époque houses along with Art Deco and modern day developments. The delightful Gustave Eiffel market and St Joseph's Sanctuary (Church) are a stroll down the main road from the apartment. The Church was built between 1913 and 1930 which still has the original stained glass windows made by master glassmakers of the 20th century, credited by the Mauméjean brothers. St Joseph festival March 19th is still celebrated with the traditional giving of blessed rolls, a sign of solidarity.
Beausoleil is very well placed suspended between Monaco and Roquebrune Capmartin. Nearby are some of the most beautiful and pictureque towns in France which are easily accesible - the Golden Corniche comprises of St Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche Sur Mer & Beaulieu Sur Mer - many celebrity homes are in these area's.
Should you wish to travel further a field trips to the medieval villages of St. Paul de Vence or Eze, the perfume factories of Grasse, Italy’s ski slopes and the boutiques and markets of nearby San Remo are recommended as are Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in St. Jean Cap Ferrat or La Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu Sur Mer.
If you fancy a bit of shopping visit Nice, Cannes or the indoor shopping mall of Cap 3000 in St Laurent Du Var which should keep you occupied with over 100 shops and over 3500 free car parking spaces available. Open Mon-Sat 10am - 9pm. Cap 3000 has everything to offer; Galeries Lafayette department store with top name designers as well as other retailers offering clothing and shoes, jewellers, perfumeries and homeware to sports stores, children's toy shops, florists, newsagents, confectioners and delicatessens. There are even telephone and electronics shops for more practical purchases. After shopping you can visit the beach which is directly outside the mall. All can be accessed by train which is a beautiful run along the coastline, alternatively you can take the bus. The owner has knowledge of these areas so please feel free to enquire. There is also a briefing pack in the apartment with timetables to help make planning your stay a little easier. Beausoleil tourist office just a short stroll away from the (approx 150 metres away).
How to get there
FLIGHTS - BMI Baby, Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Jet2 & British Airways as well as many other operators offer flights into Nice, please see individual websites for more information.
BUS - Monaco Express bus. No 110. direct from the airport to Monaco Tourist Office approx 30 minutes. Then take the HLM Tenao bus no.11 just a short ride which will drop you outside the apartment block.
CAR - All major car hire rental companies operate from Nice Airport.
Motorway (Autoroute A8) from Nice, take exit number 56 Monaco/Beausoleil or exit number 57 La Turbie. If travelling from Italy take exit number 58 Monaco/Beausoleil.
TRAIN - Nice to Monaco station approx 20 minutes, take Beausoleil station exit, taxi rank outside or walk to the apartment, approx 15 minutes.
HELICOPTER - Nice to Monaco transfer approx 7 minutes. Further information regarding flight times, prices and bookings can be made through Heli Air Monaco website / tel +377 92 050 50 or Monacair website / tel +377 97 97 3900. The apartment is approx 2km away from the nearest heliport.
